All of them starting off happy, then being concerned and changing outfits, then being either crazed, depressed, afraid, confused, etc. and more changes in outfit to show how things have changed, and the burned picture... beautiful.
I also like how the characters change as the events unfold. I mean, the ending (or the animation in general) is quite depressing, more than I would like to be honest. However saying that, I can accept not everything is happy or ends happy.
All I want is for Wilbur to say “It was never meant to be.” And hit the button that blows everything up. Even better if Eret is there. I just want old lines to be said again with new meaning. Just- Edit: Well bOY OH BOY I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF RIGHT NOW

WHEN WILBUR WAS GOING TO PRESS THE BUTTON AND IT FLICKERED BETWEEN WHEN ERET BRETRAYED LMANBERG BY PRESSING THE OTHER BUTTON- THAT WAS AMAZING, I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! (AT LEAST IM GUESSING THAT WAS ERET)
One of my favorite parts about this is the ending picture, with Wilbur and Eret marked off in some way. It shows that they consider Eret a traitor and that Wilbur isn't completely there (since fire tends to leave things behind in the ashes). What's interesting is that Fundy isn't marked off, since according to LITERALLY EVERYONE ELSE BUT THE CABINET, Fundy's a traitor, who went against his father and worked for the enemy team. Not only that but everyone left in the picture is considered a child, either in real life or in-game. It's up to the children, the new generation, to put things back together.

I just love how at 1:36 you can see everyone’s expressions, especially techno and bad’s, are getting more serious like they recognize how L’manburg is becoming more hostile under jschlatt.
At tubbos execution I love how at first you can see techno making jokes and internally panicking before schlatt tells him to shoot tubbo, also the eyes around techno represent the pressure he was under really well

i love this litterally so much, i like the fact of how it just progressively shows lmanburg falling apart and how each time the og memebers of lmanburg and the dream smp slide across the screen they get sadder, like i genuenly cant explain how good this is
I like rewatching this because it brings me back to a time where I was actually invested in something a point where song has a legitimate impact and words has true meanings. Call it nostalgia or whatever but for me it’s genuine reverence of a point in life where things had simmered down away from strife and tribulations, a point where things felt tangible. Sure it’s a colored storyboard of teenagers fighting in a block game it still works

Ok this has had to have been the best animatic I have ever seen- I might even say better than SAD-ist's! I love all the character designs they fit so well with their personalities I love how they show Techno under a lot of peer pressure because he didn't really want to kill Tubbo I also love how Wilbur is slowly going insane throughout the whole animatic and that part where he was in the TNT room and it switched to the table with the red button that Eret had pressed- just amazing. I also love all the scenes where the characters switch- it really shows all of their emotions at the different points of the story. I also like how George is yawning at the end, I think it's supposed to symbolize how he slept through the election but im not really sure lol. And the black and red L'manberg flag and the ruined picture at the end really hit hard This is SO underrated your work is amazing and this deserves so much more love than it got.
Oh wow. I've been in love with this song for the past 6 months, I've been following the SMP, and now I find this masterpiece mixture of both of them. The thought put into this is extraordinary, not even to mention the effort and skill, the moods you portrayed with the animation perfectly matched that of the song. My absolute favorite thing about the dream smp is that it isn’t just a server anymore. Since the day Wilber joined it’s been a journey. It’s a full story for the history books. And I LOVE that. And all that is wrapped up with a pretty little bow in this magnificent animation.
