    This worked! I just bought brand new buds plus and right one was not connecting...it appeared to be charging but it was not.
    I charged the case to 100% and then the working left bud i removed from the case.
    The light would go green at this point; i took the right one (the one with issues) and kept reseating it in the case until the charging light stayed red. Left it alone when the light stayed solid red.
    I used the wear app (which still showed right as disconnected) and i disconnected the buds plus entirely.
    Waited about 10 mins; using the wear app...i reconnected and this time it showed the right side as 1%.
    Letting it charge to a good amount before confirming but for now aleast i can see it in the wear app!
    Update: mine is working correctly now; the key is to keep reseating the bud until it begins to charge...i believe the issue is that the bud's battery is drained too much where the charge board does not realize that it needs to charge. So seat it in the case and if the light goes red for about three seconds and goes green again. Keep repeating it until it has enough battery to power the charge controller to realize it needs to charge n the light will stay red. Well past the typical few seconds...then do not touch it! Leave it alone for about 10-15mins n reconnect using wear app...
    You should see it at 1% or 5%
    Im charging both buds from my case without the same issue. Charging correctly with case n all.
    Dont let them drain to that point again. Or else youll be doing this again.

      Update...mine is working correctly now. Charged up n jamming out to my workout with them now. I did notice youll hear a beep for a few mins on the one that was having issues ( right bud for me) but it cleared by itself within 4mins of me playing music over the beep ( it sounds like a sonar in the ear while music is playing, but it'll clear)

    I would like to say thank you, worked for me , was on the live chat with samsung for an hour and a hour no luck, copied what u did the first method and im now able to fully use my buds you are a legend thanks again

    So to note, you need to open the case. Take out both headphones out and then place both back in. Hold the left earbud touch pad like in the video and you should see the case light flash like the video. It took a few tries but I was able to get this to work. Note, I did this like 4 times and then let the case charge with the headphones for a bit and it finally showed up! This is the only thing that has worked so far. Again, just opening the case and touching doesn't work, you must take the headphones out and put them back in and then hold. Dont close the case after initially taking them out, leave it open, put them back in and hold the left earbud. I hope this helps others too

    This worked wonderfully! Thank you. What I did was keep both buds inside the case and hold down on the left bud (the one that was working). After it flashed red, I closed the case. 10 seconds later opened the case, connected and both buds connected. A great fix!

    Thank you Hady for this amazing tutorial! I just purchased this and the right one won't connect until I try your method.
    Press and hold one of the buds until it blinks. Once it starts to blink, pair up with your phone and close the case. Then your buds should be good to use with both of the buds fully functional. Hope this helps everyone!

    This is the fix. If only Samsung put as much effort in as you did. Thank bro. You saved me from buying a new pair lol. Took 3 tries but this technique worked for me.

      I got mine to do the steps he listed, but that didn't solve my problem. Turns out, just removing the wing tip was the fix I needed. The charging points were having trouble making a connection.

    OMG, thank you so much for this video. I tried like hundreds times, hours and hours spent. But somehow it finally works. I still dont know whats wrong with the buds. It is brand new tho

    Thank you so much. ! I had problem with my left ear bud. I understood that it might be dead because of no charge. So removed right side n charged left one alone for some 30 min. Then i noticed charging signal in case with left one alone. After that i placed right side also in case and did as u said. I did long press on the right bud. After following your procedure, both ear buds detected and successfully charging.

    That didn't work for me for several times and if it doesn't for someone too - here are exact steps I did (may be will also help somebody)
    1) I moved away from any other Bluetooth devices I had (not sure if that make sense at all, I just said I describe everything 😅)
    2) connected buds to phone and saw missing right bud
    3) pressed left bud until green, then red blinking. Waited about 7s while it was red blinking
    4) released finger and closed case
    5) waited for 10s
    6) opened the case with opened galaxy wearable app
    7) got disappointed that right bud is still missing
    8) cried
    9) took them both of the case, put into ears and clicked both (still crying)
    10) put right bud back to case and closed it while listening something in left bud
    11) after some time I opened the case with right bud and both buds are connected now 🎉🎉🎉 while right bud had 1% of charge
    12) that's it. After all these manipulations I finally got the both charging and working
    Thanks a lot again!

    i spent the last 24 hours trying to fix my buds+ as i had the left earbud disconnected and nothing worked even when i contacted a samsung support tech, i tried every possible fix on all the forums but nothing worked till i watched your video and 1 minute later it's working ,thank you so much man i salute you !!

    Never thought of this but thanks fam!! You helped out so many people having this issue. My method was using a Nintendo Switch power cord to charge them and it worked out too.

    Thank you so much, just got a pair of these and I was having this issue with the left earbud. I stumbled on this video and gave it a shot and BAM! it started to show the charge level in the app.

    Hi, just wanted say thank you so much!!! I was getting frustrated coz it was not working after trying many times. It would blink green then red but the right bud is still grayed out. What I did was unpair. Open wearable app and let it search for a while. Then i press both buds while inside the case. After it blinked from green then red, I then started pairing with in wearable app, and voila! Right bud showed as 1%!

    Today I received my Galaxy Buds + and when I first tried to connect them with my smartphone, the left earbud was not working. I was really scared because I was looking for solutions and answers on all internet websites and none of the solutions solved the problem. Fortunately I found this video. At first I was getting frustrated because I tried all the steps in the video but it didn't work after trying many times, the light only blinked once and no matter how many times I tried it doesn't blink again. But I started reading all the video comments from personal experiences with this issue and many of the users said they had to repeat all the steps many times, so I kept trying and it finally worked. I had to unplug and plug in the left earbud many times until the charging case recognized it and it showed as 1%. Then I charge the headphones until both are 100% charged, and now it works perfectly.
    Thank you very much for your video and for all the people who shared their experiences here!!!

    After about 5 times of pressing the bud that was working (with the green and then red light), then open and close, it started working! The non-working bud had 1% battery, so it was an issue of it not charging. Remember to try this a couple of times! Thanks, Hady Shabaan!

    Hady, you freaking genius. I bought these from riyadh and then the right one disconnected for weeks now. Since covid I couldnt get to Riyadh and international warranty doesnt apply to egypt so only was to fix this situation was to buy a new right bud for 1.5k half the pair's price! Went to maintenance here in Egypt, called samsung KSA, and nobody found a solution.
    Your method WORKS...after trying consistently for an hour or so...it came back to life, charged, updated its software, then started up! Had some connectivity and sound quality issues so uninstalled and reinstalled the wearable app and long pressed on both buds while wearing them to reset connection and voila, perfect!
    THANKS A MILLION BEGAD

      @@emmanuelagbesola4618 both buds in respective ears. Press them together and hold.. Keep holding for quite some time.. Say 1 min. Sometimes it doesn't work. Then switch off your buds. Switch off, switch on phone and retry. It will work for sure.. Might require multiple attempts. Hope it helps. Thanks

    THANK YOU MAN. Addition: I don't know why but at first times indicator didn't start to blink. But when I reset earbuds in galaxy wearable it worked. I didn't understand that for the first minutes but it finally started charging

    Also works for replacement earbuds. If you have ever lost a piar and tring to sync replacement bud with your existing. Thank you so much this video solved the issue.

    Phoned Samsung; they couldn't help. Tried forums; nothing there helped. Found this video; didn't work either... until it did! I tried multiple times but couldn't get the buds to start flashing so I unpaired the buds (or should I say BUD?) from my Galaxy S20 Plus, then opened the case, removed the left (good, working) bud. Then I took out right bud from case and replaced it into the case on its own, then pressed it down for few seconds. The light turned red (charging?) where previously it had shown green. I replaced the left bud, closed the lid, and allowed the flat right bud to charge. Reconnected (paired) the buds to the Galaxy S20+ after a short while; now both buds shown connected 100% charged.
    Thanks Hady. No idea why Samsung aren't adding your video to their support page. 👍👍👍

      Other than the video this comment helped me. I followed the steps in the video but it didn't work right away.. However, after just putting the disconnected bud in the charging case alone and letting it charge. (forgot about and went to bed). Just woke up this morning at it works!!!

    Thank you soo much!! It really worked! I was panicking because it would take a lot effort to have it replaced, especially in this corona time. I tried like, 4 times until it finally worked. So, don't give up guys! But the question is, a loooot of people have the same issue. Why? And why didn't they fix it?

    Mine are about 1.5 yrs old & right one was showing no charge with red light. My app connected to the left but not right. I tried a lot (cleaning, re-seating, etc) with no change. Followed procedure in video, tapping/holding mainly left one. Pretty quickly, lghts started blinking and finally went green. App connected & showed battery for both sides was 100%. Thank you sooooooo much! Found you on the Samsung help page 😄.

      @Japs Oroc Same here, I though mine was just broken. I tried more than 6 or 7 times. I unpaired, repaired. Opened the case, closed the case... pressed both, pressed one....not sure what did the trick but I unpaired, opened the case and pressed the one that seemingly worked and that did it. It might be a timing issue.

    This also solved my right ear bud not charging problem. As soon as I did this (held until red flashing) the right previously unresponsive earbud started charging. Thanks Hady!

      I have the regular ones but no joy. Am gutted. Utterly disappointed. None of the steps have worked on mine. No blinking no nothing.

    I don't know if this also helped me, but I have galaxy watch active (the first one) and I turned it off. Just for good measure. I followed then all the steps and it worked, right earbud was at 1%.

    Good lord thank you ever so much! I just received mine and the right earbud was completely dead out of the box brand new. It just would not charge. After pressing down on it in the case until it blinked, it reignited the charge and is now working. Thank you Hady!!!

      @@andremertens I pressed down on the one that was not working. This was the only one in the case at the time for me and I can confirm that it still works today and haven't had any issues since. Good luck.

    Found the fix: remove the silicone attachments to it and just place it back in charge. works like a charm

    Do you know if this procedure works to make an original bud and a replacement but pair together as one? I damaged my left earbud and ordered one off of ebay but i read a few forums that supposabky theres no way to connect them as a single pair only "Samsung" has the tools to do it.

    It worked for me! (Right buds)
    Press left buds while connect to phone and open galaxy wearable.
    Wait until green light blinking, and then red.
    Voila!
    Right buds detected automatically by phone and showed 1% battery on galaxy wearable.
    P.S. Tried several times before it actually worked, so if you haven't fixed it yet, try and try again!

    What works for me. Unplug and plug the broken one (me : right), until the light change from green to red. It means the charging case detect this buds. And then charge the right one without left buds.
    While charging for 10 min maybe, i try open the case. And then, voila. The wearable apps detect the right buds and say that it run out of battery. Super low battery.

      I tried this but the right bud first goes red, then after a minute it goes green....so you would think that means it's fully charged. My buds are lying to me 🥺

    Help! My left earbud is not charging! Today I drained it to the 10% left sign and I put it on the charger.. but after a few hours it still says it have only 10% left! To this day they were fine. I use them everyday and I have them since christmas

    this works for me. not in my first try (maybe i did miss something). then i tried again it worked.
    oh PS. i think i didnt remove the galaxy buds device on my phone on my first try. before the second try i reset my earbuds ( also means it was disconnected and remove from my phone) then this worked.

      Update guys. After a few weeks when this thing worked, same issue occurred again... did this again but it didnt work this time. I went to samsung service center and waited for 3 days they said it needed a software update. In short if this doesnt work for you, go to the nearest samsung service in your area. :)

    Mone didnt work. Go to wearable to reset it wont allow me i try update it wont allow me eighter because it's said both earbud must be connect to be updated since only right ear connected so i can't update it so it's hopeless

      I have been trying and for some reason I'm not getting the same results. When I open the case the light is red but the wear app says case 96% charged so not sure what to do to follow these steps

    Many thanks man! Finally some useful advice. What did it was pressing each bud for long until the red lighr started blinking, then the malfunctioning bud started to charge. Before, this malfunctioning bud acted like it was fully charged (green light) when it wasn't. Really disappointed in Samsung for this mess, shitty quality.

      @@raddhantbajaj917 put the buds in the case. Keep the case open. Try and keep your finger on one of the buds until you see the red light blinking. Do it for both buds. You will claim victory once the bud that wasn't detected shows a red light (charging) instead of green light (fully charged). Once it's charging, your phone will finally detect it. If my explanation seems weird, don't worry, we've all gone crazy trying to make these buds work. I wasted the whole of yesterday until i found this video.

      Try both techniques, pushing on each bud separately for about 10 secs, or both at once, while they re in the case and of course the case is open, needless to say. Be patient, it will work...

    I got an issue where the left side of my air pod pauses when I'm listening to music and it's always the left buds that pauses it. I've tried to see if it's dirty and have properly cleaned it but it just keeps on pausing when I'm not even pressing my bud to pause. Is there any way to fix this?
