Small correction. Unraveling orbs grants unraveling round to STRAND weapons. Outbreak perfected is not a strand weapon and therefore doesn't get unraveling rounds. You do however have access to on demand unraveling through your melee. That is unless you're referring to unraveling rounds on your semiotician.
It can work I use the osteo striga submachine gun with my solar subclass though because they're kind of similar to each other even though it's poison and fire aren't necessarily the same thing at all but you still have really nice large area effects if your counting in them flare solar grenades+everything else it's pretty good for combat
I personally use solar warlock and Outbreak, with chromatic fire for all the incandescent explosions as well as the spread with SIVA nanites. for Strand I use Necrotic grips and Osteo Striga but its an interesting build for sure, I think you would benefit greatly from max discipline and strength, to maximize your output of unraveling rounds, as well as consuming your grenades to get weavers trance.
Solar warlock sounds like a great way to use chromatic as well with the scorch with ember of char and eruption, underrated exotic for sure though and osteo is just plain out better but outbreak doesn't disappoint
@@Kryvo_ it's also good with fatebringer or any other weapon with firefly because you get the explosion from firefly AND the elemental burst from chromatic. So it's really fun with arc or void to voltshot or destabilize along with the firefly.

Chromatic fire is REALLY underrated. I use it a lot and I love it
It’s niece but a good boost for any kinetic weapons, I just seem to find either Outbreak or Quicksilver w/o Catalyst to be really good options for it

A very solid pve roll that can translate pretty easily to pvp if you wanted too
