Air Filter changing At Home / Maruti WagonR / Automobile educational video / queen on wheels

In this video we show how to replace/clean a WagonR air filter.This car is fitted with a 1ltr Maruti K Series engine.The K Series engines were introduced in India in 2008 in A Star. This engine also Powers Alto k10(Both old and new model) Celerio,Estilo etc.So this video should be useful for the owners of all these cars.
Engine air filters are a relatively inexpensive vehicle part, but they perform a very important job.Air filters catch all of the dust, grime, insects, sap, leaves, and any other debris that may get sucked up past the air intake of the vehicle's grill and into the engine itself. Without the air filter, those contaminants may compromise the engine, causing corrosion and abrasion.Clean air filters allow just the right ratio of air to fuel to enable the engine to function properly. Engines need adequate air for the combustion process to take place. Without the proper combustion levels, vehicles cannot perform properly or efficiently and the engine may burn more gas or get fewer miles to the gallon. A dirty filter also can rob an engine of power.
It easy to replace/clean the air filter by ourselves.Its possible that your air filter just needs a good cleaning.So before you buy a new one take a look at your existing air filter. if it doesn't look too bad,you can use the same after cleaning it with a vacuum cleaner.
Many car owners are not sure when the best time to change the air filter.There are ways to know if your car is ready for a fresh filter.
In this video we share the importance of air filter,how to change air filter, certain indications that our vehicles show when the filter is clogged,and when to change filter.
