    My grandfather had a Cub back in the 50's, he flew it from Washington to Oregon to go on dates with my Grandma (he was way cooler than me:P). He also loved to and could build pretty much anything, seems like a fun project.

    Beautiful hand painting work looks good I do same thing I hand paint with sign painting paint and brushes like old school sign lanterns for my pinstripes and designs on my 3d printed planes or sometimes I'll 3d print it in the main color then paint the design on to it saves time and few bucks in paint

    Normal PLA kullanınca ağırlık artacağından dolayı daha farklı bir batarya kullanılabilir mi? Ne olabilir?

    • @Kendin-Yap
      @Kendin-Yap  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Daha düşük kapasiteli bir lipo olabilir. Normalde maksimum 1300mah kullanılabilir. 1000mah kullanabilirsiniz. Bir miktar da hafiftir.

    KendinYap great video, and thank you for sharing your 'skill'.
    Can you please explain why you choose to use diferent motor 2212 (recomended is 2830)?
    In 'coments' someone ask you if he can use 3s 1300mah battery, you say no, but in manual recomended battery is 3s 1300mah?
    I am guesing, but, this is why you must use 30g of 'ballast' to get a right cg.?

    • @Kendin-Yap
      @Kendin-Yap  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks.. The recommended 2830 is the same motor as the 2212 I am using. Why? :)
      Motor manufacturers use two different standards. Some brands use the outer body diameter of the motor, some brands use the inner rotor diameter. The value 22 is the rotor diameter inside. The value of 28 is the outer casing diameter of the motor. The outer body diameter of 2212 is also 28. Most of the big and high quality brands identify with rotor dimensions. The most accurate description is the rotor dimensions. The other is misleading. The technical values of the Emax XA2212 I use and the recommended motor are similar.
      Why I used 1000mah battery. The problem is not about weight. Dimensions are a problem.. The nose area of this model is very small. It is impractical for me to insert and remove the 1300mah battery.

    • @Neocro
      @Neocro 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Kendin-Yap thank you for 'clearing' that out. Great. Thumb up ;)
      I really don't wanna to 'mess' with you, your choice, Emax XA2212 is the 'best' motor for Piper CUB?
      And in your 'raw' video of flight with Piper CUB your flight time was cca 4.30 min? That is max flight time on 1000mah 3s battery, or you just get bored ;) ?

    merhaba , daha önceki kartondan yaptığınız uçakta motoru 3derece açı ile yapıştırmıştınız bu modelde de açı vermek gerekiyor mu

      Tasarımında var aslında ama motor yatağını yapıştırırken yine de biraz dikkat edin. Esnediği için açı kaybolabiliyor. Açı olması gerek.

      @@Kendin-Yap anladım, ozaman kanat uçlarından ve gövde den simetri alarak 3 dereceyi belirleyip öyle yapıştırayım. Cevabınız için teşekkürler.

    I have a Bambu Labs printer using Bambu Studio, which isn't recognizing the interior geometry of most of the parts. Just the external geometry. Fuselage #1 printed just fine. Everything after that has been a bust.

      The bamboo silcer is very new. I don't think it has some of the print settings needed for airplanes. Designers will probably make improvements on this issue in the future. Prusa silicer also did not support this a few years ago.
