I am an HVAC installer and repair tech. A few years ago I was replacing all of the flex duct (flexible ductwork) in a small house that was being sold. When I cut the flex under the master bedroom I heard something hit the ground next to me. It was making a strange whirring sound. I grabbed my flashlight and to my surprise it was a black "Toy" that was at LEAST 12" long and was whirring and rotating inside one of the largest zip lock bags I have seen. I laughed and continued my job. I finished about 2 hours later and that thing was still going strong. I told the homeowner about it and he said "I don't want it." "That's why I want out of the rental business". I don't know how they got that into the duct work. It sure did have some good batteries in it.

Once while viewing a house I saw a person sitting there that wanted 3 percent of the sale price for doing virtually nothing. Shivers......

OK, my wife died 10 years ago in our house (cancer), the day after she died the paranormal stuff started happening non-stop, obviously she died but she didn't leave, I saw her ghost very clearly one time. Stuff happened every day sometimes several times a day, I was almost afraid to leave my bedroom in the morning because so much stuff had been moved overnight. Little displays of her stuff, all the pictures in the house tilted, TVs turned on or off, lights turned on that were off when I went to bed, that kind of stuff. Things ramped down over the years, on the 10th anniversary of her death last August I asked aloud; "are you still here Miss Glenda, move something obvious if you still are"?. The next morning there were three toothpicks arranged in a perfect row on a table next to my recliner, they weren't there the night before. My question; do you have to disclose to a prospective buyer that a house is haunted?

I was an electrician. I went to quote one job. In the living room they had a stripper pole. In the basement was a bed with furry handcuffs attached with a chain. Next to the bed was the LARGEST "toy" that I've ever seen and a bucket of lard. I'm not judging, just clean up before the electrician gets there.

I viewed an apartment when I was looking to buy one. The occupants were there. I don't know if they were owners or tenants. The toilet bowl was completely coated in brown, inside and out. The wall was splattered, too. The entire place was a mess and it smelled. I don't know how people can live like that. I don't know how they could be there and not die of shame.

My wife and I were helping my mother and step-father look at houses. One morning, we met the realtor at a prospective house. She assured us that she had made contact with the woman who owned the house the previous evening, and that it would be fine to show the house that morning. We walked up to the front porch, and she rang the doorbell and knocked for about a minute, and there was no response. After she opened the front door, she asked us to wait briefly while she went in to confirm that nobody was there. Right as she came back to tell us it was okay to enter the house, we heard the garage door open and the woman and her boyfriend were in a convertible, rushing out. She and the man were covering their faces, as if they were embarrassed. They even forgot to close the garage door since they were in such a hurry to escape. Well, we went in and looked at the house, and everything seemed normal until we got to the master bedroom. The boyfriend’s shoes and socks were still next to the bed, and on the nightstand next to the shoes, he had left his dentures. Her nightgown was on the floor on the other side of the bed. We thought the whole thing was hilarious. They almost bought the house, but ended up buying another house close to that one. Every time we go to visit, I wonder where this couple escaped to, considering that the poor guy was most likely without shoes, socks or teeth. And I’ve always wondered why they acted so ashamed.

I went to show a home once and I heard scratching and growling from a room. I took a peek in there to see if it was a dog or what. It was an actual lion on a big mat.

I was looking at a house with my agent who was very pregnant. She was due in 6 days. The basement stairs were sketchy narrow , so I told her that I would go down alone. Am I glad I did. There was a man who appeared to be sleeping. I called to him, he did not answer. He had passed in the night. I went back up stairs, went out side while she shut off lights. When I called police and her husband. I made an excuse to her for staying in driveway, that I had a call. Her husband was great checking on her. The police and ambulance showed up, we got in thru basement , which I left unlocked. Being that she was sue with twins and that close, as well as being over an hour to hospital, am glad I did what I did. He was homeless and died of natural causes. Did not buy house.

Not a realtor, but here are the situations I encountered while viewing houses on the market. The realtor and I rang the bell and knocked and called out if anyone was home and got no response. Opening the door to the master bedroom, we found a completely naked man sleeping on the bed. We departed without waking him. Same realtor, but a different house, we upstairs and entered the large attic. The attic room had been transformed into what looked like a satanic temple: red carpet on the floor and walls, altar in the middle of the room and chains and handcuffs attached to the walls. We beat feet out of there so fast and not a word was spoken til we were on the street. Have to say, I can’t believe anyone would put a house on the market that had its own satanic temple. 😬

I wouldn't expect a satanist to be ashamed of their religion anymore than I'd expect a Christian to be ashamed of theirs. But the handcuffs seem like they were into bondage/S&M. If there were "satanic" symbols, it could just be decor to "set the mood." Not everybody takes these thing seriously.

My real estate agent told me a story about a situation. The firm got a call from a woman who claimed one of their agents showed up to show her house without calling or knocking while her teenage daughter was home alone terrifying the daughter when they surprised her. After talking to the agent it turns out he did call and nobody answered and he did knock and again no answer so he used the lock box to get in and to their surprise the daughter and friends were having a little orgy.

I was checking out houses with a realtor who told me that one time he went to show a house and found a sex party going on in there. Lots of people, some were actively engaged on the stairway. He hightailed it out of there and whisked his clients away fast but what got to him the most was the smell, he said.

Weird that murders have to be disclosed by not deletions.

Could be that they're thinking that the killer might be out there and return to the scene of the crime to do more harm, not that there might be a ghost. I think it's crazy that superstition is codified into law.
