The Worlds Most Unreliable Theme Park Gets a New Roller Coaster! (Planet Coaster Campaign)

- Back in Planet Coaster continuing the planet coaster campaign where at the moment, we're on mars building a theme park that out of this world! In this episode, I attempted to recreate a classic star wars scene of a land speeder cruising along a desert. Did it work? Let me know! Pretty neat roller coaster in the end and I ended up eventually seeing to the poor rides that kept braking down.

Am I the only one who loves suspended coasters? They're not uncomfortable at all in my opinion, actually one of my favourite types of coasters... But maybe I only rode the good ones

Build a space themed dark ride!
An idea for it is, start the ride up high, then make a spiral and drop down in the center. Then rename it "the black hole"

When done right the hanging coasters are amazing, mindbenders 6 flags Dairend lake, Batman 6 flags Dallas, raptor cedar point I've been on those 3 of the hanging feet and they all felt amazing.
I personally dont like the V shaped lap bars like on the goliath at 6 flags over GA. I honestly felt like I was going to come out of the seat which had me freaking out the entire ride.
In all honesty Ollie, I would use the "Frontier" cheat to stop the rides breaking down.
Try assigning your mechanics to specific rides by making locations. That way they are not all roaming.

Maybe the rides break down so much because they are not properly attuned to the atmosphere of Mars. ;)

I’m a coaster enthusiast and that white SLC is a bad ride! Though the version Bolliger and Mabillard makes is a lot better and it has less headbanging in the ride experience!
To fit the theme of space and stuff, you should add a 4th dimension coaster. (Look at X2 or Eejanaika for inspiration). Keep up the good work! :)

I've ridden a lot of coasters and one of my all time favorites was Volcano in Kings Dominion, just outside of Richmond Virginia. She was a hang down launch coaster. I would never have said it was uncomfortable at all, it was in the top 10 and 20 coasters in the US forever. Unfortunately gone now due to constant break downs and maintenance.
There are multiple types of inverted coasters like volcano. Volcano was an Intamin Suspended Catapult coaster. Everyone loved it. The one he made was a Verona SLC. The restraints and track profiling makes pretty much all SLCs have a lot of head banging and jerkiness. B&M inverted coasters are the best kind. People were saying he should have done one of those.

That coaster looks fun even though it’s small the only thing I would change is make hills when the tracks intersect to make it more realistic and to make the ride a little more fun

I wish he would make a big tunnel that is spaced themed, and he can choose a coaster that looks like an x wing or space ship, and he can incorporate space themed decor, and the coaster can like dodge lasers and stuff

What happened to the super realistic park did you get it to work
For all people who aren't coaster enthusiasts and don't know about that "uncomfortable coaster" at the beginning, allow me to explain.
The coaster's track is meant to be the track of Vekoma's Suspended Looping Coaster (SLC). The SLC has earned a bad reputation of being rough and uncomfortable. Fortunately, Vekoma has went on to build some more thrilling and smooth coasters.

Make a theme park that can be made to the tiniest dimensions available.
Increase the training level of the mechanics. That should help increase their productivity.
OLLI PLEASE READ MY COMMENT AND MAKE ROSTERS FOR YOUR MECHANICS! That's how you can basically make them live on the ride, because they can't leave the given area.
I use to operate a roller coaster that was a similiar style to the rollercoaster you opened with. Those are one of my favorite style of rollercoasters. I find them really smooth and comfortable IMO
People always give Arrow so much crap! There coasters definitely aren’t the smoothest but they changed the coaster world! I love riding my local Arrow coasters like Viper and magic mountain and Matterhorn at Disneyland.

The rides keep breaking down. Don't you know it's because of the Martian sand? It gets into everything.
I watch ur videos and I bought the game LOVE IT. on one of my worlds I picked up people and put them at the enterence to the ride and if they walked away I put them on a piece of path called the naughty spot 😂
The bad ride coaster enthusiasts are talking about are vekoma slc/ suspended looping coaster
The rollercoaster you made last video looks like flight dec at Canada’s wonderland
It’s better if you assign your mechanics to a certain ride, that way when a ride breaks down, the mechanic is right there to fix it
Maybe training up your mechanics so they dont use bubblegum and rubber bands to fix the rides
Haha some of them suck and some of them are ok, but that kind of coaster, the B&M hanging coaster, is notoriously known as the "Hang and Bang" due to how much your head bangs against the restraints on someof the more terribly made ones.
You should make work roasters, it helps the mechanics to be always close to the broken rides

I remember in RT3, you could assign mechanics to certain areas. I just made sure I had a mechanic for EVERY ride.

Your coasters seem pretty unrealistic, no banking, and just overall unrealistic.
I doubt Olli will read this, but anyone else interested in playing the harder difficulty campaign missions: You need to do more than just hire mechanics. You need to set the less reliable rides to 10 min intervals AND those rides need to be constantly refurbished (not rebranded, that is a different thing). It is unfortunate that ride reliability doesn't show up until you place the rides, because at higher difficulties the more reliable rides you might have tended to ignore because they are less exciting become more valuable in these scenarios because they aren't constantly breaking down. Aeronauts and Grand Carousel (if you have the Magnificent Rides DLC) become the two best rides in the game in parks where rides break down all the time (though you will want to change their ride sequence: Grand Carousel should have ten ride cycles of only the second option, and Aeronauts should have 16 cycles of only the third option on its list). Make sure to maximize queue scenery and then set the ticket price to 3x the prestige in cents (so 1000 prestige = $30.00). You'll make a steady profit and these rides should rarely if ever break down if you have a proper maintenance team.
Instead of block sections, extend the station back, so it’s long enough to hold multiple trains (don’t add any more cars to the train), so two or three trains can actually fit on the station. Then, the trains will follow each other on the track that wasn’t designed with block sections in mind. You just have to make an observation for how long each train should wait after the previous one, to leave the station. You don’t have to, of course. Trains can leave the station as soon as the guests de/board... so long as that isn’t so fast that the trains will run into each other.
Ollie. Please Please Please fix this coaster. Half of the track is in the ground and the track goes right through the other track. So please take the track out of the ground and make it so that when you are coming back, you don’t go straight through other pieces of track!
