Currently in my favorite community server there is a glitch where a player can freeze everyone’s game within an 800 m distance with nothing but the stuff that a freshy spawns in with it really makes it hard to enjoy the game and it seems like something Bohemia could fix easily, but it’s just not happening.
It may have glitches but I'm still always coming back, only community servers. I've yet to find an alternative that gives the same feels that dayz creates. I'd say if you find it unfun to play, then just don't play.
10 year old game in combination with playing official or really bad community servers youll have a rough time for sure, i strictly play servers like dayone, zero, karmakrew, or stuff like bitterroot and never have to worry about cheaters, or duping. The game has had quite a few good updates recently, games honestly in the best state it has ever been. If youve been around you know official is no mans land and there isn't really much point in playing it anyway, half the players dont know what a microphone is lol
I play on official had a base goin for three weeks now. Unraided not sure if this is a typical experience as I'm quite new, been playing a few weeks maybe a month now
Three weeks is a good run. I gave up on bases. It's not if your base gets raided but when. They seem to last a week or two usually. I travel light and will bury my loot if I need to.

yeah sometimes it is but if you have issues all the time, the problem in clearly at your end.
this is why i only play modded servers. they have way more active admins for dealing with this. official is full of cheaters.

This 100%. I play karma 90% of the time and never had issues like on this video

Community servers is the move bud (: find a couple good ones! I have only encounter one cheater in my 400 hours.
