This brushless jet ski is awesome and it's pretty big and moves along well. I love the added touch of the figurine rider! Looks a lot more realistic!

Yeah Dan it's a fun RC for sure, yeah the xt30 plugs are odd, i may change it out to xt60 or a Deans T-plug soon so i have heaps of lipo options, definitely reminds me of the mjx bugs drone days !

Hey, thanks mate is a fun RC Jetski for sure! yeah probably wasn't necessary but i added a bit of hot glue on his butt so there was no chance of it flying off on sharp turns 😂

Hey Mike, thanks for watching brother, yeah it's a pretty cool rc jetski isn't it! I been looking for a one this size scale for a while since I reviewed a smaller one on the channel a few years back. Oh yeah this small pond is where I used to go all the time years ago but come down here once in a while, just a bit of a drive to get here! my very close by local pond is all dried up at the moment from a very hot summer. Also I'm feeling good after the surgery brother, cheers for asking. 👍🏻

Did you get much water inside the hull of yours? Mine seemed quite wet inside and this played games with the ESC and servo.
Hi mate there was a little water inside but not much, mainly the water was on the front of the hull under the top cover in front of the head light plug like how I showed in this video, but I put that down to me doing heaps of donuts as the jetski dipped underwater.
@@PERTHWESTOZRC Mine got much more water inside (easily half a cup) but I wasn't worried as I thought all the electrics were supposed to be waterproof. When I was testing everything was fine but later when I got home the electronics were not behaving correctly. The servo was glitching badly and there was interference between the throttle and steering channels. The motor also took several seconds to react to the inputs from the transmitter.
Is brushless really that much faster than brushed? I've seen videos before where the extra speed of the motor doesn't contribute much more speed for these jets
Hey Henry well i did see Amain made a video on these and there was a bit of a difference when they lined the brushed and brushless one up. The brushed one is rated at only 14kph while this brushless one is rated at 20kph max speeds. for a few extra bucks I personally prefer this version as it has an independent 80A waterproof esc that most likely is 3s capable and also the independent receiver as well is much better choice than the 2 in 1 combo the 390 brushed model has. There is a discount code on these atm so i guess most would likely go for the brushless model while on sale! Cheers for watching man.
