does anyone else wonder WHY? Indonesia doesn't build and market a Motorcycle Company from that Region?? Seems like the talent & innovation is surely already, there!! Hope its not wasted any longer, as I'd sure buy one, as many in the USA!! Please, young geniuses...do what it takes to combine with money, to make your hopes, and ours, a reality!! Ahemmm...the REAL need are FUNCTIONAL "workhorses", though, world-wide. Racers are dandy, sure...but some of us need to WORK our machines!! buona fortuna....
That's a good question. Although I don't know the reality about Indonesia, I think it will be a political issue. If the government increased taxes on imported motorcycles, perhaps this would increase the need to manufacture motorcycles in the country itself. :) Cheers.
In here modern look bike liked a lot by the population, as CR style looked outdated. But some of us has our own way of enjoying motorcycle and created culture of coffee drinking, hanging out and riding CR style bike😊
Such talented builders on all three machines. I really enjoy seeing the simplicity that these little, mighty machines showcase. That Suzuki round cylinder head is beautiful. Thank you Racer TV for highlighting these wonderful little Café Racers
Christian Sipahutar: Perseverance, tenacity. When you believe in something, it certainly comes true. Admirable. Congratulations. Is beautiful. Dana Prasetya and team: Incredible, eccentric and imaginative. I like it, because it is out of the ordinary. Good job. Tom Gilroy: Elegant, beautiful and delicate. I love it. I would like it displayed in the living room of my house. Another great and inspiring video. Thank you.
@gdzhcustomcycle Dear Dana, I am very glad you liked this surprise. To be honest, I've wanted to include your beautiful Suzuki in one of my videos for several years. And I finally managed to do it. Congratulations for your work. You created the most beautiful Suzuki A100 in the world (Probably) :) Thank you my friend for your support. :) Cheers
These bikes are really nice, thank you for even more inspiration. My Kawasaki 305 styling and bodywork is progressing thanks to your channel. Lets hope I get it on the road this year.
I cannot hide my joy at seeing these three projects, simply on low displacement motorcycles is where some of the best examples of cafe racer style motorcycles can and have been achieved. The three motorcycles are fabulous of course, they have character and originality from different ways of building and modifying, the first has the extra of the engine modification, which gives an extra surprise to see something that looks like it came from a Royal Enfield bullet from the old days. Great video,
Three very eloquent small café racers! These unique builds could have been accomplished no better by experienced professionals. As always, thank you for Racer TV, the Café Racers only choice! Hope you all are doing well and can enjoy some time riding. Ride safe my friend! Cheers:)
Watching videos of what some of these people in other countries do without all the "right" machinery and tools makes you wonder what they could do if they had access to an actual shop!
i play this video over and over again,. if you look at the first motorbike it is minimalist, but if you look at in detail, this is an extreme custom, the frame has been completely changed, changing the engine like that automatically creates new oil lines in the engine, and there is an additional oil cooler, the swing arm looks like it has a carbon effect. the machine logo is engraved with the logo of the football club he loves.. good job.
Lol. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. Yes, the first project in this video is very impressive. Yes, the swingarm and other parts, were coated with a layer of cast carbon. :) Cheers
The power of creation, the preservation of the disciplines requisite to preserve the café motorcycle as a true art form, especially in the smaller displacements machines is nothing less than inspiring. I believe your work showcasing these works and all the others furthers the would be makers of tomorrows machines. Never less than Bravo to you!!! Oh! do you have anyone out there who is 70 like me and in the process, or has completed a build worthy of your channel?
@samuelhatman8995 Thank you my friend for all your kind words. I appreciate your support. Yes, there is. His name is Steve, and he is 72 years old. Here is the link: th-cam.com/video/pgbdiHM3aMg/w-d-xo.html :) Cheers
As always great video. The second motorbike make me thinking the iconic FAMEL XF 17, probably because of the fuel tank shape. So much talent on this channel 👍
Indeed. There are some similaraties with the FAMEL XF 17 fuel tank. but the Suzuki T125 fuel tank, is almost identical. Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. :) Cheers
Excellent as always! But you have to confess the work and parts of such builds can surpass the costs of a bigger more powerfull bikes (with some customization) easily :D
Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. Indeed. But we have to consider that in some countries, the annual tax on motorcycles with more than 250cc, is extremely high. That is why they prefer small displacement motorcycles. :) Cheers
for the Honda GL motorcycle community in Indonesia, there are very many members, but for café racers, it is very few but it is very enchanting if they gather..
Excellent video Racer, as always. Great to see some small bikes, they are all very cool cafe racers ,all the builds have done an outstanding job. Ride safe and take care mate. Cheers
Building a different kind of motorcycles was consuming time money effort..but the purpose shall remain to maintain the possibilities.. Me.. I have 3 kind of motorcycles.. But one of this are my most lovely to customized.. For my fashion and do make my own style ..
I have a small part of my heart that belongs to small engines. The first bike I owned ... and duly modified, was a Yamaha RS100. I then worked through various 100cc & 125cc bikes and onto a Suzuki GT250X7 which was my first "proper Café Racer" project! I love the Honda and the Yamaha, but I can't bond with the Suzuki! I think it's due to the lack of front down tubes in the frame that make me feel like there's something missing. The headlight/instrument shroud is just not right in my eyes for some reason that I can't quite put my finger on! However I do like the placement of the rear indicators on the top of the rear shock absorbers, carefully blended in and easily missed. The work on the engine on the Honda is quite outstanding!! Moving the starter motor to it's new position left me wide mouthed, but the belly pad ... looks a little rudimentary in my humble opinion, but that's just me being picky. With the Yamaha I was left searching for the rear suspension! Where is it? Is it a Mono shock or a hard tail but with out vertical struts?? I'm not familiar with the original factory bike but I was impressed when I finally found the monoshock set up. My final comment has to be 3 lovely small bikes, .... But did you change your voice settings for your sign off? It sounded strange! Thank you once again ... and Yes, I will see you on the next video.
@andrewhall836 Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion about these 3 projects. Interestingly, in most comments on this video, the Suzuki project is the favorite. I'm still having some problems with the voice upgrade. Exactly what part of the voice did you not like in this video?
@@RACER_TV The voice on the sign off seemed to me to bee a slightly lower tone (perhaps a bit slower) and just not your "usual self" that had been on the rest of the video. I appreciate I might just be being picky, but the "usual voice" is much softer and feels friendlier some how!
@andrewhall836 You are absolutely right. The end voice sequence was made about 3 months ago. I always liked the intensity with which the words are spoken in this sequence. Currently, I can't reproduce that same intensity/and tone of words. The problem is actually that the tone of the voice is lower than usual. But I promise I will solve this problem. I just need a little more time. Thank you for your feedback. You were very helpful. :) Cheers.
@andrewhall836 Hi. I just updated the new video with the new voice. Try to hear the "sign off" of this new video (th-cam.com/video/9joaMIJWYS4/w-d-xo.html) Let me know if it sounds better now. :) Cheers
Try finding a stock Honda CG125 these days, so many have all been turned into Brats/Bobbers and Cafe Racers. Yamaha XSR125 would make a good base for a custom, its 80% there already. All good stuff, small bikes are sadly looked over.
realy nice Motorcycles and beautiful CafeRacers but can´t ride the bikes here in germany. To many parts are not allowed, specialy parts who make the hole project cool and unique. In Germany its better you leave the Bike in original shape so you have the cops dayli on your side.^^
