18:40 Maybe you see it that way because of the colors, but in the 70s, the graphics in Mexico were much more than that. There are also other Idents from those years of the "Canal Once" that looks better than that.
@@archivadosenlatv yeah, and those idents aren't that hard to find either so idk why iri chose that one lol btw, TC did have an actual ident back then but the only remaining upload is pretty low quality (actually, a few years ago TC themselves uploaded on youtube the high quality version of it but for some reason it got copyright claimed by themselves, idk how)
I just love this rejected Hungarian ident. Everything, besides the font at the end is so pleasant to watch and hear. I can't see in which way it didn't meet the so-called standards. In my opinion, it looked pretty solid for a central European identity at that time. At least, it is still better than our boring flipping squares and that spaghetti looking two.
Piotr Dumała was also a creator of (as seen on this ident) Miliard w Rozumie intro. It was a game show hosted by Janusz Weiss, which didn't changed the intro for a whole air run between 1993 and my birth year (2005).
Hello Iri! I have been very busy these last few months and I'm sorry if I have not been able to contact you, but I really liked this compilation that complements your previous 1989-1992 video series. Especially since 1993 was a year in which the new private television channels began to displace the public ones in a large part of the world, and the IDs made in CGI have also surprised me a lot, Greetings! 🤝
Amazing compilation, Iri! It was brilliant to see a lot of idents that I haven't seen for 3-4 years, including the one from Azerbaijan, which I have always wondered what ident featured that synth music until now. Keep up the great work, mate! :-D
The music for the KTV1 ident sounds familiar. I remember hearing it on a British CGI animated advert for Radion laundry powder. Perhaps it's stock music.
Note In 42:26 this Station ID of PTV is actually recreation because the original one of 1990 station ID featuring the ABS-CBN Building has been lost media Not mentioned on this video was SBN-21, which is the first UHF TV Network in the Philippines

In the Mexican channels section, at 18:42 following XEIPN, there would be missing a station which started to broadcast that same year: "XEIMT Canal 22" (UHF-band Channel 22), another national public TV station (alongside XEIPN) focused in Arts and Cultural dissemination. In earlier years, "XEIMT Canal 22" belonged to the former IMEVISION network. In 1993 its management and operations were transferred to the Mexican public state organism CA-CONACULTA "Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes" (The National Culture and Arts Council). some sample early ID bumpers : [th-cam.com/video/eGmMnZvzptE/w-d-xo.html] [th-cam.com/video/xekiLeHapZg/w-d-xo.html]

3:18 ***Insert meme of Marie Kondo saying "This one sparks joy", followed by the old Nick aesthetic, and "This one does not spark joy", followed by post-2009 Nick aesthetic*** 4:54 Man, Comedy Central in the US shown good programming. The recent Latin American version (2012) hasn't ever been any good, showing repeats of 00s comedy series that are already shown on Televisa's own comedy network, and of course original "comedy" programs which are painfully dull must try harder. 5:40 A very Vaporwave ID, it's even from FL. 17:00 The Russian MTV 22:25 Whaaaat?! Televisa owned that channel? Well, that's another South American channel previously owned by a Mexican broadcaster, the first one I knew was La Red from Chile, it was briefly owned by TV Azteca. 27:03 The same "orchestral hit" sample used in the soundtrack of Konami arcade games such as TMNT and Sunset Riders 33:42 Though simple, it works so much, so much better than the ones broadcasted nowadays.
I thinks it like a prefix. I know in the us they have w or k to act as a prefix for their stations. In the uk where I live technically we do but they aren’t actually shown and no-one knows about them
Fun fact: I actually uploaded the TVM ident. Thanks for adding it.
Why did this become my comfort channel??? How did this happen?

23:57 This is also good but it looks like the Olympics logo

- *Czech Republic / Česko* -
29:38 The cube morphing is cool, but why is the background on fire
- *Hungary* -
30:34 Why was this rejected!?
Spain yes! 12:24
18:40 Maybe you see it that way because of the colors, but in the 70s, the graphics in Mexico were much more than that.
There are also other Idents from those years of the "Canal Once" that looks better than that.
@@archivadosenlatv yeah, and those idents aren't that hard to find either so idk why iri chose that one lol
btw, TC did have an actual ident back then but the only remaining upload is pretty low quality (actually, a few years ago TC themselves uploaded on youtube the high quality version of it but for some reason it got copyright claimed by themselves, idk how)

1993 has a lot of things, for example the OG Animaniacs.

Request: TV Station IDs during 1972 (no rejecting it)
Also here's the title music: Tyne Tees Start-Up (1970s and 1980s + seen at the end of music)
It is too close to 1973
42:35-42:43 PTV4 "borrowed" an element of WPIX's mid-late 80s movie intros!
12:23 Spain's TVE-2 nice intro...
Interesting video!
YAY NEW VIDEO
WoW And please make a video of TV Station IDs during 2003
The music for the KTV1 ident sounds familiar. I remember hearing it on a British CGI animated advert for Radion laundry powder. Perhaps it's stock music.
Note In 42:26 this Station ID of PTV is actually recreation because the original one of 1990 station ID featuring the ABS-CBN Building has been lost media
Not mentioned on this video was SBN-21, which is the first UHF TV Network in the Philippines
42:03 as a geography nerd myself i can confirm this is indeed a correct map
My brother Cody was born in 1993.
