RTP2 is the second television channel in Portugal. It was originally launched on 25th July 1968 to occupy two hours of RTP1's schedule during the nighttime. It is now a public service and an advertising-free channel. They were formerly known as II Programa, TV2, Televisao Dois and 2:. RTP2 is the only broadcaster from Portugal that broadcasts programming without interruptions, ad breaks, or in-line messaging.

RTP2 is just so strange when it comes to idents, it goes from good idents to.. what even is this? And then repeats it
I like the the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 20th, 22nd, 25th and 26th logo of RTP 2.

2002-2004 & 2004-2006
The short lived 2015 ident. Modern to this day, only ditched because they wanted to bring it closer to RTP1. Still one of the most beloved modern ident packs in the Portuguese TV community

All the pre-1983 logos are about 10 years behind in style...and it would appear that Portugal was quite late in adopting colour. (Not a criticism, just an observation.)
i'm sure that the "getting color in 1981 rather than between 1968-1975" part caused the outdated style
The first program that was broadcasted in colour was the final of Festival da Canção (Portugal's national selection for Eurovision) in 1980!
You know at the time, when you were in a country so self-sealed in and stern, which was caused by an autoritarian, nearly dictatorial, leadership; of course as a tv station you're gonna be late in style and in technics.

60 fps é incorrecto devido ao problema de micro-balbuciação (microstuttering problem - em inglês)
:/ mas sim TV portuguesa deve usar 50 fps porque 50 Hz obriga sincronizar 50 fps -> movimentos pura-exigentes = singular imagem. 25 fps a 50 Hz -> dupla imagem. Percebes bem?
