@ You must be a dumbass or a dickrider cause yes delay and latency are a thing in all games but depending on the servers they have it can be FAR less it’s been a thing for YEARS in 2k and its not getting better even after a whole console upgrade almost no other game has that problem anymore especially if you have even decent internet
Go to my court open your friends list find someone select their name press connect to server then you will have online latency in your mycourt now you got to put on rec sliders and figure out what difficulty rec is on and put the difficulty on that
It's my biggest issue. One days it's a delayed release, the next day it's a faster release. And then u throw in all the different speed changes to ur release in a game. Should have gone with an interior big to save my frustration
What you can practice for latency is accepting you can do ish, they got bad servers and you ll know a start of game if your timing is the same. Or making random red timing coming from nowhere

What's dumb AF is, in this huge city and even your own personal court, there is no way to practice free throws. Unless I'm mistaken, you can only shoot free throws during a game...which makes finding a good free throw animation and learning its timing beyond tedious. What a ridiculous oversight!

@@asvpxjase Well I barely played career (and now my guy is maxed out, so no longer any point)...so I only shoot free throws occasionally in rec. And I still have no idea how to time it, so it's like 60%. I've always used melo, and yeah it was automatic. So this year I set my rating to 70 as usual...only to find I can't use melo for whatever reason

Did you practice on standard mycourt or connect to server mycourt? The latter simulates latency without playing against people.

no it doesn’t. go shoot around in the pro am court and see how much more you miss than in the MyCourt. connecting to a server does nothing.

what about Rec timing? also whats the diff between each click on the shot cue that would allow us to adjust and compensate

They want you to be a 0.1 or 0.01 for perfect release with the game full of latency, not to mention that the green window moves. 2k trash and dead

I must live next door to a server, I never have latency or any of that. To me it feels like shooting on my career every single game
Park shooting is way different than ProAm or Rec
Pro Am courts dont have rec sliders. So latency assist will only get you so far.
I usually practice in the gatorade courts. It feels most similar to park for me
