    When the discussion is about " Who's the greatest? " for sure its always subjective. But Mike's influence in Basketball is the greatest! Everyone wants to be like him. You want to play like him, you want to wear his shoes. I mean common man. He is second to none. His colleagues knows the magnitude Mike brings to the table. Even if he is with celebrities, they tell you, Mike is more famous than them. 😂

    No - nba level players are the elite and always have been since it became professional…

    Question for the comments. Do you think Lebron’s longevity in the league has anything to do with the rule changes as it relates to fouls and overall play. Do you think Lebron could have played as many years through the late 80’s and 90’s where hacks Shaq was allowed?

    If the newly added teams from the Jordan era are still in the league, then the league is just as watered down today as it was then. Either way you still have the best 300-350 basketball players in the world. JJ’s logic doesn’t hold up.

  • @goskawow1943
    @goskawow1943 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

    JJ's argument doesn't quite hold weight because you're still adding the best players in the world to those teams. Yeah you'll have that team struggle for a few years but it's not unlike the ordinary doings of the NBA.

    Lebron is a great, great player and in my own personal rankings he's actually no.2 in my books. But MJ is no. 1 and I can't even see anyone coming close. MJ is a once in a lifetime player. There's the stars we all know about already, but for me what people forget about is how MJ played during the 80s and early 90s. MJ CAPTIVATED you. There's great skilled players today like Kyrie, Luka, Anthony Edwards, etc etc but they still don't excite me as much as MJ did. Something about the way MJ used to float in the air and do creative layups and dunk. There's a reason why they say, 'Wanna be like Mike' or 'Fly like Mike'.

    I don’t understand the dilution remark made by JJ.
    Yes, I understand it mathematically/technically. There’s more people playing, so hypothetically, there’s less talent on each team.
    But if you fast forward to today, there’s more teams, so you could say that the league is even more diluted today.
    I’m not factoring in athleticism in each era. I’m just making a point to JJ’s dilution argument.
    I don’t understand how it lessens Michael Jordan’s greatness unless you’re comparing him to people that came before him.

    LeBron is great at blaming teammates for a loss, for flopping all over the floor. For shopping for a team that can help him win a championship. Love when he does make a basket and walks toward the people flexing his bicep. I feel like I'm watching a comedian.

    doesn't count the playoffs, he said, but he kept pushing with his argument that the league was watered down in the regular season. "The real season begins in April" JJ.
    when it's about Russell winning 11 championships, the naysayers say he played in a 8 to 9-team NBA.
    when it's about Jordan winning 6 championships, it's a watered down 30-team league.
    make up your minds
