The Used has somehow been one of the few bands that hasn't degraded in quality over several decades.
The most underrated band in the world.
Opposite emo day. Instead of black, there's white. Instead of tears, there's smiles. Instead of blood, there's pink goo. While I have no idea what the hell is happening in this video, it's a treat to see the Used back it.
The struggle against a Mormon upbringing. Seems it's about being told who you should be, your parents already having your life planned out for you, constantly being told it's it's not okay to be yourself.
There are 5 or so references to Michael Jackson.

Martin Gonzalez wasn’t 4 years. Check the release dates. If something is released in 2014 you can’t assume it was released in January and count it as an entire year. What if it was in December at the very end of the year? They took a few months longer than they usually do between albums, but its because they did a huge anniversary tour playing the first 2 records in full. They also got a new guitarist since the last record. Regardless, they never went anywhere and have been releasing albums since they started
At first I wasn't big on this, but the. The guitar came on and thought the chords sounded sick, and then of course Bert's God Tier voice came on, and became hooked. The Used, you never disappoint.

The Used's essence is definitely still here, in this song and this music video.There's so many musical elements in this song you can match to many of their old songs, even if just the vibe or essence. Parts of it reminds me a little of Let It Bleed, and there's something for those of you who are preaching 'sell outs!' to think about :)

I listened to a podcast from Bert, "this album will be like nothing the used ever released, everytime we left the studio to go home we hug one another & told each other 'I Love You' there's just something different about the human touch & hearing the words 'I Love You' from another human being" . "during the recording process I (MEANING BERT) lost one of my very very close friends, this person was one of the most intimate relationships I had with another male". He also mentioned his ex-girl (Katie) that passed away. Bert had a very had life...a lot of loss but everything that has happened in his life, all the emotions he's feeling, he can put on paper (& we can hear them mixed with music) & to most that's the best therapy.....Love You Bert.

My son and i listen to this song almost on the daily . He simply loves it and i love it for what it translates with to my personal experiences in life from bottom to coming full circle to a little man that calls me a daddy and a beautiful women who calls me her husband ... oh how the times have changed from the dark to the beautiful. Never forget where you came from for the past is what makes you who you are today ....
I love the evolution in their music showing their diversity in sound while keeping their originality. If you know who they are (if you've ever listened to the album imaginary enemy) they couldn't be ever be considered sell outs. How they have grown to view the world and how people should treat each other and the things they stand up for, how could you ever see them as sell outs? They are not simple minded mainstream people! I think "Sold out" is the wrong term. Bert can't sing as well after his vocal chord surgery so they had to change their sound, then Quinn quit and the guitar got weird...therefore they are a different band. Without Quin and the screams what made them The Used is entirely gone. They should've just launched a new project honestly. Same way Brandon Urie shouldn't be calling himself Panic At The Disco anymore.
Quinn didn't quit, he took a break to take care of personal family stuff and was told that he couldn't return. Quinn was the driving force of the writing of music and this song just verifies that. As much as I don't like this song, saying that it isn't The Used is stupid. They're still The Used, they wouldn't drop over a decade worth of work to just 'rebrand' or 'rename' the band. That would be stupid from a business perspective.
This is the best guitar on a Used song since In Love And Death. Flat out their best song since those albums too actually. The fact that I don't care that there's not any screaming tells me the song is good enough to not need it.

They're music was there for me through feelings I was experiencing and were uplifting...on my darkest days listening to The Used, I'd feel powerful during a time of feeling powerless and this song is too perfect at giving me a comforting feeling that it's all good to be yourself through everything. Also, keep in mind that they're no longer the same band. Branden is and has been gone since after In Love and Death. Quinn left after Imaginary Enemy. When new band members enter.. the sound tends to change. Considering all of their albums have had a different feel to them as well.. this is nothing new to expect change from them. I, personally, love everything they put out. Been my favorite band since I was in second grade (2001-2002). Would I like to see something like their self-titled album or In Love and Death come out again? Sure. But no matter what I know whatever they put out it's gonna be great.

Generally when it's announced a member is taking a break it means they're no longer going to be in the band. He left to be in a band with his wife. Personally, he should have stayed with The Used. The band him and his wife are in isn't that great in my opinion.

Jeph's choice of using his Warwick thumb to record this track growls so beautiful in his poppy bass runs...him and Dan lock up soo tight to possibly have taken the rhythm section of the used to its highest peak..fucking love the bridge of this song with his effects

Have been a fan literally my whole life. So happy to see how far they've come! It makes me SO sad that Quin isn't in the band anymore but at least he's making music with his wife now. Love The Used and can't wait to see them!

I've been a hardcore Used fan since the beginning. They have been my favorite band for the majority of my life, since the self titled album. I met Bert in my hometown a couple years ago during the anniversary tour and was almost at a complete loss for words from excitement. As soon as I had heard the release of Over and Over Again, I knew this album would be spectacular. Bert I love your music, your energy, your passion, your raw emotions, and your love for others.
