Hey guys! Last week I decided to continue the succes of Undercover Raidleading live on stream, this week I decided to go back horde, which spawned the male panda DK, Thundercraig. As Thundercraig I managed to join a guild HC Darkvein run that didn't go quite as planned.

I just wish the chat would stop leaking it to the guilds until the end of the run so we could get more of the actual content lol

Honestly Max, I love the fact you stayed and help them. Part of the fun of this series for me is seeing how much a difference having a more experienced raid leader can make. I am watching to try and learn things to make my own calling better so seeing you step in and leading and explaining groups and helping people kill bosses they otherwise wouldn't is awesome.
I love the series. I only think it would go more smoothly if you did the undercover off stream

Totally loving this series. Especially every time you switch from joking around to just straight raid leading perfection. Keep up all the great content
Something I really noticed about this raid in particular is that they just sort of didn't have a raid leader. This video totally highlights how important a knowledgeable and commanding raid leader is.
You need to do one of these without streaming at least once. Your twitch community clearly can't stop being children, even when you take every measure to keep them from spilling the beans. We want to see an actual undercover raid lead.
On top of this, it will also be fun if you start a group once and pug players with low or no IO score and see how well they can do with proper raid leading. Will make great content and on top of that, give less experienced players a nice shot.

If they did know the whole time, it does ruin it. but honestly in the end even if the original bit / thing he was looking for didnt come to fruition; i still liked it. The ending where he showed guidance and just the general interactions with some of his fans (or stans as they called themselves lol) was wholesome and got em pass a piece of content they were struggling on. Either way Max is a funny / good ass dude. And ive just started watching his stuff.

I actually prefered this style where you were unkown at the start but then began raid leading later on. Its crazy how much of a difference it made when you took lead and the progress they made.

I think the people leaking shit kinda show how salty and toxic a lot of the WoW community is in general, I mean WoW is great but over all the people kind suck just step into Trade chat sometime and try not to die inside
That's not just the WoW community, that's twitch. Or any community for that matter. There's always some who tried to ruin it for the steamers. Have you ever seen a famous person who don't get any hate? That's just how it is sadly. The majority is usually great, but it doesn't take many to ruin it for everyone. For streamers it only takes 1 person to ruin it in situations like this.
Love the series Max. I really think you'd benefit more by doing this off stream but respect that you want to engage your fanbase in the process. In either case this is pretty entertaining! Keep doing you bro.

How close are you to killing? The thing that did it for us was moving Inerva way further to a clean space in the last 20-30%

I absolutely love this whole series. I've done a ton of pugs and I think you can avoid getting found out if you raid SUPER early in the morning and join some Aussie pugs. Look for players from Barthilas - I end up raiding with them a whole bunch because I work nights.

I actually like when he raid leads. Its fun to just go undercover and meme DPs, but the Raid leading is the content that helps me and entertains a little more, imo. I still watch though. Max is so wholesome.

It was cool that you helped them kill it though. I can see guilds being stuck on bosses like this for weeks sometimes, so what's an afterthought for you can be huge for them.

Since you get caught all the time, you should just get an invite to guild runs, where only 1-2 people would know and be the inside man. They could invite you to run with guilds that don’t watch your stream.

@limitmaximum yes lusting third jar is a real strat for some norm/heroic guilds if for whatever reason the guild's dps is too low. Months ago now, my guild had this problem with old, worse players and when the people still with us were MUCH less geared / worse at their characters. We would lust at like 35% to get some lust in the final 2 containers because, yeah, they sucked.
This was one of the best ones! Doing a good job to raise the profile and awareness of yourself and Limit guild.
You gotta do some of these off stream so chat dosent ruin it, it’d be soooo funny.

I sub for this stuff. I don't even play wow. I play FF but Raiding is raiding and I low watching a top level player go in and help. I don't even care that they know (though yeah its cooler they don't) its all in good fun and helps people enjoy the game.

the standing on the orb thing is the curse of "pro players" trying to act like other ppl cant do mechanics in my opinion. "stand on the orb so you cant fail", gets to hc and ppl do he same, shocked face. same in NW, ive seen, telling ppl to just stand on the tank instead of explaining the mechanic so ppl dont actually learn

This is the first video in the series where you actually did have to raid lead in order for them to kill the boss. This is by far your best vid in the series because it's actually what you were wanting to do. Join a struggling guild and then after a few attempts take over and help them out.

As much as I like this series, I think him bringing in overgeared players just trivialises the fight. The people he's "helping" are not learning anything. They're just getting that kill (or AOTC), but if they do that boss again next week, they'll likely keep failing for the same reasons they were before.
I really liked when you were raid leading them. It felt like they were actually learning the fight, because someone knew what to do, instead of trying the same stuff over and over again and not getting anywhere. I think you should do more of that (even out of the raid would be interesting) instead of just bringing Mythic raiders to a heroic boss.
