- This video is out there to show you how to either change out your H4 bulb or switch to the JNS Engineering Headlight, and although production quality isn't beautiful- anyone with an XR shouldn't mind too much 😁.
Anyways, hope you enjoy!

Good idea of mounting the stock tool pouch to the front fender
It does save some space 😁. I've since moved it back once I changed to the Polisport Freeflow fender I do miss it being up front 😁
I was thinking of adding some AUX lights to the high beam switch. One on each side of the main headlight, connected with the bolts that hold the headlight to the cowling. Maybe a future video would be "how to hook aux lights to high beam switch" Great videos by the way!
I like this idea 💡😁

Hey what's that red adapter called at 3:07 ?
I was wondering where and how the red wire was to be connected for the running light. Thanks
Glad it helped! 😁
This is very good, Just this side of blistering the garage door paint. NOW, what about a good LED tail light assm, and Turn LED signalz??
Admittedly for the tail light I just used a WPS light and replaced the stock bulb with an LED variant and for turn signals I have only done my front so far... I ditched the OEM front turn signals in favor of Tusk Handguards with integrated LED turn signals 😁
I'm talking about the red cable that start in 2:10 video, Where can I get the name?I am about to get the same lights? Could you please provide me the name, I'll appreciate..
Oh if you buy the JNS light it's included in the package 😁
@@one_terrabike3151 xdd lol Can you give me the page where you bought it?
@@one_terrabike3151 Hello, I have a xr650l 2019 and I want to put that lantern on it, but the one I bought did not bring me where to graft the two nuts to the sides where you got that lantern if you have the link for fabor if you could tell me it would be nice
@@tresprosalyramirez740 did you buy your light from JNS? They provide the bracket which has the threads / nuts built in.
do you think this is worth it the chinese ones are like 30$ and look the exact same
Truthfully- no. If you can fabricate you own bracket, the chinese led is the exact same. Rumor has it there are people making just the bracket as people found out JNS is just making a bracket, using a cheap chinese led, and selling it for wayyy more than it's worth.
So what did you think of it on the road? Can you see better?
I do indeed see more as it's brighter but last I checked JNS released a 15 LED version with a bunch of circles which is reportedly brighter. However, IMO this design is cooler and is still more functional than stock so I haven't made the switch.
@@one_terrabike3151 ...Thank you, and I agree, the one you installed looks much cooler.
i do like the look of the black background ...but plastic not glass headlight ??? Damn technology jst when backwards.
I must agree with you there 😔. Only plus is that plastic is a tad more resistant to shattering if you get roosted by a person in front of you. Thanks for watching!
I don’t know why It dosent come stock the lights are trash very outdated
I believe the XR is grandfathered in now, so if any changes were made they'd have to update the platform to meet current emission standards which I don't see being possible with a carbureted single cylinder. Just what I've heard though!
@@one_terrabike3151 I mean they can just say it’s for added safety because I’m sure these weak lights have claimed many lives
@@MotoRanch101 yeah, people out here dropping like flies
@@Rob_Basich your life must suck crack
@@MotoRanch101 my life will be fine as long as I don't fall victim to headlamp homicide.
SHINE IT ON THE GARAGE DOOR AGAIN SO EVERYBODY CAN SEE THE "HALOS". VERY ANNOYING WHEN RIDING AND YOU SEE THEM EVERYWHERE THIS PIECE OF SHIT HEADLIGHTS SHINES. JNS CURE WAS. DISCONNECT THE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT......I WAS LIKE SERIOUSLY:????? I REMOVED AND THREW IN TRASH CAN!!!
I got caught away from home in the dark and I couldn’t see anything on the highway so I took the backroads home. I don’t recommend this headlight.
You might've had the headlight adjusted too high, but I also found out JNS uses the standard chinese 4x6 light, so quality could be hit or miss.
