Greenland isn’t nearly that big. It’s just that you’re using the Mercator projection which shows countries closer to the poles much bigger than they really are

You are of course correct. Africa: 30.2 million square km; Greenland: 2.2 million square km. Greenland is therefore even a bit smaller than Algeria or the Kongo.
Never in my life will I forget the sight of India by night as we flew over it on our way to Asia a few years back. It was a brightly illuminated endless land mass stretching from one side of the horizon to the other, an endless sea of lights. Only since then have I had a rough idea of how vast and overpopulated India really is. It is unimaginable.
8:09 Greenland is Stretched because on a Mercator Map, the more north you go, the more it’s distorted. Really It’s just about smaller than the Arabian Peninsula. This Happens with Russia, Canada, Scandinavia and Iceland. The same happens with the bottom of the map, examples are Antarctica and Australia.

This is not a "lie" on maps; it's the Mercator projection. Look up the science behind it. You'd be surprised how hard it is to squash a globe into a rectangle.

The Greenland comparison to Africa was wrong. Greenland is actually very tiny compared to Africa. The Mercator Projection you used shows Greenland to be almost as big as Africa but that's not the reality.
