As someone with a condition affecting the stability of my entire body, mainly my connective tissue in my joints, I am *really* excited about the exoskeleton. I've joked about needing an exoskeleton to protect me for years now with how injury-prone and weak I have become, and to see it being a potential reality makes me hopeful for the future. I could actually lift heavy(ish) things like a gallon of liquid without risking dislocating, subluxing, or injuring my joints. I could have stability when I walk, without my joints sliding all over the place and malfunctioning, and I wouldn't have to risk sustaining serious injuries because of it.
I am all for these medical inventions you've mentioned and excited to see how they will transform the medical industry in terms of new treatments for conditions.
I am also excited for inventions that will conserve electricity and last longer, becoming more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
Other inventions like a fridge that scans its contents, however, seem like a waste of time and money. It's easy to look through a transparent container and tell if your food supply is running low. It isn't hard to make a grocery list and take the time to order/go get the foods you need. While this could potentially help chronically ill people with mobility issues and severe depression like myself, I don't see this as something humanity as a whole needs.

So for VR, you can get around EVERY ONE of the issues you specified with a quest 2
For motion sickness, it generally gets easier with time. Stay away from games that move you without your input.
For running into the wall. I prefer to play with large fluffy floor mat with bare feet so i can feel the texture change if i step off of it, it helps a LOT with running and punching things, while also not needing to see the guardian boundary.
For not punching grandma, The quest 2 has a feature to display any people or objects near you so you dont accidently bop her on the head.

A crucial part of cooking is tasting the food, smelling, and visual inspection. If the robot merely mimics the motions of a chef, then it will never be able to replicate the perfect gravy. It must taste sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami, as the ingredients will differ from time to time and how much the ingredients will brown. It will need to be able to spice food "to taste". Smelling and watching the food brown is also essential.
The robot is not likely to be restricted from getting a knife for safety reasons, but more because it is difficult to get a robot to e.g. peel and cut onions of different sizes and shapes without an Elon Musk-like robot with AI. It will come for sure, and I will love it :-). Thank you for this video.

Theoretically, Graphine could be used to create cables strong enough to build elevators that can be held in geosynchronous orbit. Thus making the launching of rockets obsolete. Materials could be hauled up the elevator to the station to build new stations or ships even from orbit. And yes this has been theorized for many years, just waiting on a substance strong enough to build the cables from to anchor the elevators...

The only downside to all of this amazing tech is that some people are too paranoid, and fearful to accept them for things like religious reasons or whatever. I'm all for enhancing my body, but I know some people aren't, but that doesn't mean they have the right to hold others back from enhancing themselves.

This is why the USA is behind on stem cell research. The mega-religious think scientists are growing babies in labs and killing them for research. That science could help people walk again, without robotic devices (but those machines helping people walk are wonderful, too!)

Blimey I was utterly enthralled by these! Some horrifyingly creepy like the robots, others outstanding in their creativity. The back of the hand one was my favourite although I'd use it for rude signs and to tell people where to go to (this is a family channel or I'd be more precise 😉🤣). Absolutely brilliant compilation Be Amazed, I'd love to see more like this 👍😊💖

I think the exoskeleton could be adapted for use in hospitals and nursing homes. They would be so helpful for nursing assistants to move patients to and from beds and chairs.
So many nurses ruin their backs and knees doing the Manuel labor of moving large and regular size patients.

The robot chef is neat, but could be better. Sensors inside the cookware, allowing the computer to know how hot certain areas of the pot are, could prevent burning food. I like this route, though!

Theoretically the self-repowering heart-shocker technology could be used with minor functions in things like those "future people robots" to little functions when the big ones move.
