Worst NHL games ever - basically every game released after NHL 2014. They are not worth the money EA asks for. Most games on that list don't even look like they should be taken seriously.
Dont know if you guys gives a shit but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all the new movies and series on instaflixxer. Been streaming with my gf these days =)
I bought the SNES just so I could play Stanley Cup hockey. I think I brought both back to the store the next day it was so bad. Did anybody even play test that game? Or atleast have it come with some meds so you don't get sick playing it.
not sure how old you all are but back when Stanl;ey cup hockey came out it was pretty good and something difference than EA...so I'll have to disagree there.
8:07 ROFL!!!! Actua Ice Hockey 2 is the WORST hockey game ever made!!! Wow...... That's totally sayin' somethin'...... When the game looked this goofy and ridicolous, and the fact that this is still one of my all-time favorite guilty pleasure games, just because it looked so AWFUL, it still speaks volumes! I wonder how you managed to come across this game in the first place, given that it never received a U.S. release.
NHL All Star Hockey on Saturn is one of the worst games I have ever played, and it’s exclusion from this list (even as an honourable mention) is surprising. I disagree with NHL Powerplay being on this list too. It was trying to do something different than EA, and while it was far from perfect, I thought it played pretty good.
Nhl Stanley cup was awesome! Was my first nhl game as a kid and mastered it on all star! The sick music at the end showing the ones that didn't make the list is from nhl Stanley cup as well!
I've played and run a roller hockey league for over 20 years, so yeah it sucks that the Street Hockey 95 "roller hockey" game is so bad. There is some roller hockey though in NHL Hitz if I remember.
I bought NHL Stanley Cup for the SNES the day it came out. It was exciting at the time with the mode 7 tech that we had never seen before. Played it a lot and enjoyed it but it didnt come close to EA NHL 92-96 for Genesis.
NHL Stanley Cup was modeled after NCAA Basketball, as both were developed by Sculptured Software. It definitely was more flashy, relying on the Mode 7 functionality of the Super NES. Unfortunately, it was too much rotation. Bally/Sente’s Hat Trick is pure novelty, which is why it often only cost one token/25 cents to play. It was never intended to be a deep game, and there’s definitely some allure to 1v1 hockey. I think this one gets a bit of a bad rap. I’m a little surprised that Konami’s ESPN National Hockey Night missed the cut. Underneath the above-average presentation value lurks a truly awful hockey game.
In NHL 18 19 and 20 when you faceoff your center doesn't even move unless you win the faceoff. Seriously how can they mess up faceoffs? Which are the main part of beginning a game! I've seen better faceoff implication on my Playstation 1! And holy shit, they pan to the crowd repeatedly after every fucking play missing chances for displaying stats or anything about the game.
I've Never Played Any Of These Games But Blades Of Steel Can't Be The Worst NHL Game. NHL 11 Has A Great Soundtrack But The Game Is Completely Overrated In My Opinion Its The Worst NHL Game Of All Time Slow As A Turtle Maybe Even A Tortious I Don't Even Think EA Fixed All The Problems When It Went Into Production I Think They Just Wanted To Make A Quick Buck Like All Of There Other Sports Games Shame On You EA 😔 Another NHL Game That Is Very Fun And Better Than NHL 11 Is NHL 12 But One Of The Biggest Flaw In The Game Is Spoiler Alert: (Youuuuu Can't Tackle!) Only Poke Check. I Personally Think NHL 11 & NHL 12 Were The Beginning Of The Great Fall Of EA Sports Games!

You mean 2013. NHL 14 was released mid-2013.
NHL Stanley Cup otherwise known as How The Hell Do You Score? Probably gotta puke first.
Dont know if you guys gives a shit but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all the new movies and series on instaflixxer. Been streaming with my gf these days =)
@Sonny Ashton yup, have been using instaflixxer for since december myself =)
The SNES wasn't ready just yet with the Mode 7 at least with NCAA basketball it actually look pretty darn good back in the day
NHL 15 should be #1. Pathetic Game by EA
I bought the SNES just so I could play Stanley Cup hockey. I think I brought both back to the store the next day it was so bad. Did anybody even play test that game? Or atleast have it come with some meds so you don't get sick playing it.
NHL 15 Was Not as Bad as Some Other Hockey Games on the Market
Sporty Gamer did you play it
Vurx it was my first nhl and that was awful
It looked great and played OK. But the number of features removed that we're in NHL 14 made the game laughably bad
Wayne Gretzky on NES is by far the worst hockey game ever invented.
No! It was so fun! Play the game when you’re wanting fun was fun the two times I played.
Wayne Gretzky hockey, to this day, is the only game that I have ever returned to the video club and asked for another game.
not sure how old you all are but back when Stanl;ey cup hockey came out it was pretty good and something difference than EA...so I'll have to disagree there.
On Actua Ice Hockey 2, some of the names are spelled incorrectly
I too have played roller hockey for 25 years. I still play street hockey 95 just for that.

Agreed. Powerplay on the Saturn was great.
I love hockey games
Nhl Stanley cup was awesome! Was my first nhl game as a kid and mastered it on all star! The sick music at the end showing the ones that didn't make the list is from nhl Stanley cup as well!
No mention of the Turbografx hockey game?
It was #6.
Fitting to put the Sabres on the thumbnail
Mutant League Hockey is one of the worst. Even the devs admit the game was rushed.
I've played and run a roller hockey league for over 20 years, so yeah it sucks that the Street Hockey 95 "roller hockey" game is so bad. There is some roller hockey though in NHL Hitz if I remember.
Yea! Unfortunately I believe it was only a mini game IIRC
You switched NHL Breakaway 98 and NHL Powerplay 96
Especially Powerplay on the Saturn.
Guess they only played the PlayStation version.
How was Old Time Hockey/Bush Hockey League not on this list?
If you give that game a chance it's really fun

It was honestly between ESPN and Blades of Steel for that 10th spot
Nhl 15 ??? You are tough ! It was not bad !
My favorite game is NHL 2003 on the GameCube especially the NHL trading cards in the game like cheat cards
All EAs laters nhl the last 15 years
To be fair, some of those mode 7 snes sports games worked. Ncaa basketball was weird and didn't look great, but it was actually a pretty good game.
Please review nfl blitz and nhl hitz more in depth
My favorite hockey game is NHL 99 on the N64
That version made our Top 10 best NHL games
NHL Stanley cup is a great game what are you talking about!!!
It is almost impossible to score a goal
Hockey video games ar too hard to learn.
NHL15 on the Xbox360 was good but PS4 and Xbox1 was a game to forget
(1) nhl 24
NHL Face Off 2001 is the worst
Do one of the best please!
Funny you mention it! th-cam.com/video/XHOWZPv0p70/w-d-xo.html
@@MikeStrawMedia how about non NHL hockey video games? (Like blades of steel and super blood hockey)
Nhl 15 is good
I was hoping you would call out nhl 20. Garbage

Another NHL Game That Is Very Fun And Better Than NHL 11 Is NHL 12 But One Of The Biggest Flaw In The Game Is Spoiler Alert:

I Personally Think
NHL 11 & NHL 12 Were The Beginning Of The Great Fall
Of EA Sports Games!
