And she hated her, because as she got older and more ugly, Snow White got older and more pretty and the Queen accused her of having robbed her of her Beauty. Her. Own. Mother.
I didn't know that! I bought a book of original Grimm's fairytales and it said stepmother, and so does the movie! You learn something new everyday I guess!!

Watching these I've realised that somehow these 'original' versions of the fairy tales are actually the ones I grew up with. This story is exactly the one I remember hearing as a child and so is the Little Mermaid one and the Rapunzel one and the Rumplestiltskin one too!
Was never brought up with any fairytales at all so when discovering this stuff when I was about 8 and I literally just thought “yeah, that tracks” I was a weird kid
I'm sorry if I'm overstepping my bounds by saying this, but Carrie, honesty your voice and your stance and everything is just so calming. If any other person tried to do this video, I'd just be really sad that this was the real story, but you're so amazing I was just laughing the whole time. Love you, Carrie. Cinderella is almost worse, when she's locked up in the tower her step-sisters try the glass-shoe (classic, as we all know), and of course it doesn't fit on either of them. But they weren't done there, oh no, they tend to go the extremes here. The CUT OFF the BIGGER PART of their FEET, and then it fits. But then Cinderella comes down and is like "oh no, wait it's my shoe", and she gets married with the prince at some point. Imagine if Disney made it exactly as the originals though! >:D Dear lord...

If the king is really alive, do you really think that he would let his wife eats his own daughter's organs? And suppose that he didn't know, would he be worried at all if his daughter, the princess, just disappears? What a horrible father.

Thankyou for talking about the original Snow White story! I think a lot of people forget that the Disney movies are kid versions of the Grimm Brothers stories and that a lot of the details were changed or left out.

Lips as red as blood? Blood red is usually a dark gloomy red almost black. I don't think it is a very attractive color.
