    my 17 old year son watched the video and was able to complete the job with relative ease. Some of the back coil plugs were tough to unplug. But the most important part was using the correct allen wrench. He tried using a 9/16" and could have stripped the head - we went back to the video and saw you grab the 6mm (which he had to go buy).

    Remove the shock tower sway bar as recommended in this video. I removed the bar and completed the job in 2 hrs. The 1st time I replaced the plugs, I did not remove the bar and I fought it for 4.5 hrs and I loss some blood in the process. Do yourself a favor - remove the bar.

      12FlyVA take the plug out and check the gap , if you drop the tip , youwill make different spark

    This video is so clutch. I have an 06 TL and my 6th Cylinder needs the coil and spark plug replaced. Now I know it's and easy fix for me to do

    When I replaced mine when it first started the exhaust threw out some white smoke one time but only when started it that’s it no more is it post to do it ?

    You forgot the locking plier on the descriptions bc my hydraulic doesn't work it looked like yours didn't either.

    If you have a torque wrench, torque it to 15lb/ft over torquing like it looked like he did can cause lots of issues

    Those backs ones ugh...pain in the back...I'd do the fronts first take a break...then do the back plugs the following day

      i did not disconnect battery and changed spark plugs. I am alive to tell the tale.

    Friend wants to change spark plugs. She realized how much the ignition coils are and I believe they are sold individually on her TL. Can she just get the plugs replaced and leave the stock coils on? The car runs good just that she was told she needs plugs being her car is over 100k miles

      If the coils are still working properly, don't touch them. You only replace them when they go bad. Just change the spark plugs.

      Unless the coils are visibly damaged or you have a cylinder misfire, no need to replace the coils.

      Most are pre-gapped by the manufacturer.

    You are wrong, you should never use anti seize on any spark plug, spark plug manufacturers even say the same thing, it's an old myth that is dying hard.

      Did Acura recommend the Bosch plugs? I thought they were super finicky about having to have ngk iridium lasers, or at very least Densos? Anyway, just curious as to how she runs with the Bosch's?
