TDUSC Beta critique: + Sense of driving and speed are good. + Always online doesn’t feel bad like some other players make it seem and feel. + Car physics are great, different cars do indeed feel different. + Hong Kong Island is amazing and can’t wait to see the whole map. - Graphics of the environment lacks details like trees from further distance. It feels out if detail and unfinished. Some vehicles, objects and surfaces also have like a weird black blur. - Graphics and reflections of the car is poor. There is like white shades on the car especially during day time and it’s just bad. - TDU for me has always been about luxury, immersion and lifestyle, but in the beta it don't really feel like that at all. They have to add houses, real estate, casino, clubs etc like in TDU2. It’s also important to add cosmetics, barbershop and clothing stores around the world and not only in the hotel in a future update. - In addition to my previous point, I think there is too much of the racing and competitive aspect. Maybe it’s just in the beta, but I hope this doesnt translate to the actual game. There must be more of the cruising, exploring, immersive and lifestyle aspect. - Steering wheel animation and degree is Poor. 45 degrees is far from enough. - I would like to see the whole steering wheel in cockpit view without having to press down the right stick of the controller. Can only see 1/3 of it. - For me, the car dealership experience is not like in TDU2. The dealerships are too expansive Which make them feel empty. It also looks more like some art museum rather than a car dealership with the futuristic interior and exterior look. - These are just small things but the ”Solar Crown” loading screen is just unnecessary. Also the countdown thing before the events in my opinion looks like I’ve seen it from a phone game. However I can’t really think of How it could look otherwise 😅. My final verdict is that I have a lot of suggestions in order for the game to improve, because I really care for this game and I love the TDU franchise. I see a lot of potential in this game and I am grateful for the developers putting in the work and are willing to co-operate with the fans to make the best game possible. ❤️ This was written during the VIP Beta test.
Will there be a manual + clutch option ingame? I don’t really like how the shifts sounds and I would like to make them sound how I want them to sound. Otherwise looks way better than a few months back!
Please dont buy. I don't want to cruise with whiny Gen Z babies. Steering rotation is NOT important for this game. Houses should be priority number 1 right now.
I hope there will be an option to add some exclusive terrain where you can drive an old Mustang through the wilderness plus rock a display case over bumps, this would add realism and even more driving fun because that's what this game is all about - driving fun is the most important thing!
Thank you that you reach out to the community. Make a game is a lot of work and a title like test drive comes with heavy weight. Thanks that you listen to us. We appreciate that. I look out for the release date of solar crown.

I tried the demo a few months back and wasn't truly impressed. But these improvements, wow! It looks like the game devs really took in the feedback and improved on them. The visuals are so much more better, the engine sounds amazing and the handling; all noticeably improved!
I think they forgot to the actual backfire explosions cause you can hear them but you cant see any of them

It looks so much better than the beta. Thx guys for this very important informations. Im looking forward to release ❤
"Improved" this and that, if you are relying on the community for testing, you might as well listen to their demands. Which will be a good thing
All improvements were because of community feedback
@JakubixIsHere yes I guess it's a good thing they listen, but on the one hand, have they really forgotten how to create a good game on the outset without the end user getting involved?
Why do yall complain so much? I can tell you guys are from this spoiled generation.
Don’t mind at all for them ! Just don’t buy the game ! Life is hard , go buy a helmet ..
@@jacobisaac9934 Its nothing to do with spoiled and the older generation complain about this bullshit more than the younger one does, they grew up with actual complete games with no microtransaxtions
Guys this just looks and sounds phenomenal you are absolutely doing justice to the name "Test Drive Unlimited" and I could not be happier to see it. I loved the VIP beta thoroughly and to know that was still nowhere near the final build, that the final will be so much better ... Wow.
This is what the game should look and sound like.and that sense of speed damnnnn reminds me of drive club days 😁👍🏾
Good progress! Only thing im concerned about is PC optimisation because when we had the demo a couple months back it wasn't great. I recognise it was an older build but its the one thing that has me on the edge whether to grab the game or not. Would like another PC demo to put my mind as ease but I know that's probably not gonna happen.
There is always steam refund
@@Louganda that is true
@@MaverickRNG they definitely improved the optimization at least a little
@@Bullet3Designs Yeah im guessing they have considering the PC demo was an older build but by how much is the question. I don't want another Forza Motorsport repeat.
Don't worry, Nvidia is not sleeping either, a new driver will probably be released for the premiere, which will additionally optimize the title for us, I hope so ;)
No offline game, no money. Its as simple as that
cope
That sense of speed is crazy good! Never seen anything like it in a game.
yea i literally like everything about this game and what ive seen, i just need steering animations in the cockpit view. and just hopefully you guys give us a reason to keep playing, something to keep grinding for, unlike motorfest where theres nothing to do after you’ve finished the playlists.
Engine notes match the movements of the car beautifully. That Koenigsegg was flying thru traffic like no man's business. Can't wait for the 5th. 🎉✌️
What about the casino? Will it be available at the release?
Should hear something about that either tomorrow gamescom or this week for sure.
@@asmoove007 gamescom would be great cuz I will be there :D
I haven't been this hyped for a racing game in like 7 years! Really looking forward to this!
same bro watching every tdu solar crown video🤫😱👀
@@jxsonfx Very nice! Me too! A friend of mine saw this latest one and was like, "Man I wish they'd hurry with this release." I was like, "Nah man, let's let them do their thing. We need a racer with longevity, I don't want another NFS: Heat or NFS: Unbound."
@@AaronVictoria Rest in peace NFS: Heat 🙏 a lot of potential wasted sadly
@@AxelRT07 Man... That's literally how I'd best describe that game. I really thought it would still be in an update cycle to this day. It just had so much potential and such a great core. Pure wasted potential. RIP...
The offroad gameplay was amazing
In my opinion, the terrain needs to be improved, for example, when it's raining and wet, there should be more dirt, mud, and when it's dry, more dust, sand, which would add even more realism... They could add fuel refueling in free mode and, for example, car washes
@@Paxi990 we haven't seen offroad gameplay in rain so maybe those are already there, and they said they have some ideas about havin a fuel system
0:35 1:49 2:16 la perfection dans les détails... l'équipe marketing, vous pouvez pas vous en empêcher hein ?
Bruh
Let’s go looks amazing 😍
Looks so good...but why only 8 people on the map? With only 8 people it is gonna feel so quiet spread out over the map.
Lacks one detail that we all cherish ; original speedometers !
Interiors are looking GREAT !
Sounds are on the right path..
Sense of speed ; omg, we're back in TDU2 ! It's NICE !
Unfortunately I played TDU 2 and in my opinion it was a failure when it comes to physics etc. I played it out of sentiment for TDU 1 where 2 had no approach even when it comes to some realism of driving vehicles...
We NEED a 900 degree animation for the interior!!
Lost interest after seeing the beta, but regained my trust after seeing this.
MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT!!
But please get rid of the always online, I want to play this game after the servers go offline. Don't make that mistake so the game will be unplayable some day.
Holy shit those physics look way better!
Hopefully it plays just as nice on keyboard. If Forza Horizon 5 can play nice even when disabling all assists (besides ABS), then so can this game.
Looking great guys! Can't wait to play this at launch 😁 I enjoyed playing the console beta and I can definitely see all the improvements that have been made since that build.
I'm seeing a lot of people asking for 900 degree steering wheel animation, but looking at most of the videos posted it looks like most people are using the external view for driving.
overall it's pretty but why do you show a graphical bug at 0:44 when trying to sold "Improved Graphics And Lighting"?
@@raytek8837 what graphical bug?
@@raytek8837 what bug, could you elaborate?
@@nagarajansubramani don't you see the sunlight blinking and disappearing suddenly on the buildings on the left? at 0:45 exactly
@@raytek8837 You're absolutely right. But I only noticed it after you elaborated on it. This game needs more polishing or it is going to end up a launch failure, and no matter how successful later with patches and updates the glory lost on launch will stick on, like with DriveClub and CyberPunk2077.
I’m definitely pre ordering this. Looks amazing
Awesome, please also add steering wheel animations for steering wheels like in The Crew Motorfest, which should be standard for driving games!
that agera sounds insane
Allways online in a Story Mode ?
😂😂😂
Ok , have fun without me
😂😂😂
thank you Kt and Nacon this is incredible, even the VIP beta was so good! Thanks for all the work and love given to this game
WOW the game looks way more improved than that Beta version
I wasnt particularly hyped for this, but im relieved that these changes were made
We really need some better racing games to push this genre forward
Well tdu1-2 started genre and tdusc would bring it to roots
Improved the graphics to now be the equivalent of a PS4 game. Great work guys. Well done!
TDUSC Beta critique:
+ Sense of driving and speed are good.
This was written during the VIP Beta test.
Did you even watch the video.. You just posted a whole ass review while the video is literally saying you played an older build.
@@DeejayJeanPI wrote that this was written during the VIP Beta playtest as overall thoughts on that build.
Will there be a manual + clutch option ingame? I don’t really like how the shifts sounds and I would like to make them sound how I want them to sound.
Otherwise looks way better than a few months back!
I'll buy after they add 900° steering wheel animation.
Beautiful graphics.
Graphics are already very good
@@JakubixIsHere nah taxis look like lego or something
Please dont buy. I don't want to cruise with whiny Gen Z babies. Steering rotation is NOT important for this game. Houses should be priority number 1 right now.
@@Monaco377 you know geny are adults right
@@JakubixIsHere Show me where I typed "Gen Y".
I hope there will be an option to add some exclusive terrain where you can drive an old Mustang through the wilderness plus rock a display case over bumps, this would add realism and even more driving fun because that's what this game is all about - driving fun is the most important thing!
Add 900 degree interior rotation in interior view and please remove always online. It's not too late to do it.
Thank you that you reach out to the community. Make a game is a lot of work and a title like test drive comes with heavy weight. Thanks that you listen to us. We appreciate that. I look out for the release date of solar crown.
Looks great ! Hope Steering Animation will be fixed and AI only races will be possible Can't wait for 5th Sep. !
Most of the time you will race against AI
I can listen to the tire burnout SFX looping lol
Much improved. Except for tire smoke; there should be *FAR* more when you're drifting or doing a burnout.
Im so psyched it's finally within a month of release, if it's not planned already in an update in the game's life, preserving the game with an offline singleplayer mode would be fantastic
They have eol plan
Please bring back Hardcore / Simulation mode !!! For us true sim racing car fans. ❤ oh and 900 degree wheel rotation
Great improvements all around. This is what I am talking about! Thank you Nacon for this development progress video. Game looks so much better and physics look lot improved as well.
Looking forward to a year from now.
Is there a full vehicle list we could check out?
This is what i need a long time. After years and years silly forza horizon gaming, finally i found something deeper. Preordered Gold, played closed beta and i feel so this is right game. Absolutly different feeling like if you buy nfs game.
Are we gonna have this traffic cars in final release, i played the demo and there was less traffic
Good to see you guys get km top of the nay slayers about the build version. The drifting looks great, but people will always find something to moan about.
This is the game I’m waiting for, maybe for 10 years. Already was hyped but now I’ve seen the drift physics im more then hyped. Can’t wait to drift in the M4 on my wheel 😍✌🏼
