Self investment. You can learn more about life if you find time alone and put all your energy into your mental development than you will in college. So much more to it, but you must make a conscious decision to be a better version of yourself. Study your pain, and learn your weakness so you can develop your strengths. College cannot teach you this.

Having mommy and daddy pay for your college doesn't either. People who are talented like me and kobe excell at life, and if we're fortunate, we get scholarships. Which is what I got. People who get stuff handed to them mostly wealthy families (1/10 will be successful) are the ones I see struggling in the real world, which is sad

I too have always had a curious mind, but I’ve spent my whole life being undisciplined, lazy, ran away at the first sign of failure, was a quitter, blamed others. He’s taught me a lot since he died, and has given me a lot to think about. (I only knew he played bb before he passed, knew nothing about his personal life). I’m going to do better.

  • @AlexanderEmmanual

Such a key thing he mentions here. Kobe understand's his strengths vs's weaknesses extremely well. He's not forcing himself to understand finances he's honing his creative talents and letting his partner handle what he's innately weak at.
