I created this song with the help of my pupils at the Geert Grote School in Zwolle, The Netherlands in 2004 for Comfort Stand's "Interplanetary Materials".
Later I made this video, with the cheapest webcam possible and scans of my favourite comic books and covers of Star Trek TNG paperbacks.

The first time I heard that song was on a party in a big garden. I instantly loved and shazamed it. At home I wannet to read the wikipedia entry of the artist... sadly I couldnt find any entrys about Jan Turkenburg. So I looked it up at TH-cam. And there it was :) I enjoy every listening and respect for the nice work espacially considering your limited amount of equipment :) Greetings from germany and keep up the awesome work!

I love this song. Its so cute. I heard it for first time on public radio station at night in a friends truck. We looked at eachother laughing so hard. But I fell in love with this song since.

I am a primary school teacher in London and I have an assembly coming up and we are doing it on Space travel and I was looking for space themed songs and I remembered this song from my old clubbing days and thought it would be perfect... Is there a dub version around that the children could sing along to? Obviously if that would be ok with you?

Jan, it's fresh, different, simply i love this song...it's a very good job...i like to wake up with when your tune being played on the radio (french and national)... Yeah Im listening to them now, they are also pretty interesting pieces, I have to listen a bit more but "in my spaceship" is my fave I thinkç I start to listen to it 3 times a day. I think you can shake the discos if you make more songs like these :) cheeers :))

Jan solved one of the problems I had for the last couple of years - I was wondering how and when to start educating my sister about electronic music, since she is only six now. This song is more than perfect, great job.
