I don't get some redactions in scp. Like, the location? Sure makes sense. The number of the group of 1919-1 that attacked the task force? What relevance does that have to where knowing that makes it confidential?
In universe reason: knowledge is power. If you say something like "discovered by Antimemetics Division in Turkey in 1991 as part of a routine population census" then anyone who reads your document knows the AD was active in 1991 in Turkey doing a population census, and that census was apparently "routine." If you redact that down to "discovered by the Foundation in the Eastern Mediterranean in 199X during routine operations" then the reader has a much worse idea of what the Foundation's"routine operations" actually are. A containment specialist or researcher might not need to know the specifics, anyway, so why risk a breach? IRL explanation: using vague details lets an author skim over "less important" parts of a story and jump straight to the Good Stuff. Instead of sitting down to figure out "exactly how many hostiles would it take to threaten this Foundation facility," the author can be vague with the numbers and skip right to the important info: "the facility was attacked by hostiles."
I like how it's a high stress situation where someone's being yanked but the voice line makes it sound like a guy upset over his parking spot being taken. Could've used a little more... Even if it isnt exact, itd be so cool, but heres to hoping one day someonell do it

As always, you do good videos, doctor.
Sincerely, Junior researcher Kierein, site 81.
I hate the cop-outs where the last log is just restricted. So much for that entity creating the clones huh lol
“Headphones Recommended”
Ok so they are just trolling at this point.
Imagine this as a cod zombies map
I don't get some redactions in scp. Like, the location? Sure makes sense. The number of the group of 1919-1 that attacked the task force? What relevance does that have to where knowing that makes it confidential?
In universe reason: knowledge is power. If you say something like "discovered by Antimemetics Division in Turkey in 1991 as part of a routine population census" then anyone who reads your document knows the AD was active in 1991 in Turkey doing a population census, and that census was apparently "routine."
If you redact that down to "discovered by the Foundation in the Eastern Mediterranean in 199X during routine operations" then the reader has a much worse idea of what the Foundation's"routine operations" actually are.
I don't know, emotion? Like, seeing shit forming on a wall is a little more scary than being confused over a Starbucks order.
Great acting!
am i the only one who always tries to narrate the intro along with volgun? this time i got it perfect and was quite satisfied lol
Yes you are
....alone
...cold
...forgotten
...full of regret
...longing for people who no longer exist...
...And yes I bet most people do the Intro narration in their head :)
@@einholzstuhl252 lol
Anyone catch what it said at the end?
no clue 😔
She says "Leave us"
I need that sweet permission to view that file
The beginning sound effect always reminds me of foamy the squirrel from illwillpress
Hotels the worst place to be even when it's not full of creatures trying to kill you.
Quick, play Hotel "Phone Booth" while the ethics committee isn't looking, you'll only need half the people you'd normally need
Damn, they really were ants.
This one legit creeped me out
Imagine a human scp who can build almost anything into a makeshift item that unrealistically functions, like a makeshift car without a transmission or a makeshift .38 caliber pistol but it can somehow fire any cartridge round, like a 50 cal round. Anyone who tries to use it just breaks apart or doesnt work at all.
Wow, this one is creepy.
Excellent!
I wish i knew how to code and model shit, imagine an awesome expedition like game, maybe played through the look of like a bodycam, whete you play as a dclass being sent in 1919 to do an objective, and you can unlock n use upgrades such as body armor, guns, melee, and alot, but it will make combat harder with enemies. Even if it isnt exact, itd be so cool, but heres to hoping one day someonell do it
One day, we will have an SCP article that does not redact the most senselessly redacted details. How hard would it be to just say they can roam in groups of up to 35 or whatever
