That front yoke piece especially would also be a nice place to add an embroidered motif. Glad the canvas fabric is soft. I rarely am brave enough to wear a solid white piece on the bottom and seldom on the top because I always manage to ruin those items with tea, chocolate or just mysterious grubby smudges of some kind.🥴 Nice project. 1:14:50 I couldn’t wait for the end of the video, I had to pause and say how amazing this sew along/tutorial is. I have this pattern on its way to me in the post & after seeing the meagre offering of a 13 minute ‘tutorial’ offered by McCalls TH-cam, I’m so glad your video was right after. I’m self taught/teaching but also have ADHD and I’m autistic & dyspraxic too. I often struggle to follow sew alongs and tutorials, I like videos that come with written instructions and pattens available too, they make it easier along with the video. But this is a good medium pace that’s easy to increase or decrease the playback speed. I must say, I prefer it as it is. I haven’t focused this well for so long and it’s so easy to learn when my brain isn’t full of sand anymore! I can’t wait to watch more of your videos and will be recommending you to my fellow spicy brained friends 😊❤ I’m making a mock up in muslin for medium-heavy weight cotton with red and grey pinstripes on black,

The acrylic craft paint holds up amazingly well in the wash. I painted a few different things and never had any trouble with it fading or coming off. I've always painted on Cotton so I don't know if that makes a difference.

Hello and thank you for watching! I think I'm finally getting used to my new iron. It does put out a lot of steam! It is heavy and the attached hose and cord can be cumbersome, but I'm getting used to it and it doesn't scorch, I bought mine on wawak.com. it's the rapid steam gravity fed iron. It does not have an auto shut off, some people like that some people don't.

Hello! I would use real leather it's a lot sturdier and will hold up to repeated punches. You don't want to use anything that the little blade will cut through easily. I have to even replace my leather every so often. Thank you so much for watching!

I was trying to remember where I bought it and I got it on eBay. There are some sellers that sell various types and weights in 10 yard lengths. And I bought several of them years ago. I don't know the seller's name but just do a search for perforated waistband interfacing on eBay.
