Thanks for showing your hiccups as well as successes. As a intermediate beginner I almost gave up because all the videos out there only show how well everyone does on each project. Thanks and keep up the good work.
It’s a journey and when you have a project where it just flows, don’t have to rip any seams out, and it’s done-what a good feeling. But then there’s other projects where you’re right back feeling like it’s the first day you ever sewed lol 😅 Sew on and thanks for being here!
I’m a beginner and the seam ripper is my friend but I always tell my daughter you don’t start out being great it takes years and years of practice and even then always more to learn. My daughter hobby is gymnastics and mine is sewing.
Sweetheart, the s9818 dress is beautiful what a great job you did putting it together. I have missed you, but it is summer and, so many other ways to spend our time.

I liked this style video, although I don't mind any extra chatting. You did a great job on all of your "makes". I like how you are fearless with your sewing and just try things. That's something that I struggle with. And, I appreciate the way you added in an extra panel whenever it was needed. I cut out a dress that is too small through the hips (I'm a pear shape). I don't know what I was thinking when I cut it out. 🙄 Maybe I can try that trick, if I have enough fabric. I just have to figure out how to do it. 👍 Thanks for the video!
Hi! Thank you!! Sewing is definitely a test of creativity : ) Sometimes when I realize a pattern is going to be too small, I actually just add an entire 2 inch panel of the same fabric or an "accent fabric" down both sides and that has done the trick. I've even layered that extra panel with lace over it as a design element so maybe that could work?! Happens to us all hehe. Happy sewing and best of luck on your project!!

It gave me an idea of what I can do with my linen panel fabric. That top is ADORABLE!! I absolutely LOVE the 90s Vintage wrap dress. Lavender is definitely your color. I have that pattern and I'm dying to sew it up. You look fabulous in that dress. It would be cute to wear with tennis shoes and a hat too! S9918 is STUNNING!! Gorgeous choice of fabric and the fit is perfect. I love the back shirring. The McCall's M8431 Vintage wrap top is beautiful with that curtain fabric. All your makes are wonderful. I love ric-rac trim too. So retro. Glad to see you back! Can't wait to see your sewing room tour. Have a great week! 🤗🥰

You present the video really well and i love that you twirl around in the garments for a while rather than a quick flash which you cant see the details.
