Damn, I can’t keep up with all these products. Every time you feature one I want to go out and buy it! If I did that I’d have my own warehouse by now…lol😂🚗
I just bought this product after watching this review. I love this channel, the kit comes with 2 foaming blocks, and foaming Spray bottle, they must have updated their kit.
Yes, Geist has recently upgraded their kits with more value for money, including a bigger size cleaner as well as the pump sprayer. Welcome to my channel. I've been following your channel for a little over a year now and I have shelves full of products that I use weekly. Mainly from car pro and DIY, Memorial Day weekend here in the States. I applied Hydra 2 light, I followed all your tips on washing the car properly and decontaminating and also used a synthetic clay towel my car is brand new, so I did a Polish with reflect the car looks amazing, and the way the water just falls off the car is unbelievable. I would also like to add. I wouldn't have been able to do this if it weren't for your videos.
That's awesome! Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad to see I can help bring my viewers' detailing game to the next level!! And it's so fun and relaxing to detail your car. :)
Thanks Pratik! I appreciate it. How did you discover my channel by the way? Welcome to my channel. @@PanTheOrganizer that’s a loaded question lol.. both of my BMWs I have a different system for each.. my M4 individual is full Marino leather including the Dash. I purchased my car new and I bought the Swissvax leather care system. It’s been on the leather now for about almost 2 years.. but my daily go to product is Carpro innerQD.. love how it leaves nothing behind and gives the interior nice citrus sent. Our 2022 X3 M40i has BMW synthetic leather, which I believe is Syntech. It’s color red. Because it’s not real leather, ended up using colour lock system and putting a an abrasive protecting to help with ware. This is our family car. But it just really depends on the person. I feel that coatings like Carpro, Leather, and Gyeon.. you could use on brand new leather to help with abrasion, but I would highly recommend once the leather starts as you stated looking a little oily it’s time to give it a clean to get back to that matte finish. I like the idea of not using toxic chemicals on my car interior.. looking forward to trying it.
Hi Pan, Great explination and demonstration of this product. I want to protect my car seats on my Tesla Model S. Having the product links really makes this video useful. Keep up the great work!👍
Appreciate companies putting out environmentally friendly products and thank you for presenting them to us. Changed over to Bilt Hamber and will be ordering some Geist soon.

Hey jlb3675 I'd recommend you don't steam clean Leather as this can speed up the wear of your hide removing essential oils and moisture. Simply clean using the rapid cleaner and brush 👍🏻
I wouldn’t recommend that unless the seats are in a state of disarray and super filthy. It’s always best to use multiple passed of a safer and gentler method.
Pan, Another awesome video. I truly appreciate all your time & effort you put into every video. Pls keep the videos coming. I will be buying Geist for my detail business.
I use Gyeon & Carpro. But I was wondering if you better or alternative coatings with better UV protection. I’m hoping I will meet you in person at the next SEMA. I was unable to make last year. Thank you
Ceramic or graphene coatings are your best option for the exterior. For interior plastics and trim, 303 Aerospace Protectant and CarPro PERL diluted 1:5 are my go-to’s.
Really an amazing video bru. I’m pumped to see the performance of this kit. I’m grateful that you have these epic product breakdowns. I think that you make the industry better with every video drop.
My car use to be owned by a smoker (didn’t get to inspect in person before buying) has red leather and was treated with something that is causing it to bleed. What should I do to fix it ?

I like that sprayer, very innovative. I have a 2017 GMC Sierra Denali that I had used the colourlock system on a couple years ago or so when you had first introduced it. how does this perform compared to it and would there be any issues I need to look out for? I have not used anything since on the seats besides basic interior cleaner such as the hybrid solutions inside job and mist interior cleaner, also tried a mix of ONR as well. I use the truck every day for work, and I am in and out quite a bit. for my job I am on construction sites, I use a lot of lubes such as penetrating lubes grease guns, chain lubes, gas for small equipment, etc. and sometimes these things may transfer onto my clothing and into the vehicle, but I do wipe it down usually on the weekends. color of interior is black, so it hides a lot of staining, but my main concern is preventing the dreaded cracking. thanks for the long form deep dives into the technical side, we really appreciate it.
I purchased Geist 3 Minus for my 2022 Lexus IS 500 FSP Nuluxe white faux leather. Perfect, thanx for the heads up, Pan! I had been studying the Colourlock products which provide the same service as this new Geist 3 Minus kit. I found Colourlock's products very hard to figure out the initial application steps, and the subsequent treatment steps. Very confusing, even after watching many TH-cam videos and actually emailing Lederzentrum. Maybe the directions are not clear because of the German to English translation...or maybe they struggle in this marketing department? Anyway, congratulations to Geist for apparently recognizing these "holes" in the Colourlock product line and developing equal performing products, making which kit to purchase straightforward, the initial application instructions easy to understand, as well as subsequent re-applications schedules and application clear and simple...and making the products readily available in the US and at a very competitive price point. Thanks again Pan for the review. I'm sure Colorlock's products are top-notch, but I just would never have been 100% sure if I was using the products correctly.
Doing a gyeon synchros install tomorrow. I don’t have an sio2 spray sealant on hand for after application, can I use p and s bead maker instead ? Applying the coat on a Tuesday but forecast says it will rain on Thursday and Friday.
Thank you pan, unfortunately I’m a year late for this video but very helpful. I’m actually going back to finish my detailing job on this 1998 Acura RL which just started cracking so I’ll give u some feedback later 🤝

I followed your recommendation and bought the Minus-3 kit. Just finished cleaning and protecting my brand new car. What are your thoughts on applying DIY Detail Interior Ceramic on top of this?
Would you use this on the other interior components that are leather? I have a 2024 Corvette Z06 and the dash, door panels, and center console are all leather. Thanks in advance!

So I have a question for you. How do you get the specks of dirt and debris out of the small holes in ventilated seats? I have black leather in my 2021 Dodge Ram, and the white specks in the ventilation holes annoy the heck out of me! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
A toothpick is your best friends. Or a silicone tipped gum stimulator tool like this: amzn.to/3MR3OTq There aren't miracle solutions to that other than elbow grease and time.
@Pan The Organizer thank you for the quick response to my question! I love your channel, you give such a scientific explanation to detailing which makes me understand the process at a much deeper level. Thank you for being so thorough!
Just watching the Geist leather cleaning video. Great. Do you like to use that also for steering wheel? And do you recommend this for denim transfer cleaning/removal. 2 New BMW X5's
Yes you can apply this to all your interior leather surfaces. And yes this will clean dye transfer. Sometimes if it's super dirty, a few rounds of cleaning might be needed. You can also let the cleaner dwell on the surface for 30 minutes before wiping, it will break down the dirt, body oils and dye transfer even more.
Hey pan! I can’t keep up with you man, I’m in Calgary and I’m just about to go visit this shop to get this product. I’ve been using gyeon for years all because of you. Keep it up!
Hi Pan, I just tried it on my bmw 7 series as yours , on the door handle , and it removed the dye tan unfortunately and damaged it. Although there was no any dirt I just wanted to clean and protect it only.
Did you try reaching out to Geist? You can contact them by either emailing info@leathercare.com or by contacting the owner directly at ram@leathercare.com
Hi Pan, ya I've contacted them and we are trying to solve this , actually I consider it my mistake hence I didn't test it on a small part, but I've saw the directions and multiple videos , but this is a risk that I would avoid in future. Thank you dear
Thank you. Just saw a video you did on cleaning a steering wheel with another product. Do you see it about equal to Geist? Would there be any point to having both? They seem equally good
There are many quality brands, so I do lots of tests to give my viewers options. For my top picks, always refer to my yearly awards video here: th-cam.com/video/KRv7vKsuliQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=RlFYx2rMRv3OI-UL
Personal experience: 1. I tried it on wife’s 23 Cayenne (Red leather). 2. Tried it on my 16 FR-S RS2.0. 3. Tried it on semi-new wife’s purse! * The cleaner is too strong, could clean well but also removed a little of the color around the edges and cracks of the FRS !!! (Same thing on the purse) * I couldn’t exactly feel any difference before and after the conditioner. * The protector made the leather a little stiff but it feels thicker and protected so I am ok with it even though it is not as smooth and flexible as before. * I prefer to use DIYDetail interior ceramic on dash, door panels (not the handles), and where ever is not touched too often specially where ever is affected by sunlight (like the dash). Because I think Geist is not a good UV protector.
Thanks Pan for another great video. Can always count on you keeping us up-to-date. Can you share what head cam model you're using? Is that a GoPro model?
Just tried the cleaner and conditioner this morning. Some questions: Do you have to wipe off the cleaner? Wipe off the conditioner? How long after applying the conditioner can I sit on the seats?
Hi Art. Yes, once you are done cleaning with the leather cleaner, you have to wipe off at the end, as per the instructions. If you used the conditioner, I'm assuming you bought the 3+ kit for leather older than 3 years? After the conditioner, you must let the product soak in for a few hours, preferably overnight, before you apply the dye and friction blocker. Once all those steps are done, you let the surface dry, but they don't mention any specific curing time so you could sit on the seats after you are done (and the surface is dry). I would still wait at least 4 hours before sitting on them or driving, as an insurance policy.
On a brand new car, 3 Minus is the kit you want. Not 3 plus. 3 plus is for cars older than 3 years. Yes you can use the kit on any leather, vinyl or vegan leather surface.
@@PanTheOrganizer My mistake Pan it a used Tesla new to a friend again sorry for the misinformation. The inside is in excellent condition.(Snow White) still get the minus? Thank you
Yes. Most chemicals are only stable for 1-2 years if not frozen and kept in stable conditions anyways, so you would have to buy a new kit at some point down the line.
Pan - thanks for all the great videos! A wealth of information. I didn't catch any mention of the Geist 3 system being hydrophobic? If it is not, would you still recommend this over something like CQuartz Leather?
A great demo as always. I appreciate that the chemistry is different than Colourlock, but there is a lot of similarity -- 3- / 3+, cleaning product, protecting product, etc. Also, their brush looks identical on camera to the Colourlock brush. August/September is still a long way off, but I look forward to how they all rank in your top 3 video.
the owner of Geist “ram” used to be with colour lock for years So he basically took what he learned there into his company I personally will stick to colour lock
Pan, hope all is well. I noticed this video was from February 2023 and you mentioned you'd have a followup with Geist and how it's been performing in around 3 months or so. It now being the end of August I was curious to know how it performed over this time before I purchase it. If you did make a followup to this and you have a free moment and could share the link with me it would be greatly appreciated. I will be getting Gyeon Leather cleaner and Leather coat tomorrow but I can return those to amazon if you feel this is a better choice. I use many Gyeon products and like them but the Geist being plant based and water based sounds like a much better product for leather (and the environment) over time than one with synthetic chemicals, but I could be wrong. I wanted to reach out to you to seek your advice since you have so much experience with all these products. So if you could 1) let me know your thoughts on how Geist is performing and 2) if you'd recommend it over the Gyeon combo I mentioned above. If you feel things are equal as far as performance and ease of application are then I'll go with the Geist for its more natural approach. Thanks as always.
This combo took first place in my most recent car detailing products awards so yes it would be my pick. It did live up to my expectations and yes it should easily last three months. If you want more durability, 10-12 months, you’ll have to look at a lesther coating in glass bottle.
Si tu regardes bien, je fais tout le siège au complet. J'ai nettoyé le haut, puis le bas. J'ai protégé le haut, puis le bas. Bien évidemment qu'on fait tout le siège. On nettoie, puis on protège. Si tu parles de l'arrière du siège, oui. Tu nettoies toutes les parties en cuir, et tu protèges toutes les parties en cuir.
Hey Pan, was wondering what product do you suggest for a quick spray-on/wipe-off of a sealed and waxed paint in between washes to get rid of light dust?
Yasou Pan, thank you for another great video. You been an inspiration for cleaning and taking care of my car. I have a 2014 LTZ Chevy Malibu with leather seats - like I really need them in Florida - LOL. I am the only driver. Which products would you recommend - the GEIST Plus 3 or the Colourlock over 3 years old? Sincerely, NIKOS
the cleaner is good, but on my black car seats after i use the conditioner they looked a bit oily even if after using the cleaner they look mate like they have to be
Hey Pan, love the channel. It’s reinvigorated my desire for detailing again. So I’m getting a new car soon, could I suggest a video that I don’t believe I’ve seen you cover yet? Pre-PPF prep! I’d love to see your process and products used before a car is ready for PPF.

@@PanTheOrganizer appreciate the response Pan! Have you seen the Blackout Tinting’s video on PPF? They show and prove that the polish portion is unnecessary as the PPF hides any marring or fine scratches.
Hello pan. Hope you doing well. I've just gotten the kit and I've a question. My steering wheel is leather as well as some of the dashboard. Can I apply it to them? Or just the seats?

How is the product compare to COLOURLOCK SMOOTH LEATHER MILD CLEANING AND CONDITIONING KIT or GYEON Q²M LEATHER SET MILD? Which one is more suitable for me if my car is almost 3 yrs now?
They are are similar in terms of performance, you can't go wrong. Pick the one that is the less expensive for you to purchase, and enjoy using it. If your car is almost three years old now, go for the Geist 3+ kit. Or the Colourlock Smooth leather kit, for cars older than 3 years.
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks for your quick reply. I do have a follow up question. My car seat have combined leather and ultrasuede, should I use different product(Dr.beasley suede cleaner) or one product for all?
Thanks Pan. Great review as always!! I am looking for a product to rejuvenate an older BWM seats. It looks like though the 3+ kit is mainly for genuine leather only or else the conditioner product is not applicable. I am understanding this package correctly? If so is there a product you would suggest for older seats that have hardened over time?
If I just purchased a new car when should I do this? I do quick spray and wipe with . Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather 3-in-1 Spray weekly? Is this more protection than that or I can I use both?
As soon as you take delivery of a new car, that’s the best time to immediately start protecting the surfaces both inside and outside. Watch what I do to a brand new car in this video: th-cam.com/video/gohks8xP5NY/w-d-xo.html
Both or on par as being top tier leather care brands. The Geist leather sealant is every bit as good as Colourlock Leather Shield. Also, Geist is secretly working on a longer term 1 year lesther coating (like Colourlock Top Life) so it should be interesting!
Based on your endorsement, I would like to give this product a try. Do you have any idea how much UV protection it provides (if any). I am referring to the -3
The dye & friction blocker doesn't contain UV blockers. Most leather coatings and sealants are meant to protect against friction damage, dye transfer, fading and cracking, and make cleaning easier.
Hi Pan i need your help!!!! In France i can’t find Buff and Shine Uro-Fiber polishing pad, you can tell me please another pad that i can use with 3D ONE Cutting compound and finishing polish for One Step polish job Thank you in advance
"PAN THE ORGANIZER" love your videos and they are well explained. I have mixed feelings about the Geist product vs. traditional cleaners and conditioners. I am torn with my decision: every 3 months or longer term protection? I own a Mach-E and it's time to clean badly...
That’s up to you to decide. A 3-month leather sealant or a one year leather coating. Both are great options. The important here is to clean and protect the leather surfaces.
Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on TH-cam as we surpassed 870,000 subscribers and we have over 110 million views! I have been detailing for 26 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers. You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
This is meant to be applied every 2-3 months. It's a leather sealant, not a leather coating. Geist makes great leather care products, and I heard they're working on a leather coating coming soon.
No. This is the actual cleaner and protection. With leather seats, you have typically one of two options for protection: a leather coating (lasts 10-12 months) or a leather sealant (lasts 2-3 months). The Geist is a leather sealant. I have a few videos on leather coatings on my channel, like this one: th-cam.com/video/CuN77nz8Ex8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hxLaNXITSkUNc1Yx
You still clean your leather every three to four weeks or as needed depending on your level of dirt. You can use a quick interior detailer like the Geist one, as long as it’s compatible with leather or vinyl surfaces.
I purchased the Geist 3 plus car care kit based on your review and recommendation, and after one application, the spray nozzles will not let the product come out. I called several times and no response from the company.
Hi Jeff. I reached out to the owner Ram, and explained your issue. His reply: "Since the initial launch we have changed sprayers which are much better and have had no issues. Please can you comment saying feel free to contact Geist by either emailing info@leathercare.com or by contacting me directly on ram@leathercare.com" So you can reach out to him directly. I hope this helps!
Wow . Good to see Ram involved here !! Have been a fan of his detailing videos from another brand . Any leather care brand that he is associated with , one can blindly start using it .
Excellent price, and seems like a better product than colourlock which was the industry leader. They would knock it out the park if they make a 1 ye coating!!!! Pan you rock!
If you use leather care specific products from reputable brands, you can’t damage the leather. Keep in mind, modern leather has a transparent clear coat on top to protect it. Just like the clear coat on your paint. And just like the paint needs protection, leather also needs protection.
Pan I have a question, can I use green star mixed GSF to help remove traffic film, without stripping off ceramic spray and rinse sealants? I want to refrain from using stripping washes like carpro reset, because I have found that it strips off silica sealants.
Hi Pan, just wanted some advice. I've put ceramic coating on my windshield but my washer fluid stripped it off. Do you know of one that wouldn't, that's also available in Europe? Thanks
What glass coating did you apply? A good one would be Soft99 Glaco Ultra. Watch my video: th-cam.com/video/usdM-TrT7fg/w-d-xo.html Preparing the windshield is crucial. You will have to strip the old one off. And then do the steps for the new one.
@@PanTheOrganizer I just use regular ceramic coating, cquartz 3 is what I used, but I didn't put a layer of reload on top. Didn't know there was a separate coating for glass. Thanks!
Hey pan, I just got my uncles used car. It has fake leather/ vinyl for the seat and around the dash and door trim. I just ordered this product to use. My question is what should I use as a weekly maintenance clean after I put this down? Should I use the giest surface cleaner weekly on my fake leather/vinyl or do you recommend another product for a weekly maintenance to clean on fake leather/vinyl?
Pan, these products look great, but I don't see anything about UV protection in either the conditioner or the dye and friction blocker. I've got a carerra red full leather interior in a 2014 Porsche Boxster that I need to protect against UV fading (Seats, steering wheel, dash, door cards). I would like to maintain the matte finish that the Geist products would leave, but I've got to get some UV protection on there. Are there any products you can recommend that block UV, are safe for leather AND leave a matte finish?
@@PanTheOrganizer That's great! Thanks for checking and replying. They should add that to the marketing materials a bit more prominently. I think it will help their sales. Not a lot of UV blocking products that have a matte finish (that I've seen anyway). Ram has helped me with leather refresh coloring in the past via Instagram. Hope this a successful venture for him!
Pan I have a question? So I live in the tri state area and have car detailing chemicals in the back of my SUV, and they froze what should I do? And how do I prevent this from happening again? Ik I should take them inside but is there any way to keep them in the back?
I am not mobile so you’d have to ask a mobile detailer that works in cold temps. But one thing is for sure, products shouldn’t be stored in freezing temperatures.
Hey Pan, are these safe to ship in the winter? Just saw those online at Carzilla but shipping from Calgary to Quebec means products usually arrive frozen.
My understanding is most products can survive one freeze/thaw cycle with no issues. But there can be some exceptions. I would write to Carzilla and ask them to make sure if I were you. I think they also have a FAQ about that topic on their website.

I just bought this product after watching this review. I love this channel, the kit comes with 2 foaming blocks, and foaming Spray bottle, they must have updated their kit.
Yes, Geist has recently upgraded their kits with more value for money, including a bigger size cleaner as well as the pump sprayer.

I love inspiring my viewers to go out there and enjoy detailing their cars! You got it Marc! 😁👍🏻
Excellent video love products that are non-toxic… I will be adding this to my collection
Thanks Brian! What’s your go to leather protection at the moment?
Bought the 3 Plus on your recommendation. Thanks for a great review.
Enjoy!
Hi Pan, Great explination and demonstration of this product. I want to protect my car seats on my Tesla Model S. Having the product links really makes this video useful. Keep up the great work!👍
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for the positive feedback Richard!

Seems like a n awesome product. Just applied DIY Interior Ceramic . I’ll put this on my watch list.
You’ll like this for sure.
Seems like a quality product. I was wondering if you see any value in steaming the leather first to open the pores and then brush on this product?
Hey jlb3675 I'd recommend you don't steam clean Leather as this can speed up the wear of your hide removing essential oils and moisture. Simply clean using the rapid cleaner and brush 👍🏻
I wouldn’t recommend that unless the seats are in a state of disarray and super filthy. It’s always best to use multiple passed of a safer and gentler method.
Pan, Another awesome video. I truly appreciate all your time & effort you put into every video. Pls keep the videos coming. I will be buying Geist for my detail business.
Thanks Tim! I appreciate the feedback!
Pan, I’m in vegas. Any products you recommend for UV protection interior & exterior. Thank you
Plus ❤ your real time videos
I use Gyeon & Carpro. But I was wondering if you better or alternative coatings with better UV protection. I’m hoping I will meet you in person at the next SEMA. I was unable to make last year. Thank you
Ceramic or graphene coatings are your best option for the exterior. For interior plastics and trim, 303 Aerospace Protectant and CarPro PERL diluted 1:5 are my go-to’s.
When I finally get my Sparco QRT performance seats this is what I'll use. Thanks Pan!

Great video Pan! Another car care brand brought to my attention thanks to you! Can't wait for the next upload👌🏻

So how do I use the conditioner as a mobile detailer I don’t have 24+ hours. Also if I use the rapid one would I put the friction one after that?
Thanks Boyd!
Super video Pan. The products look awesome and I'll definitely give it a shot once my current supply of Gyeon leather care is gone.
Thanks Archie!
Doing a gyeon synchros install tomorrow. I don’t have an sio2 spray sealant on hand for after application, can I use p and s bead maker instead ? Applying the coat on a Tuesday but forecast says it will rain on Thursday and Friday.

I followed your recommendation and bought the Minus-3 kit. Just finished cleaning and protecting my brand new car. What are your thoughts on applying DIY Detail Interior Ceramic on top of this?
Don’t do that. It’s not needed and you can’t ensure chemical compatibility. You already used a top tier leather specific product. 👍🏻
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks! That's what I was thinking but wanted to ask the master!

A toothpick is your best friends. Or a silicone tipped gum stimulator tool like this: amzn.to/3MR3OTq
There aren't miracle solutions to that other than elbow grease and time.

Personal experience:
(Same thing on the purse)
* I couldn’t exactly feel any difference before and after the conditioner.
GoPro Hero 9 Black
@@PanTheOrganizer thanks!
Could you please do a review of Dr. Beasley’s Vegan leather kit and compare them with the Geist kit 🙏
Pan I’m going to purchase this product for a new Tesla. Can you use this on the dash board and door panels? 3 plus is the one I’m getting. Thank you
On a brand new car, 3 Minus is the kit you want.
Thank you

Go for the 3 Plus kit at that point.
off topic question but if i were to dilute my rinse-less wash in my sprayer and keep it in there for a few months at a time would it go bad?
You should be good for many months as long as you use distilled or demineralized water.
Hi Pan… how often do you protect/ clean your leather seats , with either this product or a colorlock product in a calendar year?
Actually Listen to the whole video and you'll find out
Great video Pan top work chap 👏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks!! How did you discover my channel by the way?
Hey Pan, amazing video as always but I had a question. If my car clocks over 3 years old, do I switch from using the 3 minus kit to the 3 plus kit?
It's a leather sealant, so yes the leather will be hydrophobic.
Would this be closer to a mild or strong cleaner?
The standard is mild, the Pro version is strong.
A great demo as always. I appreciate that the chemistry is different than Colourlock, but there is a lot of similarity -- 3- / 3+, cleaning product, protecting product, etc. Also, their brush looks identical on camera to the Colourlock brush. August/September is still a long way off, but I look forward to how they all rank in your top 3 video.
the owner of Geist “ram” used to be with colour lock for years
So he basically took what he learned there into his company
I personally will stick to colour lock

Hey Pan, was wondering what product do you suggest for a quick spray-on/wipe-off of a sealed and waxed paint in between washes to get rid of light dust?

The process is exactly the same as before applying a ceramic coating. You wash, iron remover, clay if needed, machine polish, IPA and then PPF.
If you watch the Chicago Auto Pros TH-cam channel, they have tons of PPF videos, as it’s one of their specialties.
@@PanTheOrganizer appreciate the response Pan! Have you seen the Blackout Tinting’s video on PPF? They show and prove that the polish portion is unnecessary as the PPF hides any marring or fine scratches.

They are are similar in terms of performance, you can't go wrong. Pick the one that is the less expensive for you to purchase, and enjoy using it.
If your car is almost three years old now, go for the Geist 3+ kit. Or the Colourlock Smooth leather kit, for cars older than 3 years.

Both or on par as being top tier leather care brands. The Geist leather sealant is every bit as good as Colourlock Leather Shield.
Also, Geist is secretly working on a longer term 1 year lesther coating (like Colourlock Top Life) so it should be interesting!
But… is Geist what you are using currently in your Turbo S?

The dye & friction blocker doesn't contain UV blockers. Most leather coatings and sealants are meant to protect against friction damage, dye transfer, fading and cracking, and make cleaning easier.

I may have missed this but how long does the protection last?
2-3 months
"PAN THE ORGANIZER" love your videos and they are well explained. I have mixed feelings about the Geist product vs. traditional cleaners and conditioners. I am torn with my decision: every 3 months or longer term protection? I own a Mach-E and it's time to clean badly...
That’s up to you to decide. A 3-month leather sealant or a one year leather coating.
Both are great options. The important here is to clean and protect the leather surfaces.
@@PanTheOrganizer Since I like to clean my car often, I'll go with the Geist product. Thank you so much for responding so quickly...
@@PanTheOrganizer me again... do I need an extra product after using the GEIST. SURFACE & SCREEN CLEANER?

You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
No.
How is the product longevity ? And how it's compared to interior ceramic?
This is meant to be applied every 2-3 months. It's a leather sealant, not a leather coating. Geist makes great leather care products, and I heard they're working on a leather coating coming soon.
So do you use this after you put a coating on your leather seats
What is the best leather coatings in your opinion? I have red leather seats
Any kind of maintenance on the 3+ care kit? Or just set it and forget it until it needs to be reapplied?
You still clean your leather every three to four weeks or as needed depending on your level of dirt. You can use a quick interior detailer like the Geist one, as long as it’s compatible with leather or vinyl surfaces.
I purchased the Geist 3 plus car care kit based on your review and recommendation, and after one application, the spray nozzles will not let the product come out. I called several times and no response from the company.
Hi Jeff. I reached out to the owner Ram, and explained your issue. His reply: "Since the initial launch we have changed sprayers which are much better and have had no issues. I recently attended the geist leather restoration course with Ram Iyers and was amazed at his products and knowledge 👌
Looks great. Personally I am always reluctant to put anything other than simple soap and water on leather seats as I nervous to damage them.
If you use leather care specific products from reputable brands, you can’t damage the leather. Keep in mind, modern leather has a transparent clear coat on top to protect it. Just like the clear coat on your paint.
And just like the paint needs protection, leather also needs protection.
Bonjour Pan, any uv protection in the product? Thanks again Christian
The leather conditioner (in the 3 Plus kit) does have UV filters.
Pan I have a question, can I use green star mixed GSF to help remove traffic film, without stripping off ceramic spray and rinse sealants? I want to refrain from using stripping washes like carpro reset, because I have found that it strips off silica sealants.
You’ll have the same issue with Gs as it’s a powerful all purpose cleaner. Just use CarPro Reset shampoo for regular maintenance.

Hi Pan, just wanted some advice. I've put ceramic coating on my windshield but my washer fluid stripped it off. Do you know of one that wouldn't, that's also available in Europe? Thanks
What glass coating did you apply? A good one would be Soft99 Glaco Ultra. Watch my video: th-cam.com/video/usdM-TrT7fg/w-d-xo.html
Preparing the windshield is crucial. You will have to strip the old one off. And then do the steps for the new one.

can i use this on top of a ceramic coated interior to maintain it? or use this instead of a ceramic coat for the interior
This has to be applied to the leather, not on top of an existing coating. It needs to bond to the leather's clear coat. At least, to my knowledge.
@@PanTheOrganizer so on a brand new car would use the 3 minus kit or colourlock top life?
Pan i have a question how do you feel about the Ryobi ONE+ Orbital Buffer
I haven't tried Ryobi polishers.
Correct. The Geist surface cleaner would be perfect for maintenance.
I asked Ram, the owner, and he confirmed there is UV filters in the conditioner (of the 3 Plus kit).
@@PanTheOrganizer DUPRAY NEAT™ Steam Cleaner good?
Nice video but what is the difference with colourlock brand?
Everything. Completely different chemistries. I explain it in the video.
@@PanTheOrganizer OK thanks, but I didn't expressed myself properly, question was more about the results than about the components 😉
The results are similar visually. Time will tell if one is better than the other. But both are top tier leather care products.
Can this be used on Alcantara? Thanks!
No, but they do have a kit for fabrics and alcantara here: bit.ly/3DsBTDo
Does this product work on all leather textures or only on smooth leather?
All leather surfaces.
