If I was buying it for me I agree hands down, for my kids though, they find the slicing software and everything that goes along with larger printers too much of a barrier, for example because of the size/ exposed parts it would have to live in our garage.
Interesting video man! I also just reviewed a printer for Kids (actually, our second) and I actually loved it didn’t need a phone. Although, an app that lets them create custom things (like what I saw here, creating a model from a photo) looks amazing ❤
Love this, is it compatible with STL files from say hero forge? Might be a more child friendly way of getting them into miniature design of not the cheapest
Yeah, that's my main question - if it can print custom STLs this is an awesome bit of kit! Else, it feels like you'd hit a wall after you've printed all of the presets you're interested in.
Fun video as always James, this might have been something for me if my kids was still small, as they are grownups now i might try a real printer and see if they find its fun now
Honestly I’m not that techy but the AI is a feature of the app but I assume it’s processed on the cloud 🤷♂️ it’s not a paid app though it’s all built in.
As one that doesnt have space for big 3d printer ... is it a nice small 3d print for just fun printing cute figuring or you reccomend something better? Safety is important bc of a cat 😂
As a compact printer for printing toys and gadgets it’s fun. And it works well. If you can get a little more space a bigger printer is more versatile but my kids have loved this thing
@@RisingApe woah thank you very much for a very fast reply ♡ that print seems very fun even for an adult like me😂 and by the look of it its very promosing... is it easy to add your own creations as well to print it out? Thank you again!
Looks pretty cool cant help but think that I would rather have an ender 3 v3 KE or bambu A1 mini for that much.

The bambu ai mini uses a phone app just the same as this

Cheers, yeh my kids enjoyed this, I saw your video actually (not watched yet) but I am just teaching the kids on my K1 now

Yes it can print custom STLs but for minis a resin printer is always going to be better. There are some cool toys you can make though
And this is like the smallest fdm printer

Ahhh, I’m sure they will find a bigger printer more fun 🤩
Is this a cloud based service? The AI thing?

@@TheCuteKsenia Yes really simple. I just used Lychee, or even the phone app to add files from their library
It should be a crime to recommend this printer with the bambu a1 mini to compare it to
@@MegaCasey09 is it easy to use for beginners like me
Ye SHOULD be very proud of yourself!!! You’re doing awesome! And the printer looks really neat for smaller kids to get started trying out the medium!
Thanks 🙏
A amazing idea for you kids.
Thanks
Super cool!
Thanks
