- Sachin Pilot is a senior Congress leader and former Union Minister who has also served as Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan. He also held the position of President of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee and played a major role in building the Congress Party's cadres in the state. Coming from a political family, his father, Rajesh Pilot, was a senior Congress politician and Union Minister as well.
Pilot made history as the first Union minister of India to be commissioned as an officer in the Territorial Army. Currently, he serves as the Congress General Secretary for Chhattisgarh and is an MLA from Rajasthan's Tonk constituency.
In the latest episode of the ANI Podcast with Smita Prakash, Sachin Pilot discusses the Congress' and India Alliance's prospects in the 2024 Lok Sabha Polls. Without mincing words, Pilot addresses issues such as the Caste Census, Reservation, and the Constitutional row that are dominating the General elections.

Sachin Pilot is the only leader in the whole of India who neither does politics of religion nor caste. I have always seen him talking about issues and Sachin opposes the policies of the opposition. I have never seen him personally attacking any BJP leader. I like this the most about Sachin. He opposes anti-farmer, labourer, poor, student, youth and middle class policies and Sachin always talks about the rights of farmers, labourers, youth, students, middle class and poor class.

Superb interview and Sachin Pilot is fantastic in articulating his stance / view point. Despite so much of push he kept calm, shown extremely no emotion on his face and explained his position. People like Sachin Pilot who has been transparent, honest and pragmatic in his approach and even so well educated, should certainly be a part of the cabinet when India Alliance championed by Congress comes to power in the days to come. Now I had high admiration for Smita Prakash as a renowned senior journalist and the manner in which she used to conduct the ANI podcast. However in this podcast I did see a flavour of Godi media coming in which was really astonishing unless and until I did see it wrong, correct me guys. Yes agree to the observation that her facts about Rajesh Pilot not been correct and to still pretend and manifest an insouciant approach to shrug it off stating that " due to lack of time" diminishes the level of this podcast. I reckon the media who has been in awe of the NaMo factor is finding it difficult to see the sun setting and the wrath hanging over their heads as the INC & India Alliance stands on the threshold to witness and see a new horizon along with fellow indians.
