I remember when I first installed mine (mbrp) and thought the same (it's pretty loud), I installed vibrant performance resonators and exchanged the mufflers for resonators as well. It sounds amazing. I also paired it with 3in AAM Ldp's and tuned it. For some reason, the tune also made the tone deeper. also, it sounds louder in the cabin. You should have someone drive your car around the neighborhood for you while you listen to it. You'll see it does not sound bad at all.
sounds pretty good man. I have the Fast Intentions sport exhaust w resonators and it sounds great, i don't get any rasp, id definitely recommend them. I also have Fast Intentions catted downpipes waiting to be installed, cant wait to hear what it'll sound like once i get those on.
