I'm guessing you forgot about the 14 15 z28
Did you use or change the crush washer? First time changing my boy's 2003 wrx.
@Fade2BlackCF I reuse it, I had a leak though because my crush washer failed and had replaced it at that point but that’s the only time I’ve had to
Ok thank you!
What engine mods do you have and what’s the mileage on the motor??
Stage 2 is exhaust, intake, downpipe, and tune. Still running the same motor that came in it and up to 154k when writing this!
It doesn’t seem worth it because I know at least on the wrx your getting oil on your hands from the filter anyway. The 35 bucks may be better spent else where.
If your vehicle has a drain plug in the bottom side of the pan these are ideal. If your plug is on the bottom don’t do it.
What about slowing down at junctions like corners or roundabouts where you don't necessarily need to come to a complete stop? I get a bit confused as to what gear I should be, I have yet to learn downshifting
@sirzyr When I first started out, slowing down was just about waiting until I was going slow enough that the car didn’t jerk when I shifted down a gear. As I got to driving more I started to blip the throttle and then downshift so I could be going any speed and go into any gear as I was rev-matching. It takes some practice to get perfect, id recommend looking up rev-matching, but blipping the throttle before downshifting is the key to smooth shifts! You’ll learn over time for your car how much you have to push the gas pedal to get the RPM’s where the next gear wants it to be at.
I've been driving manual since I started driving 10 years ago, and my general rule is, unless you're at a complete stop or crawling (1-3mph) just stay in second. This is car-dependant, but I find it's easier to set off in 2nd and slip the clutch a little to get a smooth set-off than deal with the jerky ratio of 1st gear. Down-shifiting is an art even experianced drivers don't always get right. Practice makes perfect!
did you go with the OE sport springs or the sport springs? there is a ride height drop on both with the OE being the lesser of the two
I think the height drop was 1.5” in the front and 1.4” in the rear and they are H&R sport springs
Nice bro
My 97 Acura CL Blue Book is only worth $2,000 but my 97 Acura CL it's worth the 5,000 because that's how much they offer me cash money but I didn't want to sell it because my car is 97 Acura CL 2.2 5-speed manual transmission so yeah I think it's worth more than 5,000
BOV, UEL headers, maybe catless less downpipe?, resonator delete, and most likely a dildo shifter,
What rims are those at 0:26 super clean
Oh. My pulleys recently just started making noise... Guess I might have that to look forward to.
The answer is you don’t have a sports car😂. They do it for the adverage Joe buying the car to make them feel better about their car. Car enthusiasts are not necessarily in mind when designing a vehicle. They make em for the general population who won’t GAF. Although making it hard to turn the feature off is annoying.
Look good
If they were real carbon, I’d think it would be clean. But the gloss black does look better than fake carbon
255s on the rear? Didn’t the Z sport come with stock 275s or 285s in the rear?
So, you just come up with ideas for builds and post them without testing or trying them? These are bad ideas. You look young. Get some experience. It’s a good start for ideas, but this is trash in the real world. It’s like how to make your Camaro worthless and garbage class 101.
@matthewhill1163 when researching these videos I check different videos of what other people are running for their build, articles on builds from companies that sell parts for the platform, and much more. This is not just a random mix of parts I choose and run with. Thanks for the engagement boost.
Why fake carbon tho
Real carbon parts coming soon 🤫
Damn my buick needs that 93....
I wish I had an SS man, im working with what I got but theres like no mod support for the LLT V6 besides some stuff in australia with the UTE community
Definitely sucks that the V6 gets left behind. I know it’s not the big V8 that people drool at but would still be nice for some support!
I always said if you're going for a looks build, the V6 is fine. Power build, V8.
Thank you much
I have a OBW right now. looking up to pick up another Subaru in a couple years. I would like to pick up a 02 or a 04 Subaru like this or in the SW variant not sure. I wanna get a WRX. I even thought about getting a Subaru Legacy with the Spec B package. Would love a H6 as well. but too thirsty maybe! what would you get? Want something punchier then the outback but want this car.
I know Smeedia has a pretty rowdy H6 swap on a WRX which is sick! I know the 02 WRX gets a lot of hate because it’s not as aggressive looking as the facelift versions but I gotta say that the look grew on me a lot and you really don’t see that many bug eyes out on the roads which I think makes it a lot cooler!
Hoping to buy an ls3 ss in the near future. underated vid, thank you!
Drop the oil pan lol
I'm rollin with spec d tails to match the headlights but the chrome reverse/turn signal area at the top i have blacked out with tint. With the 2 red exposed button tail lights as a nice subtle detail. I'm silver so i kinda have a stormtrooper look. Xxr 550 flat black. And dig it, jeep 5 3/4" haloed headlights for fog lights. 🤘🏻🤙🏻✌🏻
Can you send the link where you bought it
It was on tire rack, the H&R SPORT SPRING SET, looks like they’re even on sale right now! (10/23/24)
@Chase Burk So what can you do about the automatic transmissions can they handle this power or just manual? And what would you have to do if you wanted an automatic transmission with that much power?
I just got a 2007 Wrx tr, is the 5 speed good to hold like a bov, intake, and sti intercooler and tune, is the motor reliable enough to do so?
Congrats on the car! The 5 speed is not that strong as it’s also called the “glass transmission” 🤣 but I’ve been running Cobb Stage 2 on mine for the past 3 years and the previous owner installed it so probably even longer without any issues. Launching your car puts a lot of sudden stress on various parts so I try to not do it very often as well. From my experience you should be perfectly fine so long as you keep up with basic maintenance!
Just finishing up the paint on my 08 TL
Also alcohol takes the old glue easily
Open the dent up a little bit before glue pulling it
You can do this faster by leaving the wheel on the car. Don’t even have to jack it. Just make sure you’re able to get to the nail/screw. It’s also easier when there’s air in the tire
This is true ^^^ I thought it would be better for recording with it off the car 🤣
Clean the area first whit alcohol. The glue tab will stick on better or you could just pop the trunk and rub it out from the inside
When i was young we pushed out dents like that with our bare hands soaking wet both ways in the snow
I'd just go in through the inside it's not hard to use a plastic tool and squeeze your arm back there after you pull the trunk apart. Just roll it out and a mirror on the outside to help see is nice. I own a bodyshop pdr is cool we do some but I'd use black glue and sand the qtr with 2000g first and put two straps on. One on each side and pull with two winches then use a plastic pick hammer to bring the small flat that's left out. Then buff the qtr. On this your skill and tooling I'd suggest pulling the trunk cutting a screwdriver handle loose and use a little grease to lube it and just roll it out by hand from there. FYI it normally takes a green guy two years to be profitable and pdr is generally a progression from that point where the skill is there to get that fine. Don't be discouraged just understand it's a trade and an artsy one really
hey bro You need to Prep your Tools and the area you are working on Clean the Tabs with rubbing alcohol and clean the dented area with rubbing alcohol after its clean heat it up then it will stick better and you can do better pulls but i recommend you watch more pdr videos and pay attention to small details
dude that’s hilarious
personally i like the stock ones. but i like when people by the taillight overlay to make it all red
bro isc makes some really decent coils for the price ! got em on my 18 sti for two years now and they are perfect!
Bro didnt get the paint protection & dent warrenty😭
Problem #1 - the dent needs to be wiped with alcohol prior to glue pulling. Problem #2 - that small glue tab you’re using isn’t going to pull that.. you need a bigger square laka or crease tab. But it really needs to be worked with a soft tip PDR rod from the trunk. Even if you did glue some of it out, it would still need a bit of knockdown work if you wanted a clean repair. Generally speaking, if you try and repair a dent on your own, you make the PDR techs job a lot harder. It usually costs you more to clean up a bad repair than if you were to leave it alone in the first place.
Wrong get off that phone and do some homework lil guy
keep it alive 😊 been restoring my 2002 wrx been a money pit...got it working for 1 year had for 5-6 now its just causing problems don't know what to do but still keeping it😂
The have special hammers for that. Im a body guy
Brong the slode all the way to the spring and slide it back with more force you should pull the glue tab off in one go
Bring* Slide*
Take it to a local dealership and ask about paintless dent removal, pretty cheap doesn't take long and the dealerships usually has a person that comes around and does this for trade ins.
Will they charge to take a small dent out I don’t even want paint I just want the dent out
@MrBreaktheBanK zero paint and very cost effective I've had this done to 3 of my cars. Yes the ones I've used just charged a price per panel and I was very happy. One of the paintless dent people even did this for me in my driveway when I was gone because he was heading into town to make his stops at one of the local dealerships in town. Hope this helps. 🍻
@@impreza1335what's the cost for the removal? Just to have an idea of what to expect?
@carlosmeraz9469 not sure what others charge but I wanna say it was around 35-75$ a panel and I believe they called the front fender a panel the door a panel and the rear quarter a panel. The last time I had it done was about 2 years ago on one of my cars from parking lot dings. I wanna say it cost me like 80 bucks or so. But he did a couple I had on the front fender and a couple on the door. You can't even tell where they were. You just have to show them or call and tell them what you have they will give you their advice and what you can expect. Honestly I will always try a paintless dent removal first especially for the cost and results it's pretty awesome.
@@carlosmeraz9469 you might also work out a cash deal, money talks. 🍻
A Dolly and hammer wld wrk better for something that small
Don’t use a heat gun it will make the paint bubble. But I would definitely warm it up somehow to make the metal more soft
Induction heater?
A heat gun won’t make the paint bubble unless it’s way too close to the panel.
Hot water to soften the metal
Anything hot enough to soften the metal will fuck the paint
@MiG249 you right but he don't know that.....
Weirdly enough I wanted to know how much I’ve spent on my ‘05 Blobeye, including car price, repairs, mods & service parts & odds so I went through all my paperwork & receipts. I’m up to over £20,408.73 over four years now, & where the car currently is in roadworthy-ness, it wasn’t worth it as I’ve just had my boot lock release break & also the lights behind the dash all just died on my last drive, oh & im also waiting to here back from a body shop as the whole rear boot panel needs to be cut out & a new panel welded in. Oh the joys of owning a WRX hey, I’d rather be in another abusive relationship, I’d get better returns at least. 😂😢
🤣🤣 wow can’t imagine spending that much but it’s for the love of the game! There’s so much more that I want to do with mine I can easily see myself spending thousand on various parts or repairs it’s so addictive! Good luck with the build and enjoy the WRX!
@@chaseburk I always equate it to the saying, when I’m good I’m very good but when I’m bad better, except when it’s bad it’s better off not owning it 😅
Just got a 2010 SS with the LS3. Using this video to try and figure out my build!
Hoping to get the ss, any differences you’d recommend between the 2SS and SS
@@Triptastrophie Honestly, the only things that the 2SS offers over the SS are purely interior/comfort features, like the heated steering wheel or extra lighting. I don't really see the benefit of it, but if that's for you, go for it!
