Hi Tony, I am a loyal fan of your TH-cam channel, thanks for the informative videos. I am going to stay at Easyhotel Barcelona Fira for 4 days, is it worth getting the Hola Barcelona Travel Card to travel around Barcelona from my hotel? Is there a drop-off nearby(walking distance) the Easyhotel using the Hola card? What's is the best transport option to go to Easyhotel from the airport terminal 1, if I am not taking the taxi? Thanks
@@raytan577 hi Ray, if you take the local bus, it has a stop right in front of the Easyhotel. On the location of the Easyhotel, you will be using public transportation on a daily basis, so you will quite likely benefit from the Hola Barcelona card.

Hello Tony.! Presentation is absolutely PRICELESS. Thank you. You have made life so much simpler with your detailed video for travellers. Best, Manni from Sydney!
This is the most amazing video I have searched for months for my Spanish trip. Lots of information/tips and good comparison done for options.Well done, Tony
you have created a treasure with your detailed video of directions, what signs to look for, how to get there, prices and comparissons. the amount of thought that you put in to create this is amazing❤ thank you for doing this for us, the lucky people who found your channel❤
I have been traveling to Barcelona a dozen times, always taking the 46 bus from T2. I knew there was a metro line from the airport to the city, but didn't know how to get to that metro station, and I didn't have time to find out, also I didn't see any sign showing the direction. What is funnier, my father, who lives in Barcelona for 20 years, didn't know either. So thanks for showing how to get there.
Bonjour , Hello from Montreal Quebec Canada. I spent 10 weeks in Spain and came back Sunday March 19. I want to thank you for all your precious advise and information . It did help me so much and made my trip easy. So THANK YOU and keep up the great work! merci. Jacinthe

A big thank you to Tony for making this video. So informative and it really made things easy for us when we were planning how to get to our hotel from the airport. Thank you very much for taking the time to create and produce this video. It was very helpful to watch before my upcoming trip to BCN. Kind regards, from Wisconsin, USA
Very complete video! Excellent information, maps and images essential to optimize the movement around the airport. I was wondering if the airport itself has an informative video of such quality 🤔.
Thank you so very much. Your video explains everything a person needs to know to feel confident about finding transportation from the airport to the city center.

Fantastic video. I just returned from Barcelona. I didn't use any of these means of transportation to get to my hotel (at Santa Coloma de Gramenet of all places) because I had someone picking me up. To travel to the airport I had a rental car. But these options will not always be there. I'm saving this video for future referral because it is fantastic. Very useful information. It is 6:55 surprising that Barcelona is so late to the contactless party. Though it appears this solution does not use bank cards! In the UK, you just rock up with a bank card and you're good to travel like a local. No registration, no app, or special card needed. Barcelona needs to get on board.
T-mobilitat arrived for everyone at the end of last year th-cam.com/video/dXaVX0Pag08/w-d-xo.html Next Sunday, our up-to-date video on how to leave the airport.
Wooooow you are the man, best airport video ever, thanks. We are arriving late, after 20h so we will probably have to take a taxi to La Rambla so we can explore the city more or if something goes wrong the train is the best option so we don't have to make connections if I understood right :)
Thank you! La Rambla is an extense avenue, if we knew the exact number you are travelling too, we could help you better. Neither the train nor the metro take you directly to Las Ramblas.
@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal The street number is La Rambla 40 - Hotel Quatre Naciones. :) If we take the train we should leave at Passeig de Gràcia station and walk for 20 minutes which is ok. But probably we will offer the taxi drivers 40e at the airport(all expenses together in that price, only two of us) so we can arrive the fastest and leave our bags. :)
@@truncksZR it is quite a walk from the Passeig de Gràcia station to your hotel, Google estimates tend to be overoptimistic. You don't offer taxi drivers any money, they are obliged, by law, to charge you whatever the taximeter shows. Taxis are, by far, the fastest alternative.
I’m a lazy traveller, my last trip to BCN was for a motorcycle race and I stayed in the hotel above Sants Estacio. Catch a train out to Montmelo, no need for a car to get around.
Thabks so much for the details. What would you recommend best way to get to Icon BCN, our flight arrives on Friday at 5:30pm at Terminal 1. I see the Aerobus has a stop close to the hotel and we might have some cabin luggage’s so wondering the best option.
Hi Kamlesh, if you are traveling light the Aerobus will leave you quite close to your hotel, as you've already discovered. The streets leading to your hotel are quite crowded but 100% safe. All the best.
Thank you so much for this! We are arriving at Terminal 1 and our hotel is near Placa de Catalunya so I think the Aerobus is probably the best option for us.
Hello, great video! I need a little bit of help: I arrive in the BCN airport T2 at ~1:15 am My accommodation is close to the airport and we could take the night bus N19 or we can also walk (~3km). Metro is not available My plan was to buy T-usual card as it is the cheapest now (20eur for zone 1, we are staying 6 days) and also includes the airport trasnport Question is - will I be able to get the T-usual ticket at the airport somewhere in the night? Or I just spend 2.40 on the bus and buy the card next morning in the closest ticket machine?
Walking from the airport is an absolute no-no. Depending on the day of the week the metro runs 24 hours. If that wasn't the case on the day of your visit, take the N19 and buy the card next morning as you suggest.
Hello Tony. Phenomenal video by the way. My family of 4 will be arriving at BCN July 31 morning. I'm considering taking a taxi to Hotel Colon Barcelona even though it may cost a little more. However, if I buy the Hola Barcelona or T-usual card, it'd make sense to take the metro. What do you think?
Hi Teresa, being a group of 4, take the taxi, no doubt about it. We talk about the issue of public transport with luggage on this video: th-cam.com/video/r3YYQ4pk6As/w-d-xo.html
Great to hear that. Don't miss this more recent video, as the way you pay for your transport in Barcelona has just changed th-cam.com/video/HbJzpyxLCzg/w-d-xo.html

Do you have any advice about SIM cards , how to get them, where or which one is the best ? , cheers my friend
I gotta be honest. Travelling from Barcelona airport to the centre is a long journey. As you mentioned the path to the metro in Terminal 2 is absolutely ridiculous and the first 10 station with the orange line are a huge waste… I didn’t learn about the train option until later on vacation.

If we take the train we should leave at Passeig de Gràcia station and walk for 20 minutes which is ok.
Holà .. thank you so much for your detailed explanation of travel from the airport .. much appreciated 🇨🇦
¡Gracias! Delighted to hear that, Elaine.
Thankyou for such a detailed Video. Was very helpful❤️
Delighted to hear that, in January we will publish an updated video on the topic.
Merci Gracias for all the info
👍
I’m a lazy traveller, my last trip to BCN was for a motorcycle race and I stayed in the hotel above Sants Estacio. Catch a train out to Montmelo, no need for a car to get around.
Yes, we've mentioned in several videos what a big mistake would be to drive a car in Barcelona.
Thank you so much for this video! I wanna ask if I going thursday night about 4am to airport from city centre what choices? Only taxi? Thank you
Indre, you can also take the Aerobús, we talk about it in the video.
But why in their website writen that Aerobus Barcelona operates from 5 AM - 12 AM. ?
@@kvietkelis1 its true i also have this problem. I don't understand, or aerobus go at night.
@@kvietkelis1 we don't know which website you are checking, on the Aerobus website it clearly states "Service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year."
Thank you so much for this information!
Our pleasure!
Thank you so much for this! We are arriving at Terminal 1 and our hotel is near Placa de Catalunya so I think the Aerobus is probably the best option for us.
Sounds like a good choice.
Thank you so much . I am now excited to go . Biggest worry was airport to hotel. ❤
Great to hear that! Have a safe trip!
Appreciated a lot!
👍
Thank you for your info. Should I travel to Barcelona I will look you up again.
👍

Hello, great video!
I need a little bit of help:
I arrive in the BCN airport T2 at ~1:15 am
My accommodation is close to the airport and we could take the night bus N19 or we can also walk (~3km). Metro is not available
My plan was to buy T-usual card as it is the cheapest now (20eur for zone 1, we are staying 6 days) and also includes the airport trasnport
Question is - will I be able to get the T-usual ticket at the airport somewhere in the night?
My favorite airport affordable food, cheap transportation and easy to navigate.
👍
thank you! we will visit Barcelona on Dec, this year
👍
The video , which clears all doubts about travelling to barcellona.
Great to hear that. Don't miss this more recent video, as the way you pay for your transport in Barcelona has just changed th-cam.com/video/HbJzpyxLCzg/w-d-xo.html
Thank you so much for this very useful and informative video! No matter how many times you travel to Barcelona, there's always something new, like 2023 T-Usual tickets 50% discounted! 😁
Thanks to you, Ray, The t-usual discount in 2023 has been one of the highlights of the year!
Hola Tony, gracias gracias, tus vídeos are incredible helpful to us. My husband and I will be travelling to Spain in a few weeks for the very first time, your tips and advice are appreciated . Do you have any advice about SIM cards , how to get them, where or which one is the best ? , cheers my friend
Hola Ana, many thanks for your kind words. We do have a video on SIM cards here: th-cam.com/video/u8z5PfSbtb4/w-d-xo.html ¡Un saludo cordial!
Very good job!❤
Thanks for that!
I gotta be honest. Travelling from Barcelona airport to the centre is a long journey. As you mentioned the path to the metro in Terminal 2 is absolutely ridiculous and the first 10 station with the orange line are a huge waste…
I didn’t learn about the train option until later on vacation.
