HI! Very useful video. Thank you! However, I would like some advice on what is the best way to reach accommodation from the airport in my case. The flight is expected to land at the T2C terminal. My wife and I will have to reach Gracia, the accommodation is the Residencia Erasmus Gracia. How should we do it? Since we will be in Barcelona for 5 days (3 full days + 2 travel days), which T-mobilitat card should we get? Thank you!

@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal Thank you! I really appreciate the advice. As luggage we have 2 backpacks and a medium trolley. Since we land around 6 pm we are undecided whether to take public transport or a taxi to save time and have a few more hours to start visiting the city in the evening
As a very frequent traveler to Madrid, I have never experienced a more comprehensive and straight forward video on the how to get to the center of Madrid. Very well done TG
This is the best video I have ever seen of Barcelona public transportation. It's so easy to follow and the information is comprehensive and thorough. Billiant video, thank you!!!
I am amazed at how eloquent you are. You say the right words, relevant content and with great supporting material. What a pleasure to have found this channel.
hello tony we have returned from a trip to barcelona, and we found your videos so valuable, from getting out of the airport to the menu del dia keep up the good work from David Jackie and Grace
Spectacular video! Everything important without being boring. Excellent images, maps and animations. And what can we say about the precious tool that precisely illustrates the step-by-step instructions to be followed in different demands?! Spain Total is, unquestionably, the best information channel about Tourism in Spain. LOVED IT ❤
This is such an amazingly detailed, clear and useful video. Everything was explained step by step, with helpful visuals and tips. Thank you so very much! I hope you continue to make such high-quality and informative videos!
Hi Tony 🤗 your videos are very informative, concise, and very clear instructions. We’re going to Barcelona next week and your videos helped me plan our vacation. Thank you very much ❤
You are really great. You have supplied me with everything that i wondered about the transfer and public transportation in Barcelona. I really appreciate your detailed and great explanations. You deserve a big applaud.
What a perfect video, thanks for all the information. I spent 5 days with my family and we bought T Mobilitat Usual with thanks to you and enjoyed the most of Barcelona with help of this affordable card.
Tony, thank you so much for your tips. Your videos helped me when I went to Madrid a few months ago, and now, in a few days, I'm headed to Barcelona. Thank you again.
Tony thank you so much for all the necessary information in one easy to understand video. This is a fantastic, just like all your others. We really appreciate your attention to details. This will be very valuable for our trip planning.

@@cocoreo89 in local buses you can, you pay the full fare and have no right to transfers. Contactless payment at the metro is being gradually introduced, but it's still at an early state. Again, you will pay the full fare (much more expensive) with no right to transfers.
Great updated video Tony. Used the 46 many times over the years when staying that side of the city as much cheaper and usually less crowded than aerobus with not a massive amount of extra time .
@@jonchall71 depending on the exact location within Sant Antoni or Poble Sec, there might be better alternatives. Line 46 is good for those who arrive to Barcelona with a T-mobilitat card in hands.

Thank you so much for this video!! It is very thorough! Doesn't take for granted that you know anything about BCN. It is really helping us to decide what way to get into the city. I think the Aerobus might win. I was wondering if you have another video on the transportation system in BCN in general (I'm going to watch the T-mobilitat video next). When I'm looking at the transportation setting layer on Google Maps, I can't tell what's what! All the little symbols look the same. In particular, we're looking how to get to Mont Mujuic, the funicular, the cable cars there, as well as the Port cable cars (we're staying right beside the Universitat metro station). We'll finish off our short stay taking the port bus to the cruise ships!
Hi Tracy, we don't have a video yet on what public transport in Barcelona is like. In case you didn't see it, we have a video on how to reach the cruise terminal here th-cam.com/video/eRbNEb4xpg0/w-d-xo.html All the best.
Thank you so much for this practical video, once arrived at the airport I had the impression that I already knew the area 😅 One thing IMPORTANT to mention. I've been annoyed while trying to buy my 6 zones T-usual (~61€). Regarding the credit cards, the automate does only accept contactless payments! So if your country has a security which limits payments (e.g 50 €) or if this feature isn't activated on your credit card you're in trouble 😢 Furthermore it doesn't allow to use more than 1 bill of 50€ for payments (I had 2 bills of 50€) so be aware of this to avoid being stressed when making your ticket purchase..
Yes, as a Barcelona resident it is definitely a pain not to be able to use 50€ bills for most tickets. In the past they had T-10 cards for about 10 euros (similar to T-casual), so I would buy 3-4 of them at a time, or look for a café willing to change my money, and end up buying a coffee when they refuse (and the dirty looks I would get 😂). Although, where did you try to get the ticket? Most of the older/bulkier ticket machines only accept credit cards with PIN payments, not contactless and most stations still has one of those.
Traveling to Barcelona next month. What is the best way to get to Port Vell from the airport with luggage and 6 people. Thank you Tony for all the great information.
Which ticket we need to buy from T2 and plan to roam in Barcelona, all the famous tourist spots example sagrada familia, nou camp etc. And including going to Montserrat? We will be in Barcelona only for 4 days. Thank you

Last but not least , u are amazing , all your informations are perfect and easy to understand. Thank you , bless you 🫶🏼😊
Glad we were of help! Most, but no all metro stations, have elevators. We would take a taxi to your accommodation, please watch this video th-cam.com/video/c6TD5KOjKQg/w-d-xo.html All the best!
My 2 cents after getting back - As you advised - we all got the T-Usual (on our mobile): Hola Barcelona Card: Use the Aerobus T-Usual/Terminal 1: Use line 46 (No transfer needed to T2 and for first time visitors some sightseeing - transfer to the subway once in Barcelona) Other tickets/Terminal 2: Use train or line 46 Those getting the Train at T2 an need to pick up the Hola Barcelona card - First go down to the Subway - Get to the GREEN ticket machines to pickup your Hola Barcelona Card. After that go up to catch your train!
Thank you for this informative video with a step-by-step explanation, I appreciate it very much! Can the return ticket for the Aerobus be used on the day of arrival and again a few days later for the return trip to Barcelona Airport, or is it only valid for same-day use?
Hi Tony. Great description of various options available to travel from the airport to the city! Wanted to clarify - is the T-casual card available at the airport train station, but not at the metro station?
This is so informative! What travel method do you recommend for a group of 5 who are staying near Mercat de Sant Antoni? We are also planning to get the T-usual card 😊 Muchas gracias!!
¡Gracias a ti! You could take the airport metro to Torrassa, change to the red line and travel to Urgell, and the walk. The market is three blocks away from the metro station.
Very extensive but just a few points and updates. - Unless your destination is near one of the statikn if L9S don't take it. As mentioed it does not go to, or even near, the center and withth (long) change ut will take about an hour. - The 5.50 single does include chages inside the system but there is actually a time limit of 2h. - The train isbthe best option from T2, if it's close to where you meed to go but from T1 it's a bit of a hustle. As for the new line, the Genralitat are quite certain that it will open in 2026. -A single (adnd definatelly not recommended for most) is now 4.90€. - A change from the train to L4 is not recommended, especially with luggage, as it has stairs and a long tunnel as. Althogh have the same name, the train statikn and L3 and L2 and L4 are about 300m apart. To get to this area fro the Passeig de Gràcia train station gonout through the Pau Claris exit and near by you'll have the V17 bus that goes down Via Laietana. -The Aerobús isngreat, but not cheap. I use it as I have a stop nearby. Price has gone up to 7.25€ or 12.50€ return (valid for 90 days). You can also pay the driver, includin with cards and phone payments. - Be aware that the Aerobús Gean Via/Borell is actuallt near Gran Via/Urgell and was called that befoe, no idea why they changed it. If you are staying in the area of this stop on the way to the airport the stop is not on Gran Via but one street down at Sepúlveda. On the way back to the airport it does not stop at Universitat. - If youndo end up on the 46 bus you can change to the H12 bus, that goes along Gran Via at any stop starting at Av Granvia - Bloc I. Cerdà or to the H16 bus from the Gran Via - Química stop (which stopse at Pl. caralunya) by getting off thec46 and waitimg atvthecsame stop. Br sure to get off forcthe change before the Pl. Espanya FGC stop. -Alsomfor buses, there arecaldo night buses (Nit Bus) serving the airport. The N16 serves T2, the N17 serves T1 and the N18 serves both terminal and is more direct but be aware thatbit strats at T1 so from the city it will first go to T1 and wait a bit to the scheduled teparture time. You can use an integrated travel card if you one orvpay a single tontje driver (cash and credit). On any cash payment, make sue to have small notes as a driver (and machins) might not acceot large bills (on the bus usually max 10€ and on the Aerobús max 20€, taxis can refuse cash if they needto give change of more than 20€).

Hello Tony, thank you for your very informative and helpful guides! I am planning my Erasmus studies for 3 months this year and I still don't know what ticket would be the best for me (I am under 30 years). I have heard of some taking the T-joven ticket (I think it needs T-mobilitat) which is valid for 90 days and offers unlimited trips with all means of transportation through Barcelona. What would you recommend as a ticket for students like me that plan on spending more time in Barcelona?

Excellent video very thorough I'm glad I found your channel and will watch your other videos soon. What is the best mode of transportation to get to Europa/Fira area. and what are your thoughts on the Barcelona card.
Hi Tony, if you are traveling very light, you can take the local bus. Otherwise, take the metro. We don't recommend the Barcelona Card, the savings are not great. The modernista card is much better th-cam.com/video/DdI8q2ExeHo/w-d-xo.html But be aware that in 2024 it no longer includes a transport pass.
@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal Thank you for the information we will be going to Barcelona for the first time in 2 weeks and your insight and videos have helped us a great deal!
T-casual can't be bought from terminal 1, so you have to take the shuttle from T1 to get to T2. But, could you buy a metro ticket from T1 and get off at T2 and then get on the R2 Train? The train stands much more direct and faster than Metro. But I guess the trade-off is the train only leaves every 30 minutes. So if you miss it that time spent waiting you could be on the Metro leaving.
You could buy an old paper-style T-casual from the Estanco on terminal 1, just outside the terminal. It would be absurd to pay for an airport metro ticket just to travel to T1.
You always provide such great detailed information and have used your information at other times. Now I need to get from the train station Barcelona-Sants TO the Barcelona airport - I did a search and can't find that information on your videos - do you have that information as need to do this transfer as quick as possible tomorrow afternoon. I think I have seen we need to look for R2Nord, but not sure about anything else -do we need to go to a ticket machine to buy this ticket at Barcelona-Sants? We will be arriving there on Iryo from Cordoba so not sure where to go for the train to T2 at the airport - thank you as always for such great information
Hi Janice, there is a section of the video dedicated to the airport train. It goes to Sants station. You catch it in Sants to go to the airport. Make sure you leave at least three hours (depending on where you fly to, four hours) between the estimated arrival time of your train and the departure of your flight.
Hi! Many thanks for the video. As there will be 8 of us , could you recommend the best transportation options if we're heading to Barcelona Sants from T1?
Amazing video!! Thanks for the insights.. just one query - do we need to reload the t-usual card that has unlimited trips for 30 days? Or is it fixed price at 21.35 for a month? I saw another video of yours when you mentioned, it can be recharged only with t-usual, so lil bit confused. Gracias 😊
Or at the end of the month, you can take the same card to the ticket vending machine, use the contactless pad to scan the card and reload for another month for 21.35€ and save the cost of a new card for 0.50€.
this video was great ! I would like to know what would be the best choice for a group of 5 traveling with luggage to our hotel in Distrito De Santa-Montjuïc?
Hi. Coming there for a month in April. Our accommodation is in Areynys de Mar. What is the best and the most affordable way for three people with heavy suitcases to get there from airport. Our flight is there about 8 pm so it´s quite late. Thank you for your help.
Hi, Areyns de Mar is 35 km from Barcelona in the opposite direction from the airport. You could take the train from the airport to Sants Station and then train R1 to Areyns, but would definitely not recommend it to people with heavy luggage for the reasons explained here th-cam.com/video/c6TD5KOjKQg/w-d-xo.html Your best choice is a pre-booked transfer.
The return ticket for aerobus … we can use at a later date ? We will be arriving on 1dec and will head back on Dec 5th …we can use the return ticket to go back from placa de catalyna to terminal 2?
Calella is a town nearly 60 km for Barcelona. Easiest would be a private transfer. Otherwise, airport train to Sants and then R1 train to Calella, and then it will depend on your location there.
@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal Many thanks, one more question if I will have T-usual ticket, can I use it, going with airport train to Sants or I need to buy ticket, many thanks in advance

Hi, if you are traveling light, take the airport metro to Torrassa and change to the usually very busy line 1 and travel to Arc de Triomf. Walk 10 minutes to your hotel.
Thank you for such a comprehensive and well-explained video. We are staying at Carrer de València, 240. Which is the best train/metro combination to get there from Terminal 1 at the airport? We are each planning on purchasing a T-usual ticket based on your hot tip! Graciès!
Thanks so much for all the great information. I will need to get from the airport to Hampton by Hilton Barcelona Fira Gran Via, Pl. d'Europa, 33, 08908 L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain. It looks like I can use the Tusual and take bus 46 right to Pl. d'Europa. We arrive at Terminal 1 and have a wheel chair. It seems the Tcasual may also be possible, and cheaper but that ticket is not available at the airport? We will have three days in barcelona outside of a cruise and also want to use either Tcasual or T usual for getting to our cruise from our hotel and to the airport from the cruise. Any tips for us. So glad to see you have walking tours available too!
Hi Nancy, with a wheel chair, why not ordering a taxi? Bus 46 is a local bus. In the video we explain how to buy T-casual at the airport. Check out our info on how to get to the cruise terminal th-cam.com/video/eRbNEb4xpg0/w-d-xo.html All the best.
So there's a difference between the metro and train? You CAN'T use the T-Usual on the metro, but you CAN use it on the train, is that correct? Which unlimited card can be used for the airport metro, train, and buses by tourists? I watched both videos, and though informative, I am a little confused.
You can use T-usual on the metro and the train. Tourists use the Hola BCN card, see details here th-cam.com/video/gmLm0uu1ojQ/w-d-xo.html Until the end of 2024, and due to a government subsidy, T-usual is being sold at a very enticing price too.
Thank you so much for this video and for many of your Barcelona videos! They have been so helpful in planning. I do have a question: We will be leaving via high speed train from the Sants station. I am thinking of just taking the bus there from our lodging since that is more convenient than the metro. Is it okay to take our carry-on sized luggage on the bus? Also, is arriving at the station at 7:30 enough time for the 8:30 train?
I understand that the channel needs to be on the safe side for potential liability issues, but personally I think 1 hour is overkill. The access to high speed trains closes 5 minutes before departures, and I have often arrived 10-15 minutes before departure and made it to the train without a problem. I travel a few times each month, and only once I had to say excuse me and cut in front of the people in line for the security check. Of course, I have the benefit of experience and knowing where everything is and how it works at the station. So, I'd say 30 minutes would be more than enough time to figure things out and get on board your train. Maybe add 10 minutes if you are a big group or traveling with children or lot of luggage. If you are particularly averse to adrenaline rushes, aim for a soft 1 hour, but don't fret if you are 15-20 minutes delayed. Or you could always arrive early and enjoy a coffee with croissant/pastries or some McBreakfast at the station😉
@@phoenixUPC nothing to do really with liability issues. We always err on the side of caution. We've been stuck for endless minutes in the middle of the tracks leaving the airport so many times! On top of that, a visitor needs far more time to read a place and a situation than a local resident. Only last week, we must have seen a dozen people missing their high-speed trains at Atocha and Sants. Mostly locals (or at least people traveling without luggage), I must say.
@@phoenixUPCBeing my first time in Spain, I was glad that I did arrive at Sants and Atocha an hour early, especially Atocha. It gave me time to look to where to go without getting worried. But I agree that once you are familiar with the stations and know where things are, arriving 30 minutes prior is enough time as long as everything is going as planned.
@@AnnaC-w7s I totally agree about Atocha. It is about 3 times larger than Sants, and my first time there, it was quite confusing to sort out that the commuter rail Cercanias, High-speed departures and High-speed arrivals all had separate buildings/entrances (since I am much used to the more compact Sants where everything is literally 1 min away from each other). But I am happy to hear that your travels went without a hitch and I hope your time in Spain is/was memorable in all the good ways ☺
Thank you very much for the great information, Tony! My husband and I will visit Barcelona in June. We are going to stay in Sunotel Aston. We arrive late at night at Terminal1, so I think it is best to take the aerobus to the 4th stop, plaza universitat, then take a taxi.I would appreciate it if you would let me know what you think of my idea. Also, I found this ticket on the internet. Would you think this Barcelona essential pass is worth the money?
Aerobús + taxi is one possibility. Direct taxi, another one, it shouldn't be much more expensive. We are not familiar with the Barcelona essential pass but doesn't look like an interesting investment.
Hi So i visit Barcelona in june. And as it looks, is that the hotel is directly nearby the Metrostation Rocafort. I want to buy the essentialpass witch say that i can use the aerobus with it. So is it clever to use the aerobus to reach the hotel oder better use the Metro? 🤔 Thx 🙂😅
We are not familiar with the Essential Pass but don't think it provides a good deal. We haven't seen anywhere proof that can be used in the Aerobus. The Aerobus will be faster (get off at Urgell) but you will have to walk five blocks.
Thanks for this very helpful video! Can I use the Hola BCN Ticket for the R2 train from the airport to Barcelona-Sants? As far as I can see, the Hola BCN website only tells me, that the metro service between airport and city is included.
Does Free Now still operate in Barcelona? I found that it worked great when I was there in 2022. I will take the Metro from the airport, but may need a car for other times.
Hello Tony, Thank you for all your information. May I ask you the best and safety way from BCN airport to B Hotel which close by Placa de Espanya. Is it possible to take the Aerobus A-1 ( A-2 ) from terminal 1.
Hi Ricky, best and safest (and fastest and most comfortable) is a taxi. The Aerobus is a second alternative. You will have to walk a bit around the square to reach your hotel from the bus stop.
Hello, Is it possible to use the HOLA BCN card for the renfe train to city centre, and is it possible to buy this card at the renfe train station, or we have to walk to the metro station to buy it ?
It is possible. You can only buy the card at the metro station, next to the train station. We have an up-to-date video on how to leave the airport here th-cam.com/video/LRNRaIkkehk/w-d-xo.html
Thankyou for making such a nice video. You have shown 2 stops for buses 46 and N19. I am arriving 1.30am at terminal 2 and want to take N19 from T2 to Alberg Centre Esplai. Which stop should I take the bus from? First or second?
Hi, we've never taken that bus so, to be absolutely sure (we don't want you to be walking around the area near the hostel in the early hours of the morning), why don't you seek clarification from the hostel itself?
Hi, if you don't want to be dragging a suitcase around Barcelona, we'd take a taxi. Alternatively, the airport metro to Torrassa station and then line 1 (a very busy line) to Arc de Triomf. And walk 10 minutes to your accommodation.
Love the video, very informative and up to date. However there is one mistake where you explain how to get to Bus 46 from Terminal 2. When you arrive at Terminal 2B, you can head to the first exit from the terminal (next to the horse sculpture), turn right and in 20 meters there is the bus stop for 46 for Terminal 2C. This way you don't need to walk all the way to the other side of the terminal. Also, you didn't mention the night buses, N17 and N18, which I find quite useful for early flights. Due to low traffic late at night, N18 can be almost as fast as the AeroBus.
Thank you, your alternative is shorter. On next year's video we will recommend people to leave the terminal, turn left in the direction of the Aerobús and then reach the 46 stop. Impossible to miss with the added benefit of walking in front of the Miró mural welcoming visitors to Barcelona. Night buses are good for local residents. We prefer not to recommend them for visitors unfamiliar with Barcelona and carrying luggage.
@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal I was actually talking about the bus stop #81 (Terminal 2C), you will be directing them to bus stop #80 (Terminal 2B), which is a little bit further away, but considering the Miró mural, it would be worth the extra 3 minutes walk for tourists :)) 👍👍
@@phoenixUPC yes, we understood the stop you were talking about. There are times when the shortest option is not the one we choose. All the options are valid.

I think I have to buy a ticket to Barcelona Sants from the ticket machine at T2 and then buy a regional ticket at Sants for the train trip to Girona. Can I buy a ticket from the airport that will cover the entire journey? Thank you.
We've never done it but I suspect you cannot, since you'll be combining local trains with local fares and regional trains. But since there is a manned ticket office at T2, why don't you go there and ask?
@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal Hi. I was able to buy a single ticket at the manned ticket office at the train platform from the airport to Girona (and it saved a few Euros too).

👍👍👍
Thank you so much for this practical video, once arrived at the airport I had the impression that I already knew the area 😅
One thing IMPORTANT to mention. I've been annoyed while trying to buy my 6 zones T-usual (~61€). Regarding the credit cards, the automate does only accept contactless payments! So if your country has a security which limits payments (e.g 50 €) or if this feature isn't activated on your credit card you're in trouble 😢
Furthermore it doesn't allow to use more than 1 bill of 50€ for payments (I had 2 bills of 50€) so be aware of this to avoid being stressed when making your ticket purchase..
Thank you for sharing your experience and useful warnings!
Yes, my experience was at the airport train station..
It would be good to see Barcelona guides warning travellers regarding this..
Traveling to Barcelona next month. What is the best way to get to Port Vell from the airport with luggage and 6 people. Thank you Tony for all the great information.

My 2 cents after getting back - As you advised - we all got the T-Usual (on our mobile):
Hola Barcelona Card: Use the Aerobus
T-Usual/Terminal 1: Use line 46 (No transfer needed to T2 and for first time visitors some sightseeing - transfer to the subway once in Barcelona)
Other tickets/Terminal 2: Use train or line 46
Those getting the Train at T2 an need to pick up the Hola Barcelona card - First go down to the Subway - Get to the GREEN ticket machines to pickup your Hola Barcelona Card. After that go up to catch your train!
As explained in the video, public transport tickets, included Hola Barcelona, are *not* valid to travel on the Aerobús.
Thank you for this informative video with a step-by-step explanation, I appreciate it very much! Can the return ticket for the Aerobus be used on the day of arrival and again a few days later for the return trip to Barcelona Airport, or is it only valid for same-day use?
Hello, the return ticket can be used up to 90 days after the initial trip.
Hi Tony. Great description of various options available to travel from the airport to the city! Wanted to clarify - is the T-casual card available at the airport train station, but not at the metro station?
Thanks Subhomoy. You can get the T-casual at the train station and at the "estanco", as shown on the video. Not at the metro station. All the best.

Hi, with luggage, take two taxis. Traveling light, you can take the train.
Gracias 😊
The t-usual card is valid for an entire month. When it expires, you can purchase a new t-usual valid for another month.

You can use your return ticket up to 90 days after your first trip. You can use it on the bus to T2.

Hello Anna, carry-on luggage is fine. We always advise people to arrive at the station at least one hour in advance. All the best!
Hi
So i visit Barcelona in june. And as it looks, is that the hotel is directly nearby the Metrostation Rocafort. I want to buy the essentialpass witch say that i can use the aerobus with it. So is it clever to use the aerobus to reach the hotel oder better use the Metro? 🤔
Thx 🙂😅
We are not familiar with the Essential Pass but don't think it provides a good deal. We haven't seen anywhere proof that can be used in the Aerobus. The Aerobus will be faster (get off at Urgell) but you will have to walk five blocks.
Hello! Can we use the T-usual for the trains to Montserrat and Sitges if we chose other zones when purchasing the T-usual card? Thank you
Theoretically you could, but it would be nonsense, paying for a very expensive ticket just to use it for a return trip.

Hi, you can use the Hola BCN on the train indeed.
Does Free Now still operate in Barcelona? I found that it worked great when I was there in 2022. I will take the Metro from the airport, but may need a car for other times.
Not 100% but I think it still does. Most taxi drivers don't like the platform.
Hello,
Is it possible to use the HOLA BCN card for the renfe train to city centre, and is it possible to buy this card at the renfe train station, or we have to walk to the metro station to buy it ?
Hi Tony, What is your recommendation for getting to Carrer del Rec Comtal, 19, Ciutat Vella, with a suitcase? Thank you!
Hi, if you don't want to be dragging a suitcase around Barcelona, we'd take a taxi. Alternatively, the airport metro to Torrassa station and then line 1 (a very busy line) to Arc de Triomf. And walk 10 minutes to your accommodation.
@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal Thank you!
Hi, Great Video. I am planning on travelling from Barcelona Airport to Girona on Saturday afternoon (plane is scheduled at 13:15).
The only inconvenience is that you aren't supposed to exit at Sants but the kind gentleman on the gate let me out and back in. There was only a short wait between trains so it was a good outcome in my circumstances.
@@SteveWarburton-sz2om excellent, now we know that can be done at the ticket office!
Nice Video. But my question is...we will landing on Monday at 0.55 am with vueling. Wich cheapest option we have in the night to come to our hotel near Porta/ Nou Barris ? Thanks for help. :)
It depends on the day of the week.
@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal the night from monday to tuesday
@@renrahmm on that night you haven't got many options and none are cheap, as your accommodation is far from the airport. Either you take a taxi the whole way, or the Airport bus to Plaça de Catalunya and then a taxi.
Hello, ive just subscribed to your channel, such a great find. There are 5 of us travelling to Barcelona 2025. Ive been trying to research trains as in UK we have apps to plan routs and buy tickets.
We are staying in El Masnou walking distance from El Masnou train station. Can you advise which trains and where to buy tickets from Airport to El Masnou.
Then while in El Masnou we want to do several times over the week to Barcelona city centre by train. Again can you suggest what ticket and where to buy them.
Hi Duncan, welcome to the channel! As Masnou is outside Barcelona, go to the ticket machine (or the ticket office) at the airport station and request a ticket for El Masnou. You will have to change trains at Barcelona Sants. The ticket to visit Barcelona from El Mason will depend on how often you cover the route, there is a ticket valid for 10 trips. Your hotel will be able to advise.
We will be arriving at the airport in Barcelona. We will be staying at the
Renaissance Barcelona Fira Hotel . How will we get to the hotel the most affordable way. This will be our first time in Barcelona and will be a little nervous.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Also from the hotel which will be the best transportation to the city center of Barcelona
If you're traveling light, you could take bus 46. From the hotel (which is not in the city of Barcelona but in neighboring Hospitalet de Llobregat) to the centre you can take buses or the metro.
@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal
We will be going on a cruise a few days after we arrive. 2 carryons a a larger suitcase will be our luggage. The bus still ok or something else?
Take a taxi. See th-cam.com/video/c6TD5KOjKQg/w-d-xo.html
Hi I'm looking at what is the best option between the metro and train to get to Sant Agustí Hotel. Any advice would be welcome thank you.
Hi, if you are traveling light and want to save, take the airport train to Barcelona-Passeig de Gràcia and then change to the green metro line and travel to Liceu, close to your hotel.
@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal that's perfect thank so much. 😎👍
Tony, thanks for all your videos! I want to buy T-usual. If I received the T-mobilitat card from the machine, do I have to touch the right-hand side to make it valid?
Hello there! We didn't understand your question. Once you have your T-usual, it will become active the first time you validate it.
@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal Ok, thanks.
Hello! Thank you for your informative videos!
I've seen several people ask about how to get to Calella, but I didn't see this specific question.
We are traveling to Calella in mid-September 2 of us, and we will be making at least three round trips from Calella to Barcelona for excursions.
Is the T-Familiar Zone 4 ticket the best option for us?
I wanted to check the single ticket prices for Zone 4 to calculate if it's worth it, but I can't find the single ticket prices for the different zones anywhere. Maybe you could give me some useful tips.
Hello, here we deal with the city of Barcelona, Calella is far way, that's why we don't contemplate it here. The safest thing would be for you to seek advice at your accommodation, they'll be able to tell what the best option would be for you. One-way ticket prices depend on the means of transportation you choose.
@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal Thank you :)
Thank you for a very informative video. I found this to be very helpful. We are planned to arrive in Barcelona in late March and are staying close to Cathedral de Barcelona. What transportation would you recommend to take from BCN to Cathedral de Barcelona? thank you.
Hello, if you are traveling light, take our advice to reach Plaza de Catalunya and walk to your hotel.
Great video! Coming to Barcelona for a cruise then staying for a day once it returns in November this year. How would you recommend I go about traveling to the cruise port from the airport? I cant wait to see the city!
Thanks Rachel, you will find the answer to your question on this video th-cam.com/video/eRbNEb4xpg0/w-d-xo.html
