- Just a little trip over to Newport Oregon for some Jetty fishing. Ended up with catching a couple of under sized lingcod and a sea bass. short trip, but I had a good time. thanks for watching. don't forget to like, commit and subscribe!

@@HitchByHitch yes. I miss the feeling of "home" the familiarity with the area, the confidence. I don't miss the weather lmao. I do miss the fish, the views, the mountains, the rivers. I don't miss the distance from my kid. I gave a lot to gain a lot. I'm glad you posted this video. I loved it. I spent many days on the rocks just like that at Barview.
Quick tip. Next time. Use a high-low rig with size 4 hooks and sand shrimp. You will get into perch and greenling. Plus the seabass will hit it.
