This is how I got ahead. Even as a millionaire, I didn't buy a new vehicle. My grandfather was a millionaire, and he drove his super old truck to all his business and had a brand new truck tucked to the side as his home. I remember asking him why bot drive the new truck, he said because my workers are humble, I'm humble and they see me drive in my old truck and they're open to me. They don't fear telling me when something needs to be changed or a better way. Driving in a new truck would change that.

Well let me tell you what happened since I was already living off of an apartment building when I started making sales and sales bonuses I took all of those sales bonuses, I put them away. I didn’t spend more than I normally do. I didn’t take on big trips. I didn’t buy a new car with 18 months I have made $175,000. I was able to save about 40 took away about 20 I was able to clean off all of my credit, I was able to give my grandchildren some money. I was also able to buy a house all the days were long and hard during a certain period but that’s what you gotta do save work harder and if only for a short period I will no longer ever work that hard at my age, almost 12 hour days that’s not for me but I was able to get ahead. While I'm in a pretty good position in life myself, this probably the best advice I've ever heard and will actually use the core of it to better my circumstances even further. This guy has got the gift of gab in the best way possible.

Alex, I just finished watching your video and I can't express enough how much I appreciate the raw and honest advice you've shared. Your perspective on luck and the emphasis on creating value really resonated with me. The steps you've outlined are clear, actionable, and grounded in reality. It's refreshing to hear someone talk about the hard truths of financial struggle and the path to overcoming it.

Great advice! When I was broke working for minimum wage 10 years ago I followed a very similar path. Unfortunately Uber and Lyft were just getting started and wasn't really doing much so it wasn't an option for me. However, I ended up getting two jobs, both minimum wage, moving in with family and then working on developing my skills and then applying to better jobs. Today, my one job pays more than double what I made from BOTH jobs and my side business pays me more than what I made from one of those jobs. If you're watching this video you have WAY WAY more opportunities than what I had in 2013 so go for it!

This kid’s journey is my journey. I was him 10 years ago. I have spent a decade grinding, learning applying myself for a payoff that is only now starting to come to fruition. I put in the time I put in the effort. Having a kid comes with a lot of responsibility and kills a lot of options. What people don’t realize is that having kids also comes with many advantages for instance I became far more motivated after having a kid to make something of myself. many of the advantages to having kids are hidden. They have extremely high payoffs if you work with them but they are often not the fun thing to do. pick your poison brother. pay now or pay later no other options.

Love this. I am just over two years into my "hustle" and doing extra work and improving my skills. I've put so many hours into this and I am finally starting to see results. I have sacrificed a lot of my time, but the amount of time I will now gain for the rest of my life is so worth it. I am on track to not have to work a 9 to 5 and I am in my late 20s. Listen to Alex and do exactly what he says. Remember it takes 10,000 hours to master a skill.

Alex, you provide incredible value and inspiration that I’ve always respected you for since the first time I was introduced to you by Billy Gene, but this just took it to a whole other level. Thank you so much for pouring into this young man and others like him in our community. These were straight gems and of course, in posting this, it will provide the blueprint to him and all those who have the hunger and passion to pick it up and run with it. You’re a class act. Thank you!👏🏾👏🏾♥️♥️

Probably one of your most powerful messages to every young person out there that wants more then average, more than what school teaches, more than their peera and parents. Go Push through the season, because you have to, to make it to the next level.
