Hello i got pr in sep 2019, but right now i m doing uber only .can you plz suggest me how i can apply visa.
Interesting you got an appointment in 2 months, I applied in July 2022 and the nearest visa appointment given to me was in September 2023! However, I am glad that this was the appointment date since it gives sometime for establishment as I applied 6 months after landing in Canada to go visit my brother studying there.
Hi, Any help with someone who has applied for a USA visa and went to Calgary for the interview they refused and asked him to fill up a questionnaire and send it via email and wait for six months!
Now it's been more than 7 months and the status still shows no update!
Is there any solution for this? He needs the visa for Work and life has been hard without the work.

Everything is available grocery wise. There is hardly any concept of cafeterias here.so it is better to cook yourself

I just recently recieved my ITA on October 30th draw! My points were 478 but I realised there was an error in the education area, my score actually need to be 471! But due to selecting Masters degree I got 478 overall, but WES considered my Master's as post graduate diploma and I had to select post graduate diploma or dual bachelor's but I selected Masters due to which I declined my ITA!
kindly tell me if this will have a negative impact or will I get my ITA in the upcoming draws?
I'm very upset about it but my score is not that bad it's 471 now!
Decline the invitation and start a new profile with the correct education information. Otherwise, if you submit your PR profile the case office may reject your application.

If someone get refuse usa visa....is it affect canada in PR?
So once u get ur PR u'll still hv ur original passport but to fly around to any country u r treated like a Canadian? Is that correct?
Also how long after the PR u'll get the passport?
As a PR your are still a citizen of India or whichever country you have originally come from. So to go to the US on an Indian passport, you still have to have a valid US visa. The PR is a permanent resident card for Canada only. It doesn't give you extra travel privileges.

I love the US visa process. Once I had an accident in US as a student and my parents applied for US visa in extreme urgency and they were able to get one for day after tomorrow. They were all panicked, they did not had any time to collect any financial documents or anything. Visa officer asked the reason, they told I had an accident and I have a surgery and hospitalized. Officer didn't ask anything and approved the visa.
In UK/Canada and other countries you have to show funds.
US was my home for 10 years, and even though I live in Canada for last 4 years, US would always be special for me.
