I have appointment next week. I got the confirmation of appointment from embassy. But I don’t have my ds-160 form confirmation page because I had filled it almost 1 years ago and now when I try to retrieve it it shows no matching data found but on the appointment confirmation my ds-160 form number is written. I don’t know what can do because I have next week appointment and I am so worried about it. So please reply me what I can do. I paid US visa fee last year in August and I have interview appointment this year 2024 in September. So I read rules and policies about US visa fee that it will expire in 1 year. So I have to pay the Fees again? and how I can pay that again ?

Hi, I filled my ds 160 form And electronically signed and submitted it but just before the Final 'next confirmation ' they showed a session time out so Again when I retrieved my application , signed in , they directly took me to the confirmation page with that unique barcode. So I didn't really get the chance to click that next confirmation option. So shall I consider , since I got my ds160 confirmation they have recieved my all my data in their system?

Hi, My work permit has expired, but I received an extension. However, there is an issue with obtaining a hard copy. I do have a letter from IRCC stating that my work permit has been extended. Is it acceptable to bring this approval letter to the visa consulate in Toronto?

I've a passport from Pakistan, with validity less than 6 months. Can I appear in interview ?
According to the US consular website "Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your period of stay in the United State". So probably get your passport renewed on an urgent basis if you have enough time. Otherwise, I read that you can go but if you pass the interview they will likely give you a 221(g) notice which is to provide additional documents but this can delay things. Not sure if that is the case but if I were you, I would renew it asap and avoid the complication.

Not 100% sure but I think you don’t need to generate a new form or anything just carry all necessary documents with you and explain them your story…

Carry a hard copy of your most recent photo in the size mentioned in the instruction letter. Also, keep copies of both DS-160 forms with you, but you will only need to show the updated DS-160 form there. All the best.

Never ever go on applied status, you will be rejected cause they Don't even know if your applied status will be approved or not and if you get rejected you might move to USA. I would highly suggest to wait.

I have a USA visa appointment in Toronto during the second week of August. I am a recent graduate currently on a work permit and actively searching for NOC A jobs. In the meantime, I am working at McDonald's to support myself.
My concern is whether the visa officers will ask about my current job during the interview. If they do, is it acceptable to mention my role at McDonald's, or do I need to show experience in a NOC A job? Will my position at McDonald's negatively impact my USA visa interview? Should I consider rescheduling the interview until I secure a more stable job?

For dates there is no other option than checking it again and again, or paying any agent few extra dollars to get an early date, regarding cellphones- no as far as I know they wouldn’t let you enter that building with cellphone

For us visa even if your passport is expiring in a month, visa will be for 10 years ( It doesn’t matter when your passport is expiring)
