They filmed this MV during their reality “astro zone” on youtube astro, this is very funny, we can see them being themself so super chaotic but also caring with each others,this was really nice to see.there are 8 episodes. The swow was about them being on vacation so yeah jinjin drove them there and there is an episode of them in the pool,another one of them drinking, playing.. it was really nice to see them having fun together.
This song wrote by moonbin and he used lyrics from all their other songs, it’s very meaningful, he said he wanted to show their path and their memories.
And i also cannot pick favorit ddoca mv cause it actually a song for us, arohas.most astro album have at least one aroha song, and most of them written by members, they always make vids for us,they share moments with us, they make and composed songs for arohas, they’re expressing their true feeling thru those song
*and also if you wondering ddoca is the name of their camera/self-camera, they talk to ddoca as if talking to a person
Aww thank you for sharing all this I feel much more in the loop on why they do these videos and the types of songs they put on each album 🥺 I understand not being able to pick a favorite it must be like picking a favorite child haha. Also thank you for the “Ddoca” clarification I was confused about that but that’s cool they include the camera like another person (almost like aroha in a way!)
Footprint's lyrics actually comes from the lyrics of their previous tittle songs but in reverse order(from "One" to their debut tittle song "Hide and Seek") just like what you said it is the memories of their previous comebacks just like FOOTPRINT.

Also its moonbin’s first time writing lyrics. Mj encouraged him to participate in this album. The way he ask mj if the lyrics was okay and mj said it was good. They’re so cute.
As you watch more of their ddocas, you'll notice that here they recreated a scene from their ddoca m/v of One in a Million. I definitely recommend you to check out their other special ddoca m/v's, all of which are dedicated to Aroha. Incidentally, the Footprint m/v is the first ddoca m/v that is not entirely dedicated to Aroha. Moonbin, who wrote the song, dedicated this song more to Astro OT6 (and then Aroha) as a memento of their journey together so far, which to me is even sweeter. I love the bond b/w the OT6. @@AngelDawnReacts 😄 I feel ya. The amount of content kpop groups release can be overwhelming. So, take it easy. Arohas are a super excited fandom; if we find a new audience for astro, we start dishing out our recommendations. I guess there's an mj virus hidden inside all of us ;)
I guess it's simplest to go chronologically. That way you can also observe their growth as artists and performers. Thats just my opinion though. I'll look forward to any reaction you choose to upload, whenever you do it. :)

If I was already a veteran aroha, I would be trying to share everything with everyone right away too LOL. I think chronologically makes the most sense too. I'm so happy you react to this song, yes Moonbin wrote it and he included lyrics from their other songs (from "One" to "Hide and Seek") in it. He wanted to show their path and their memories, it's cute ♥ I love Jinjin's voice and I'm happy he can show that he can sing too, we already knew that because he sings in the background on many of their songs and he has short lines on some songs too but here we can really hear him. I think he's not really confident with his voice because it's so rare to see him sing seriously, usualy he always make fun, it's so frustrating ahah I hope our many nice comments could give him more confidence and that we could hear him sing more in the future.
Actually all of them are credited on every songs in this album you should listen to it, it's very special for them ("After midnight": lyrics by Eunwoo / "Footprint": lyrics by Moonbin / "Waterfall": lyrics by Jinjin (there is stage performances, you need to watch it, I think you gonna love this song) / "Sunset sky": lyrics and composition by MJ / "MY ZONE": lyrics by Jinjin and composition by Jinjin and Sanha / "Don't worry": lyrics and composition by Eunwoo and Rocky). If you find them chaotic, wait to see the episodes of "Astro zone" ahah This MV was filmed during this reality show and you need to watch it, you could learn more of their personnalities ! (8 episodes released this summer, just before their comeback).
The other MV they made for Arohas are "You and me", "Call out", "1 in amillion" "We still (be with U), "Our spring" It's hard to choose a favorite but "Our spring" made me cry the first time I saw it because Rocky filmed the members and edited that video himself (he also wrote and composed the song) and it was so cute and I don't know, I just felt so proud of him ahah But all their special MV are super cute and fun. I also love "Call out" because this song is really fun and they filmed it in a waiting room, so much chaos in a small room ahah

I wanted to react to them again today but I had a horrible first day at school and I was too depressed to record :(( but I finished editing a pre recorded reaction to waterfall that will be up tomorrow!! It’s such an amazing ballad I was blown away.
Jinjin should be more confident he is so talented but I understand his hesitance and why he is hard on himself. I hope like you said with each kind comment he will recognize how capable he is of singing!! Moonbin is the most precious person ever for writing the song in such a nostalgic way I’m obsessed with that.
I think I am definitely going to react to every song on the album now at some point because I have loved each one I have heard so far and the fact that they all incorporated their personal lyrics and artistic styles makes it even more special! Once I finish that I will definitely check out their songwriting process video you linked :)

I can't wait to see your reaction to "Waterfall", it's my favorite song from this album, Jinjin is an amazing songwritter, I love all his songs, like I said before "Lights on" is my favorite, the lyrics are so meaningful, he wrote it while thinking about Arohas and it's exactly what I feel about them. I think it'll always be my favorite ahah He also film himself while he made the song late at night and they filmed the recording for each members, the video is on their channel and it's a really nice video too. It really deserves more recognition like many of their bsides.
It would be really nice to see your reaction to the commentary video. You'll see that they're really proud of this album and they are so passionate, I love this video. I could listen them talk like that for days, it was so interesting.

I suddenly remember your coat to rocky's outfit at music core when they perform waterfall, you should watch it too it's a great performance and rocky is singing and hitting high notes again, by the way it's their first win in music core national tv after 5 years the music core encore is so emotional they cried especially eunwoo, they also got their first win in music bank after 5 years and the music bank encore is emotional too when jinjin cried but right after that it was so chaotic I'm crying then suddenly laughing😂
Oh my gosh I just looked up rocky’s coat and your right they are similar! I feel so cool now that I have worn something similar to Rocky haha. My next video (coming tomorrow) is me actually reacting to their waterfall live performance from their switch on concert but I don’t think I even realized at the time it was him hitting the high notes so I think I definitely need to watch that music core performance! @@AngelDawnReacts Yey! Premiere alarm is already set for Waterfall. Can't wait! Btw Astro members wrote the lyrics for "You and me". While "We still" has 2 versions of the song. The 1st version was from their GATEWAY album. And the 2nd one "We still (Be with U)" has a special voice message from them. The version has a special winter themed arrangement that made the song more warm and emotional and it was released last Dec. 31, 2020. Also the raps are different from both versions.

to be honest, when the tracklist came out and i saw that there was no 'rap by', i thought it'd be an only vocal line song (like roleplay, which you should react to). but jinjin's vocals really shocked me in this song and the song itself made me melt.

Jinjin sounded lovely on this track and it is such an emotional and sweet track I listen to footprint all the time now when I’m in school to relax and remember to retrace my steps :)) I will add roleplay to my list!

Actually we arohas can't choose our favorite ddoca as all ddoca was made for us the ddocas are their fan songs all albums have atleast one fan song and every ddocca m/v has it's own charm u should watch their sub-unit moonbin and sanha's bad idea m/v and here are some of the ballads of them waterfall , gemini, bloom, because it's you , you're my world, sunset sky , 12 hours
