- Hey everyone! Sorry for the break in content but I am back! And with a brand new track... well video. Today we're exploring Dead by Daylight's direction, do BHVR seek to create a competitive or casual game? We'll explore make I think it is that makes the game so good! The recent updates with the Skull Merchant and Knight, the MDA model and discuss what I think would be the best direction to take!

This whole chapter was truly and wholeheartedly, a tool of torment.
"[She] taught people to appreciate nurse" has to be the best explanation of the skull merchant I have ever heard.
7:12 wow that adrenaline couldnt be better timed
I know right! The timing could not have been better!
In my opinion, DBD was meant to be a casual game. It will never be a truly competitive game (way too many randomized elements implemented into the core of the game). By trying to "balance" this game, developers are taking away some of the fun I used to have while playing this game. Honestly, I don't even think that the game is balanced. That's why I made a video about how the game is survivor-sided. I love this game & I think it will stay relevant for a long time, but at the same time, I'm very disappointed.
I'm about to go watch that video right now randomly stopped seeing your videos thought you dosappeared
I always feel so much smarter after your videos. It's not just informative, but you can tell that someone with background in game design is speaking here. Lots of interesting insights!
To me DbD could never be a competitive game, it's such a party game in its roots that every change in that competitive direction truly ruins the experience.
As a solo queue player I don't want to jump from generator to generator, praying we don't 3 gen. I used to play DbD for the horror aspects, the thrill and fear of hiding and running away from the killer, trying to escape. And that honestly seems to be missing lately
I do think they need to completely rework Skull Merchant. I've had a few matches where she did nothing but patrol her 3 gens at the start of the match. She is not committing to any chases, it's extremely boring. A killer that encourages such a playstyle is just not healthy for the game. She destroys soloQ players because they just can't communicate and coordinate sufficiently.
Bad SM does that
Great video, Gary. Very well put together, fun, and informative.
6:10 re: Dead Hard and Head On - I'm sitting here nodding in agreement w your assessmt. I love when a survivor pulls off a well-timed Dead Hard or Head On; it's annoying sometimes, but I have to admire the skill. I can't pull them off when I play survivor.
10:49 hahahahaha
11:31 Gary, as I sit here avoiding getting any writing done, I'm intrigued by how this game design model could be applied to almost any creative "product" for an intended audience. I tend to navigate my own projects from a handful of scenes that evoke a specific mood (aesthetics), and then reverse-engineer them from ending to beginning, deciding along the way what stylistic choices will fit that mood (system) and applying my own understanding of various story formats by length (rules). Thank you so much for including the description of this model in your video, I'm going to be thinking about that for a while!
12:58 every single time, even if it's a map I like, I'm internally groaning. it feels like agency has been removed from me or possibly from the random nature of the game itself. I want the map to be a surprise.
13:15 some of those maps I actively dislike (Badham Preschool in particular) but the rest I'm pretty okay with - I think Garden of Joy is challenging
What do I think? I heard DBD Mobile has ranked and unranked matchmaking, and I think if we were offered the same split in Steam / PS / Xbox play, that would solve a big piece of the problem. There are a ton of super serious "competitive" players in the DBD community and they should be given a playground so the casual players can continue to have fun. And I think players individually need to make better choices with their perk spreads - and maybe BHVR needs to include more offerings that benefit the whole group, like Bloody Party Streamers. I can play a decent or mildly dull match and then realize someone brought Party Streamers, and I'll immediately feel much better about the match bc someone else was looking out for my enjoyment / benefit.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video, especially the MDA model segment, I was so excited that I finally got to speak about it in a video! And I think that's a great idea, I feel the same way about bloody party streamers!
welcome back! i enjoy a lot the format of your videos and commentary.
A good chunk of the changes they've been making have been good personally, like I appreciate that they've successfully diversified the meta, at least for survivor, and some of the things they changed really did need to be addressed (eruption, nurse kind of, and they tried with knight and Adriana). The competitive leaning is not the best tho. I'm excited and hopeful for year 7 :)
I just played 4 games and it was absolutely excruciating. Even had a bot one game and it played like a toddler. It wasn't fun at all..
The killer objective used to be hook based rather then kill based. However. At some point this got changed. This was still during the era that ruin was the major regression perk. Which had way more interaction for survivors then what we got now with the killer perks. Though I like the variety on killer. In all honesty. Why not return to that form of point scoring? If you wish to be competitive in dbd and improve. This would drasticly change the pattern of thinking like it did back then when we went to scoring on kills rather then hooks. Incentivising NOT to camp and tunnel. Survivors during that time also got a point score change to what it is now on all forms of scoring points. Objective, altruism, survival. Back then it was just escaping and doing gens if memory serves me right.
The main problem I see with the game is that killers are not really awarded for hooks. If you end the game with 2 hooks on each survivor you don't really feel like you achieved anything, and bloodpoints are rather a gimmick at this point. On the other side, a survivor could have done jack shit the whole game and be the last one left and escape through the hatch basically winning. Hooks need to either make the killer stronger or the survivors hooked weaker for each hook stage
I’m not sure if it’s just me but a lot of times when I’m survivor it goes like this: I get into the match and me and the other will start doing gens, someone goes down and gets hooked the rest stop doing gens but I continue because I figure one of them will save but wait the hooked person time is halfway down so I go for the save. By the time I get to save them someone else goes down so I pull the person off hook and heal them while the killer is hooking them then by the time I get to that person the same thing keeps happening so I feel like I’m in a constant loop and while all this is going on still nobody is working on gen so I eventually try staying on gens while they do the save but it’s either the person don’t get save or someone goes down after a save. Now i know everyone gets a down or 2 sometimes but holy shit I feel like some teammates don’t do shit. I’ve literally ran a killer for 5 mins looping and using flashlights and kept looking over at the players info and nobody healing or doing gens, their stuff was just blank. So I get down wondering what the hell they doing but it’s not til after I go down you see that gen Symbol pop up on someone’s name
Teach those boys to loop
You cant play dbd today without a discord squad, believe, ive tried. Its the dumbest thing
rather than bloodpoint incentives, a hookstate rework would be far better to make killers camp/tunnel less, by it simply being the losing option, in exchange for a boost somewhere else thats better for lower tier killers(imo a minor increase in default movement speed would be best here, due to the higher tier killers being opressive exactly because of a movement power, this change is probably much preferred to something like longer gens)
Asymmetrical multiplayer games should be balanced so that a lobby of casual solo-que players can win half the time there simply isn't a big enough competitive scene the Asymmetrical genre is a niche genre and niche genres need to focus on the common gamer not the hardcore fan yes this will result in the killer role being hard but that's how it should be.
For that to work the matchmaking system would have to be disabled
Hot take, the game is absolutely fine now and better than ever balancewise . Only issue are the new maps and killers
Wrong.
@@narciselul6050 replies "wrong" , refuses to elaborate , *leaves
@@narciselul6050thank you for your very insightful comment
I feel people who mostly play killer are more likely to see the game as competitive, while survivors or more likely to see it as casual.
6:06 personally, while I didn't feel DH after 6.1 was OP, it was absolutely frustrating to deal with especially when it was multiple survivors bringing it every game. It feels absolutely ridiculous for your best move to be baiting out a perk that a survivor may or may not. Not so much anymore, but the frustration factor of seemingly making a good play only for the survivor to hit an invincibility button to negate it got elevated up until last month. Heck, I even had a game where I brought a backpack build, but because the entire team had DH (as well as someone bringing COH and Exponential), it didn't matter that they were taking hits because I needed to chew through 3 health states just to get meaningful additional pressure and at that point, either the carried survivor still wiggled, or I had to abandon trying to get value out of my build.
Head On, however, I have no issue with as I know how fun it is to use as a survivor, so it doesn't bother me to face even if it happens repeatedly because I attribute it to the survivor probably just wanting to have some fun. It's also why if I kick a Blast Mined gen I'm unbothered.
Overall there's definitely a lot of solid points in this video though. Two things that also concern me about the upcoming anniversary: 1. If we get not only another original killer, but another killer whose power is more for zoning or patrolling rather than chases on the back of two poorly received chapters that featured exactly this kind of killer, and 2. If we get a finisher mori system announcement resembling anything close to the disaster that was the 6.3 PTB. If I'm proven right on either of those things, that is a very, very bad thing for the game as a whole. My hope is that my pessimism is proven wrong.
it's interesting that we as a community have to wonder if dbd is better as a casual vs. competitive game, when most of the community can't even 100% state what a definitive "win" in this game is.
i personally believe it should stay casual, because everyone is striving for a different version of a "win"
example: bhvr says that a win for a survivor is if they escape and a lost if they die (at least from what ik), but they are people in the player base who think a 3k escape should be considered a survivor win.
the reason games like overwatch and league of legends work so well as competitive games is because there is a clear objective and requirement in order to be considered the winner. dbd lacks this.
anyways, i love a video that gets me thinking 😂 great content gary!
Awesome video. I’ve been playing DBD since 2017 and I don’t enjoy it nearly as much as before. By trying to make the game competitive devs absolutely killed all the fun. The point is, I don’t think DBD can ever become real balanced and competitive because it’s an asymmetrical 1v4 game. Back in 2017 I used to have a lot of fun on both sides with all the broken stuff existed (like instablind or instamori). Game felt more dynamic and I didn’t really care about winning, because it was just so fun. These days however when I play soloq (like most of the playerbase does) I need to sweat every game in order to have a chance of winning and I feel punished for every second I spend not sitting on a gen. Killer isn’t much fun either, because if you play vs soloq you destroy them easily, and you play vs SWF you just lose even harder than before and the reason for that is devs pushing this game into competitive direction. I really hope after the last survey they will actually start doing fun changes and stop trying to make DBD an e-sport because it is basically impossible.
P.S. Keep it up with the videos! Subscribed ❤
As someone who plays DBD casually (and not very often) but loves to see how the state of the game is for passionate players, I found your analytical perspective very interesting! Thanks!
I am someone who plays the game that is essentially "DBD if it were a competitively oriented" that is Identity V, I find a lot of what the DBD competitive oriented players are asking for is definitely not the way you want to go unless DBD gets a complete rework and the core game loop changes to be heavily timing based and mistake oriented like Identity V is. That isn't necessarily a bad thing but is probably nothing like what those players expect it to be like...
Keep up the great vids!
The game is beyond salvaging at this point and needs to end. Besides the poor balancing of the meta, the game is suffering from a content bloat. BHVR needs to do a final build patch and make a new game, DBD has gone on too long and is boring. Not even new game modes can fix this stale and repetitive game.
Many recent perks are complete garbage and recent Killers largely underwhelming. Besides Wesker, recent Killers are either so outclassed that there’s little reason to play them or are awful. Knight and Skull Merchant both being consecutive zoning Killers that are only good at 3-gen defense proves they’re out of ideas. Many big time DBD content creators stated the game is stale, bloated, and boring, hence plans to take a break.
he is back!!
Bought Wesker played for a week and then I've been idle since then. Played pretty regularly before that. Now I've tried some matches the last couple of days and I had a lot of awful players, not bad sports just bad and the games have been quite fun as the random factor of never knowing what crazy stuff the others might be up two. Hanging on a hook for two full hook states with a camper while the others are t-bagging in a corner. Things are random but fun. Maybe if my MMR goes up I will have more consistent unfun games.
DBD has always had ups and downs but with every bad chapter, there was an upcoming better chapter that returned the fun. This year however, we got two bad chapters with annoying killers and bad maps and that's why I feel like a lot of the community is just burnt out. We need a good chapter for the anniversary to bring back the fun and with it the players...
I have mained three skull merchant since release and here are my suggestions. geographical readout add on becomes base kit, make it so if a surviver is exposed then they are permanently tracked until their exposed runs out, and lastly make it so that the skull merchant cannot place a drone in an area where a surviver has deactivated a drone.
Edit : I also think that the undetectable should kick in a lot faster when entering a drone radius
Great to see you back! I feel the game was much more fun and engaging in both roles before the changes of 6.1.0 The changes made to the timing ratios between certain in-game actions, hook sabotage and M1 cooldown for example, cracked the foundation of the game. While I agree with some perk changes the game has overall left me much less satisfied than it previously had.
This might be a hot take but I also think the game would benefit from ranked mode. However, I don't think that means adding rank to the current game, but instead creating a division where only certain maps would spawn and killers like Nurse, Blight, and possibly Spirit, would only be allowed in ranked play. Bonus bloodpoints would be granted for players using killers with a lower kill ratio and for hooking different players and/or hook states in general.
Ideally, Casual would then be decided by hooks, while competitive would remain kill-based, in terms of win conditions. That would allow casual players an "everyone wins" non-zero scenario, while keeping ranked play closer to a set of four 1v1 non-zero games, as it currently exists.
A really well designed and executed video Gary. Could you do map design too? 😂
You mean a video on map design? I mean I could actually!
@@TheHotCrossEssays I was making a joke, but ACKTUALLY a map design video wouldn't be a bad idea, I'd personally love that. To see how you see the map design, the way you might change things, things you believe are done well, things you believe need to stay part of map design etc. Be nice to see that perspective.
I do find that as killer, i can play well without making mistakes but the survivor objectives get done faster than i can keep up with.
I put hex plaything, sloppy, pentimento on to slow down the game to give myself some some extra time.
Anybody else experienced the same? 🙃
Run jolt.
what u think of the new road map for dbd? anti camping could really shake things up
Omg, Gary posted! ❤
I think you (and many others) overlook the problem that survivors are expected to do nothing but hold M1 for increasingly longer periods of time. I get it, survivors have to have something to do, but it could be so much more engaging. Survivors should be able to scavenge for parts or medical supplies or have other more engaging options to advance their objective or keep their team healed. I miss looking for Undying Ruin, I found breaking those totems extremely fun and satisfying.
As for killer, they have to live in fear of the flashlight more than ever before. Thanks to the already existing 179.9 degrees of blind angle combined with new perks like Background Player and Power of Two, a killer can never be sure a flashlight save isn't going to happen unless they bring Lightborn.
It's gotten to the point where I don't want to play DbD in either role. Every game is "not this crap again."
I don't think DbD is beyond repair, but it is beyond BHVR's capability and wherewithal to repair.
11:05 goddamn this is so infuriating to watch xD
Saves the shack pallet using Lockerstunn, proceeds to completely waste shackpallet anyway and when the Killer doesnt break it, they get a free hit anyway
Not meant too seriously haha but it still kinda makes me put my head into my hand x)
Yeah slight misplay on my part, was trying to predict the Spirit's phasing which can sometimes be tough depending on their addons xD
@@TheHotCrossEssays Oooooh lmao, im gonna be real i played SUCH FEW games against spirit, i forgott she could do that xD
Nah you played perfectly here haha, my gut instinct was telling me that spirit got frustrated and went AFK but OFC she mindgamed hahaha
Im stupid, myb
A new game mode i believe will help the game keep its players. Maybe an 8v2 or even small mini games there are quite other possibilities.
8v2 would never work, I still don't understand how many people are stuck on this idea. From a technical standpoint, DbD could never support having twice the map with twice as much stuff on it with twice as many players. From a gameplay perspective it doesn't work either because 1 killer hunts while 1 killer camps would become the default strategy. I don't see anything good about 8v2, not one thing.
@@XaqNautilus some other asyms do 5v5 (4S1K vs 1K4S) which is probably better, and would additionally allow people who want to play killer to actually be able to queue with their friends.
@@Kaius. We're not talking about other asyms here. We're talking about DbD, and BHVR. DbD barely holds together just enough to be able to run playably as it is with just 5 players, especially when we talk about the Switch, PS4 and the Xbox equivalent. The game breaks down when they add another zombie let alone another player.
This has been a comment interaction. Take THAT, algorithm.
great come back vib!!! another cult classic.
13:41 gonna stop you right there twins are never picked so i dont know how to feel on that one
True, they're unfortunately very rare! Most people probably react like "what is this killer?!" 😆
@@TheHotCrossEssaysthey're so rare that people are out here calling me a twins main in endgame chat whenever i play them and win(which isnt exactly hard with how quickly people give up now)
Dead By Daylight to me, will always be a casual party game. The best parts of the game is when killer or survivor goofs around, when things get wacky and people don't play optimally, when people put fun before winning. In what other game would I have the choice to leave a survivor alone because they're wearing a Reverse Bear Trap? They're being tested, I shouldn't bother them. I feel stuff like that will die if this game shifts from its casual nature into a more predictable competitive one. Also, I don't think Behavior has it in them to make this game competitive, not in the slightest.
DBD just has no redeeming qualities or reasons to play anymore. A sweaty, competitive environment, toxic af playerbase, tons of bugs and balancing issues, boring and stale gen rushers and tunnelers. Game just needs to die so other games in the genre get a chance to bring an actually fun and enjoyable game to the table.
For real. This game is a waste of resources at this point.
they.... destroyed the game with their own designs. That's the devs fault for doing the exact shit they said they wouldn't and proved they wouldn't. They're massive hypocrites.
I've seen many people make interesting builds using her add ons, but even when they don't do the three gen strat people still complain about her. I am starting to play killer mkre and shes actually decent. Shes definitely not top 5 or anything but she's fun when you find a build that suits you.
For me as a killer main, I would totally be ok with reverting all the nerfs to the survivor perks including the DH and such, if they would only reduce a bit the number of pallets on the map and nerf WoO. WoO paired with a big number of pallets makes up for the most boring experience in this game possible. Hell survivors that would punk me with DH when it had the movement speed boost would piss me off way less than survivors that run WoO and just give me a tour of the whole map while I have to break pallets.
13:51 Midwich, and Dead Dawg are NOT fine, they are the "garden of joy" for survivor, and I main p100 Wesker. Those maps are horribly unbalanced
Anniversary has to be good or else it’s dead… by daylight. Still waiting for Alien or Springtrap. I don’t believe in Singularity being anniversary killer. Literally will drop dbd and finally start living. Hope it’s licensed
They can bring all the killers they want. It's still the same thing. Running around a piece of wood. It needs new game modes.
the rng aspects in the game(MAPS) and the minimal of fun perks (I cant afford to spend money of this game) turned dbd from a game i could grind for hours to a clock in play one game clock out
Terrible maps, outdated killers, majority of perks/add-on's being useless. There is literally only a few playstyles that are meta while the rest will leave you disappointed constantly.
Great Video! All i would say is if you dont see why dead haed was so good its the same as DS and Unbreakable of the past, DH made people play as if every survivor had it and a successful DH bought so much time, it was basically giving yourself MoM for half a second and that perk was so game warping BHVR killed it and it has still never recovered
Funny story regarding the last piece of trash the Tools of Torment chapter was: The only reason it is on my PS, is because my brother bought it to trigger me.
Not if they don’t finally address their most recent decisions were a flop.
I follow them on IG and there page is hilarious.
There’s positive comments that seem like they are coming from employee accounts “thank you dbd for tools of torment this chapter is so innovative”
Or my favorite
One from a “Brazilian fan” (in regards to renato’s stray dog tattoo) saying “ah yes, this is Brazil”
All the meanwhile many Brazilians are actually saying this is not representative of us at all xD
And the person in charge of the account only acknowledges as “feed back” any comment that brown noses dbd for such a great chapter and update.
All the mean while I’ve seen a few killers here and there asking why they are still going up against high rank survivors after rank reset
And I said well with all the camping and tunneling killers are doing-and that survivors no longer have DH, DS, self healing, or any second chance perks as BHVR promised in patch 6.1.0 they would make more of (or anything to FUNCTIONALLY counter camping and tunneling)
I don’t think the game can differentiate what was a skilled play. So now every killer is a high mmr killer. And every survivor is a low rank survivor.
So idk if dbd will recover from this because so far they’ve done a real good job.
Im probably in the minority but whenever I see a map offering or hear a terror radius I just go "oh cool" and just enjoy the match
Dbd is fun as hell right now
You must be only playing survivor.
@@bencooper6880 That's what you guys always say but it's actually opposite. For those of us that have been around since the early days this state of the game is actually a relief
it's not beyond repair but bhvr has to stop trying to make it esports.
No Mither counters Skull Merchant.
Change my mind.
You'll just go down more easily. Potentially giving her a free snowball. Most SM just protect gens so you just take the M1 and reset on the other side of the map. You can't do that with No Mither.
I'd rather ignore the drone and repair the gen then disarm the drone knowing Skull Merchant would get a notification anyways. Skull Merchant's would primarily depend on their 3 gen defence and stealth to some extent. With No Mither, you have less to worry about and more to consider which is a huge difference, as you would worry about being exposed within the drone's radius if you were ever healthy rather then permanently broken. The same can be said with Plague and killers like Myers that have the power to expose you.
And yes, you can't take an M1 and reset on the other side of the map as you are broken for the entire trial. But what you would get instead is persistence and retreating far enough away so that the Skull Merchant would take one of the three generators she's defending as the bigger priority. Once she sabotages the gen and goes to the other two gens, you can just run back on the gen and repair it - gaining more and more progress on the gen piece by piece as it would take some time as most Skull Merchants would always be on the defensive anyways. Inevitably getting the generator completed and breaking the 3-gen. Of course, the difficulty of this can depend on the map and if you are on a gen in an open area or not. And with No Mither equipped, you would care less about getting rid of the drone surrounding the gen, similar to Plague's infections on generators.
And worrying less and considering more can be a HUGE difference if understood properly.
Apply Resilience, Distortion to counter Lethal Pursuer, and Prove Thyself or any other perk, and you've buffed your own strategy by a bit.
ngl, I returned to the game yesterday and today I uninstalled it XD. Currently the game is not fun to play at all and I feel like it's not going to get better. Good luck to all those who continue playing
1:56 MUM LOOK I'M INTERNET FAMOUS! MY TERRIBLE PLAY IS IN A VIDEO!
The current state of DbD is making me lose motivation to play any further, last straw was when Adriana came in. I refuse to call her Skull Merchant because it sounds dumb. I do wanna stick around for the rift but I do not like the skins, they’re awful. Well not all of them but still. The MMR in this game is just shit, nobody even asked this game to be competitive in the first place but now they did. I wanted this game to stay casual, but nope it has to be competitive.
I dream of a day where BHVR gets their shit together and actually work on making this game enjoyable for everyone instead of making them sweat every game
WELL! why the fuck do they keep adding repair % perks etc... to this game? everyone just picks the meta or better % perk! game is dumb cause they're almost never adding any new perks!, so people just pick the better % perk which just feels the same!. like why the fuck do killers not have a perk that extends chase time on survivors so they don't loose their benefits or bloodlust etc... OR BETTER YET killers should have a perk that once the chase music starts if the killer leaves that survivor alone like going around the wall the music and chase is still happening that way the survivors thinks they're still being chased. im not talking about devotion one cause thats just terror radius alone this one will add the chase music. killers need more scare PERKS that make it feel like the survivor is being chased otherwise THIS GAME IS DUMB survivor is immediate and feels safe once behind a pallet etc.... the survivor should be hiding in this game alot but they're not!.
also the NEW HUD info on killer RUINED THIS GAME ALOT! it took scare away from this game i always know im safe even when i hear the terror radius cause i know they're still chasing my teamates like WTF! devs, game is way way to easy and more ZZZZ and boring.
WORST OF ALL! maps are too big half the killer roaster can't even fucking apply pressure on maps it takes them like 20secs back and forth to each side of the DAMN MAP! wtf thats alot of wasted time!. might as well proxy camp a certain 3 gens cause bvhr just screws killers over on big maps if your just a m1 chase killer. thats one reason why u get bubbas that camp alot! no point in chasing when you can either win a easy game or get same amount of kills if you chased but you don't have to deal with the stress. thus they NEED TO give killer rewards when they hook a survivor period! especially if they move and stay away from that survivor!. atm you just get survivors who just stay on gens after you hook a survivor LOL!, at that point i would rather camp that survivor out and lose 2 gens and make it a 3v1.
They are good they have Nicholas Cage
..no
im trolling my team forever now lol this game is dead in solo q
Dead by daylight is in a terrible spot, its losing players and those players are going to other games (Mostly last year) what dbd needs now is.... well simple a big license chapter that will get new players in the game while pleasing most old fans, you know fnaf or jason. if the power is fun it will get people intersted again, because let's face it skull merchant is the worst killer in recent history (not the worst killer of all time twins are objectively that) we need a fun license killer
Spring trap could have a uniqe hook in the form the spring trap animatronic suits they used. Make it similar to the spring trap survival level from Sister Location and if you fail you die but the suit is no longer usable.
First they need to go on with the basekit unbreakable+mori update. Then they need to make killer reward more different hooks, and give survivor something to gave killer more time to not tunnel/camp, with something like secondary objectives. And nerf a bit s tier killer + buff a bit c/d tier ones. And continue balancing map. And nerf tool box but buff Sabo. Then, when the game is more balanced, they can do a ranked competitive mode (with something similar to tournament rules, to make really skill based) where top killers and swf/competitive solos can challenge themeself. So chill solo players can play fun/chill match doing also tome things if they want, without super try Harding games. So if I want challanges i go ranked (like all online games), if I want fun or grind pass and play Myers or trapper I go casual (cause let be real, m1 killers sucks, even if ranked would incentivaze playing them rewarding victories with more point then blight, nurse, spirit, Wesker etc) .Also in casual matches they should incentivaze to play meme builds/ original ones, more then strong meta one (more suited for ranked, with little limitations if devs think are necessary).
I love using my tools to torment those who whine and cry about me😈
They can repair. Scrap everything that came after Spirit and build up new. Dont ride the "Nerf everything" Course but try to find real balance! No 3rd Health States (Legion, Deathslinger, Trickster, Plaque), no breakable Walls, smaller maps, less pallets, make other gameplays then looping effective and fun, but most important: NO NERFS! On NEITHER side! If there is something "too powerful" (Which does not exist!) buff the opposite!
Only way!
Now with a Otz/Scott Style Patch? Naah.
The Last ideas of Scott in his 7.0 Patch were nearly all implemented, look how the Game sucks now!
Stupidarva and scrotus junk have ruined the game
It's not Dead lol, its fine.
