I consider this cut to be page at his genius best. He was way out there in every way. He rocked the shit out of this song. They all did. Four geniuses kicking ass full tilt.
This is their only song in the 5/4 time signature.. instead of the popular 1+2+3+4+ ...this is 1+2+3+4+5+ ... now an odd number, it can get tricky. BEST BAND ever, ever!
I like it that you don't stop the piece like most reaction videos do, but instead just play start to finish. And yeah, the special thing about this song is the rhythm
Man I feel very jealous that you are listening to Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin , The Doors and Aerosmith for the first time- I was born in 78 but that decade had the best rock ever produced and never would be recreated
My man, There is a reason you are diggin on Zeppelin. Take a DEEP dive into American Blues music. Robert Plant and Jimmy Page are walking encyclopedias of blues history and that influence is fundamental to their sound.
They had no title for this song when they recorded it. But there was a black Labrador retriever that kept wandering around the studio. They didn't know its name, so they just called it "Black Dog". And when they realized they didn't have a name for this song, they decided to also just call it "Black Dog".
I've been a fan of led zeppelin since the early 70s.made up with ur reaction to the best band ever along with pink Floyd.which I've seen twice. Enjoying music like this for the 1st time takes me back to my youth.
You should try whenever possible to listen to live versions of Led Zeppelin. Studio versions are clean and mixed to perfection, but LIVE versions show their true virtuosity. The ONLY song you MUST hear studio version is "When the Levee Breaks", you'll rarely find that live.
Best song of all times 👍🏻❤️🔥 Love seeing your reaction. Led Zeppelin was my father’s favorite band, he passed away in 2013, & Led Zeppelin always have a special place in my 🫶🏻 Keep up the good work 👏🏻👏🏻 All the best from 🇸🇪👋🏻
Tim from California... Like what you're doing on this channel. A deep Led Zeppelin cut that grooves and is just a bit naughty.... You will absolutely love Traveling Riverside Blues This song will rock you too your soul and you won't want it to end. The groove is impossible to ignore
SO GLAD YOU LISTENED LED ZEPPELIN!! "Stairway To Heaven" "Good Times, Bad Times" " Ramble On" " Babe I'm Gonna Leave You " " Dazed & Confused " " Communication Breakdown " " Thank You " " Misty Mountain Hop" " All Of My Love " are great ! Honestly, they have so so many great songs!! Thank you for your reaction videos!! ✌🏻
"Kashmir" is my favorite song of all time. There's are some songs that you need to listen to the studio version and live & this is one of them. Listen to the original studio version released in 1971. Then, watch them perform it live 36 years later at Celebration Day in 2007. John Bonham's son Jason is on drums. They set this song on fire 🔥 and sound the same if not better. You'll love the iconic riff on Kashmir.
I love this song. Right from that first thrum and the hey hey it gets your attention. Many memories of my Dad playing along in the basement. 💜 thanks for posting your reaction videos!
This was my idea five years ago. Did I blow it now because I didn’t have the Necessary tools. This bruv OK, bro, brother Ken man, cousin is incorporating good sound . One Cannot appreciate appreciate the instruments in the whole band without good sound? Thank you. It just makes the whole endeavor worthwhile
Ok read the comments: Frank Zappa's "Hot Rats" album I recommend the first cut "Peaches En Regalia". 3 mins, an orchestral compositional masterpiece. Then listen to the rest of the album "Willie the Pimp" The only "vocal" on the album and LOL I just realized that Captain Beefheart, the vocalist, sounds just like you. 9 mins One of the greatest guitar solos in the history of rock. "Son of Mr. Green Jeans" Orchestral with a killer solo. "Little Umbrellas" Jazz, straight up "The Gumbo Variations" jazz / rock fusion "It Must Be A camel" Very abstract jazz track

It's this still fing?
Hell I'd just come see you.
John Bonham was essentially a jazz drummer in a heavy blues band. If you really like drumming check out "When the Levee breaks".
And Achiles last Stand
I think R&B was a greater influence on Bonham’s playing than jazz.
Drummer aside- let’s nerd out over favorite drummers.. My Top 3:
1A Moon, 1B Bohnam, 2 Mitch Mitchell
Classic tunes man
@@boyceevans917 1. Ginger Baker

But JPJ wrote it
NEVER GO WRONG WITH ZEPPELIN…NEVER!
Unless you’re a 14 year old that Jimmy Page fancies
first time I heard this I was like, WTF??? That feeling never completely went away.
THIS!
It goes all around with every led zepp album.
This is their only song in the 5/4 time signature.. instead of the popular 1+2+3+4+ ...this is 1+2+3+4+5+ ... now an odd number, it can get tricky.
BEST BAND ever, ever!
The greatest band that ever was. RIP Bonzo!
I like it that you don't stop the piece like most reaction videos do, but instead just play start to finish. And yeah, the special thing about this song is the rhythm
Yeah soo annoying when they stop it every 5 seconds
Led Zeppelin -Good Times Bad Times! 1st song on their 1st album, absolutely insane drumming by Bonham.
👆👆👆👆 this!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️👏🏻👏🏻
Even if they’ve been sued more than any band in history for plagiarism. They still rock! Lol
agreed 👆👆👆
How can you say this, there are a lot of great bands out there, just listen to more music and your opinion will change.
Tightest band I’ve ever heard!!! They were a machine!!!
One of the greatest songs!!!! Black dog

Mr. NATHAN,
LOVE the way you talk with your eyes! I'm old now. We took all this music for granted. Can you imagine?
Well, There were new songs on the radio daily. Music everywhere.
It's amazing how four of of the best creative musicians found each other & made history!
Greatest rock band in my book.. welcome to the show🤘
I have this band in my blood...also 1970......yes .....for ever
Man I feel very jealous that you are listening to Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin , The Doors and Aerosmith for the first time- I was born in 78 but that decade had the best rock ever produced and never would be recreated
Bingo
Love the surprise look on Nathan's face. Perfect
My man, There is a reason you are diggin on Zeppelin. Take a DEEP dive into American Blues music. Robert Plant and Jimmy Page are walking encyclopedias of blues history and that influence is fundamental to their sound.
Zep is a groove man. The leads change from vocals, drums, guitars. Some of the best arrangements of all time.
Whole Lotta Love, Since I've Been Loving You Live at Madison Square Garden, I Can't Quit You Babe are a good start with Zepplin
They had no title for this song when they recorded it. But there was a black Labrador retriever that kept wandering around the studio. They didn't know its name, so they just called it "Black Dog". In My Time of Dying - Led Zep
Super sweet slide guitar on that one. One of my favorite Zep tunes for sure.
When the Levee Breaks by Led Zeppelin is 👌🏼
In the top 5 drummers. Ever. Period. My fave but I love Zep

John Bonham absolutely led this band with his drumming style -- on every song they played --- especially Kashmir.
those first 2 "huh"s you utter tell me that there is something about the riff that demands it!
Ahhh, Led Zepplin ❤️ Huge arsenal of music. I think you would really enjoy “ Kashmir.”
