I went to the drugstore and saw a cane lying in the driveway. I picked it up and placed it next to the door of the drugstore. As I was leaving with my purchase I heard a lady crying to the checkout girl that she had lost her cane. I went out and got the cane and gave it too her. The smile on her face just made my day. I left with a glow in my heart. Touching humanity is so important.
Many blessings your way, Carolyn. I wonder how many people pass by that came and did nothing about it. Just think that simple gesture that you did made all the difference to that sweet woman. Thank you so much for sharing.
Sandra you look absolutely stunning. Your videos bring such light into my life. I’m alone after recent bereavement and you make me feel that I’m part of this great big family on your channel. Your uplifting and inspiring videos really help me. I love it that you are watching the sunrise and set. I’m so glad you are sleeping better. Thank you.
What an uplifting video to watch today. I'm at a different point in my life as well. So many days I have missed my dog. She was 8 yrs. old when we got her Rose, a sweet Beagle. Rose died 6 yrs later & I was lost. It's sweet that you have a Doggy "Hairdresser"! You have given us so much great advice through the years. Ever since I first read your Life story, it's been a treat seeing you. Now, I'll prepare to see friends & watch the sunrise. Thank you! ❤
I’m 68 and lost my husband of 45 years a year ago. I watched Andrew Hubermans video on the grief process. It was absolutely fascinating and I recommend it to anyone who has had a recent loss .🇬🇧🌷
Sandra, your message blessed me today. Thank you for faithfully sharing your thoughts. They are always right on target with your listeners. I'm 67 and am trying to navigate successfully the many changes of my age. You inspire me to understand that my age is not the end but a marvelous beginning. You are a life saver indeed.
What a good reminder to always feel free to reevaluate where we are in life! Lately I have often found myself saying “ I don’t want to do this anymore!” and feeling completely overwhelmed, when in reality, I don’t even know what it is that I don’t want to do. (Except not feel overwhelmed). Starting today, I’m going to get up and watch the sunrise and pray about what I DO want to do. Sandra, you are a beautiful blessing, and thanks for sharing.
Debbie, I’ll be thinking of you at sunrise. I told another subscriber a while back today that this morning I met the most wonderful couple from Mumbai. They were also there to watch the sunset, and we had a wonderful conversation. I always believe that there are no chance meetings.
debbie - ask the Good Lord what He wants you to do.. that might help you with feeling completely overwhelmed. We all get that feeling once and awhile. x
The way you say “I’m at a different place in my life” is so liberating! Life is about change and growth. You are so real and down to earth. I’m picky about who I take advice from but you are the bomb. Thank you a million times over for sharing your life. I put a priority on water exercises and swimming 3x week. Never had time while I was working. Big payoff for arthritis and bad back.
You are an inspiration-thank you for taking the time to share your experiences. My mother died about 25 years ago and I find listening to you comforting as she’d be about your age now had she lived. Blessings.
Another inspirational video. I’m certainly in a different place in my life, especially the last year or so. My husband is slipping ever further into dementia. I’m losing him even though he is still here physically. The caregiving is taking a toll on me. The stress and worry is overwhelming at times. And like you, when you cared for Arthur, I’m sleep deprived. I wish I could take the time to sit and enjoy the sunrise and sunset, but I cannot leave home alone anymore. I just want you to know that you are an inspiration for me and I look forward to watching you every Tuesday ❤️
Ruth, I have been exactly where you are right now, and I know what you were going through. The mistake I made was losing myself. I know it’s hard to think about yourself because you’re always so tired. But please, if you can somehow get a few moments to yourself. It will renew your energy and help you with the job that you have every day.
@@lifewithsandrahart thank you so much for your kind words, Sandra. I am trying to take care of myself. I now have a caregiver who comes three times a week for four hours each. That gives me time to do errands, but most importantly to meet with friends for lunch, go for a horseback ride (a passion of mine) or drive to Santa Barbara where I get a Peaches facial once a month. And thank you for introducing me to Lisa and Peaches 💕
Your hair looks wonderful, you are so beautiful. I thought you weren’t going to do videos, so glad that wasn’t it. I look forward to watching your videos, they mean so much to me.
Sandra, you are so special to my journey. I feel more grounded after watching your videos. I'm in the last year of my seventies and full of wonder for my future. Your gentle messages about aging are so important to me at this point in time. Thank you so much for being here.💖
Love this! I am 72 and at this same place. Time to let some things go from MY todo list. I recognize my aging process. I’m not able to live as a 50 yr old. My body tells me to make the adjustments and now I am listening. All the fighting with myself as to how I can’t keep up like I used to was so defeating. Time to reevaluate is on going. It helps to tune into where you are.
I love Huberman's work. Free and science-backed info. Love this! I, too, have begun some routine self care. I get my nails manicured and hair done on the regular now, and it feels so good to accept AND LOVE myself enough to change and be kind to myself. ❤❤
Thanks Sandra , we get into a rut sometimes in our 80s . Like I am old what's left ...but an attraction has developed between an younger man and I .....who is a widower . He likes a Godly woman of faith like he is too . Being 15 yrs older is making me want to run and forget the whole thing. He is 67 and wants to retire. I been alone for 10 years doing things as I please, don't want to wait on a man again. Etc. But I could love this awesome man test of my life !!!! Help please....
@@jeanricketts6880 young lady, please give yourself the OK to be open for companionship with this gentleman. Please take your time and don't be pressured. Good for you for finding someone to share your interest
I have a friend who at 83 got married for the first time to her boyfriend who was in his early 70s. She’s now 85 and they’re still in love. What ever you’re comfortable with is what’s going to be right!!
Sandra, you look stunning and beautiful and those earrings. No need to apologize on how you felt at that time of your life. I understand we can’t predict our future feelings and as a woman we have the prerogative to change our minds. We are not robots who are programmed to be a certain way forever. One of the beautiful things in life is we have choices and can add or delete what is not serving us at that time (do overs). Keep shining ⭐️💫🌸
Sandra, thank you for reminding us that life is a continuum and we need to resist the temptation to get stuck in any one phase. I had an interesting conversation at a followup appointment with my dentist last week. She said she had taken my advice. I was perplexed, because I hand out advice so freely that I can't remember it myself. LOL She said I told her that I do at least one thing every day that gives me a spark of joy. It may be something small like taking a book to read at my favorite cozy cafe, a cup of coffee and conversation with the staff and fairly often with other customers too. And, it may be something big. Big or small, it doesn't matter. She is 30 something with small children and she told me that she was so busy that she only had time to get her joy from her children. But after considering what I told her, she decided to add a little extra spark of joy to her life too and she thanked me for sharing with her. Another lesson... The importance of 'passing it on'. (Side Note - Sandra, when I saw you getting you hair cut in the intro, I thought, "Oh, No!" I love your semi-wild curly hair. But when I saw the results, I was relieved. It looks wonderful!!!
Thanks so much Carole for liking the final outcome of my haircut. I wasn’t too sure either.😊 Isn’t it wonderful when we can say something that helps someone else without really knowing it. L O L I thought it was so funny when you said you give out advice so freely. I think that’s just awesome. It’s amazing how we can touch lives without even realizing it. Thanks so much for sharing that story with us.
@@lifewithsandrahartSeveral years ago I told my family that I was going to give up 'giving unsolicited advice' for Lent. They didn't believe it was possible... They were right... Apparently, I can't help myself. Luckily, they love me!
I now realize at 75 that nothing stays the same forever. We are allowed change for the good. We make choices. Thank you for this video. It is a good one!
I watch my sunset out of my windows before sleep. I usually watch the sunrise as well and yes I generally sleep pretty well! I guess that’s it! Thank you, beautiful lady!
Oh dear Sandra, you will never know how much I needed to hear your words today. I am a few days late watching your video but as you know life gets in our way. I’ve been doing things that I don’t want to do anymore and you have just empowered me to do as you have done and say, “ I’m not doing that anymore”. Blessings for a wonderful week. I’m going to have one.
Taking yourself out for coffee Sandra every Friday is such a nice treat and you can become a regular at the coffee shop and form friendships with the staff and other locals, same with going to the hair salon. All opportunities to make social connections.
I admire your willingness to change as you are in a different chapter of your life. It helps me to see things differently. I have a tendency to get stuck. I am 57 and my mother passed away when I was 17. I feel like I lost my role model for how to do life. I do have an older sister and a precious mother-in-law. But I need all the help I can get! I love watching your videos. Your willingness to share your life and everything that you have learned truly helps me so much.
Hi Vickie, growing up without a mother and your late teens must’ve been very hard. At least you had several older women in your life to help guide you. I’ve been stuck many times, but I realize that nothing is forever and I can get unstuck. Thanks for sharing.
Hello dear Sandra! Isn’t it a wonderful feeling when we turn those corners in our lives? The littlest thing make such a huge impact on our wellbeing. You look absolutely lovely and you appear to exude a calm and happy energy. It’s wonderful that you are finding your new “sweet spot” in your everyday life. You do so much for all of us with your inspiring conversations, it’s great to see you doing for yourself! Enjoy every moment and every new discovery!! Love Dee♥️ I have been contemplating getting a salon trim for quite a while but haven’t pulled the trigger
Dee, pull that trigger! If it hadn’t been for my daughter, I’d still be cutting my own hair. It was so wonderful to be pampered. I can’t wait to do it again.😍
I've been struggling with sleep pretty badly. I think I am naturally a night owl. I think I've always been this way even when I was a child. I am trying to become a morning person so I can be more productive during the day. One reason I think I'm a night owl is because I feel like I get so much done in the quiet at night. I think I need to change my mindset that I can have quiet time in the early morning too. Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks.
My daughter always was a night person as well. Then she became a flight attendant and had to adjust her sleep schedule to whatever work she had to do that day or that week. Now she is able to adjust according to whatever she has to do during the day. I think it is possible to rearrange your internal clock.
Sandra, You look so sophisticated and exude something new in your Spirit. Well done our beautiful Sandra. I bet Sophie has a new bounce in her step as well. God bless.
I have found that I have changed my mind too! I've felt bad going back on what I previously said but you are so right about being in a new phase of life and the need to adapt.👍
You bring me so much joy, so much anticipation for the future, so much acceptance of the things we cannot change, so much forgiveness, so much hope. Yes, my responses to your videos are complex, but so is life these days! (I’m 73, the beginning of a different type of life full of challenges as well as opportunities for new adventures.) I never feel alone after watching, I no longer WANT to play the victim role, I no longer feel a loss of purpose or direction. This comment is probably confusing, but summing it up . . .Thank you! I no longer feel invisible. Thank you! I am letting myself experience change with joy and gratitude for whatever adventure is next in life. Thank you . . . For being YOU!
As always your advice is appreciated and so Spot on. You look so Beautiful and Radiant. My Love and Best wishes To you Dear Special Lady.God Bless😙😙❤️❤️🐕
Sandra you look absolutely beautiful and I love your haircut and style. I’m glad the sunrise and sunset is working for you. Thanks for sharing with us. It’s wonderful you met the mobile groomer for Sophie. What a blessing, no mistake about it. Keep on pampering yourself. As you can see it really helps in many ways. ❤
Thanks so much. I went to the beach this morning to watch the sunrise. Although there were a few clouds, I could enjoy whenever it peek through the clouds coming up over the ocean.
Love the hair cut Sandra. I too lost my husband this past year and my life has changed so much in that I take more care of myself. I eat when I feel hungry and just pamper me! My sleeping is getting better but was so out of whack for so long. I walk a lot more which I think is helping with sleep. Thank you for your motivational videos.
No problem with the sound. Thanks for your message! I'm 67 next month and watched many Romper Rooms. I don't usually comment but it is a delight to listen to your messages.
Gonna start tomorrow in my little garden with not much view to see the sunrise, as I’ve been having such realistic and awful dreams that interfere with my sleep and refuse to rely on pills and alcohol so thank you for your beautiful and wise words it’s such a pleasure to see you each week
Natalie, I agree with you 100%. If I can do anything naturally, that’s what I do I don’t want to depend upon substances to get to sleep. I hope the video helps you and I also hope sunrise and sunset help you as much as it has me.
Hi Sandra, you have a lovely calming demeanor about you. Your voice is unhurried and soothing to me. The content of each of your videos is always a blessing to me. May you be continually blessed as you share with others. Thank You so much😊
Thank you for taking the time to redo the video. It is a much needed and appreciated message. My sister has always struggled to get a good night's sleep. I immediately sent her the Huberman video. Hopefully it will help her as much as it has helped you! You look so refreshed and rested...so happy for you. Please don't feel that you need to apologize for your previous video. It was what you needed to do at THAT TIME. We are all allowed to change our minds when it means a happier, healthier life for us. Keep up the good work. Wishing you health and happiness. Hugs from Texas. ❤
Lynn, thank you ever so much for sharing Huberman’s video with your sister. I hope it helps her as much as it is helped me. Thank you for watching today and being so kind.
Thank you.I am 68 and retired because of covid two years ago. I have a very stressful life. All beyond my control butaffects us. .We have always been night owls. When I retired, I started sleeping in and staying up late instead of up at 530. I feel like you guided me again. Thank you.

Henrietta, what a beautiful poem your husband wrote. So intuitive when he was 17 years old thanks so much for sharing that and I also will take your tip about sardines and Sophie. Anything to help her I will do. Thanks so much for everything.

Sandra,as always you are looking beautiful.Your shorter hair is very pretty as well as your natural hair color. I am a night owl since i retired 17 years ago, when i worked in the hospital, my shift started at 6:00 AM so i needed to be up at 4:30 AM every morning for 20 years.I now have the freedom to stay up late 'and sleep in' later in the morning.I choose to retire at 55 and have never regretted it! It does sound lovely to wake up to the sunrise! Cheers!
Thank you Sandra for such an encouraging video and reminding us that we can still adapt and make good positive changes in our 60+ years. I plan to watch the sunrise and sunset that our Heavenly Father created.
I think we all need a bit of pampering Sandra, at any age. We frequently make do when really we should spend a little quality time on ourselves. I’m the world’s worst but intend to change. You give us that little push and inspire us in many ways. Love the hairdo. Tfs x
I remember the old video. A lot of us made changes during Covid that we no longer do. I live alone in a cold climate, but I’m still going to watch the sunrise and sunset through my glass door and open those drapes at night to see if it helps with sleep. Thanks, Sandra for your wisdom! Blessings!
Hi Sandra, I love watching your videos. I'm so happy you are making changes in your life. You don't have to apologize for anything you do to yourself because we all need changes in our lives. I just learned not too long ago that people normally change every 10 years. So, this is a natural thing for us to do. We also have to make changes according to our personal situation. I have made so many changes prior Covid and ever since. Changes for the better. I'm still not there yet, but I'm seen progress. With God's help, all things are possible. If we are happy with ourselves, we can make others happy also. Congratulations Sandra!!! I'm so happy for you.
I'm so happy for you and you look absolutely stunning ! I did the sunrise and sunset when I was at my one son visiting. Loved it. Just can't wait for a Tuesdsy to receive your latest video. Always so enjoyable...love you so much....best watch always . Much love to you I just get to bed too late ea h Night. Sorry my phone out of bounds due to load xhedding from South Affica.
Rita, thanks for letting me know that you were doing that while visiting your son. Wasn’t it wonderful and relaxing. I never thought that somethings so pleasurable and simple would help me get better nights sleep. You live in a very beautiful part of Africa. I hope I can return some day for another visit.
Will try this when weather is better! Hair looks great ❤ We all need a treat once in awhile ❤️ We do different things at different times. As things in our lives change❤️
Sandra I can feel your good vibes coming through, and it makes me happy to see you’re doing so well ! 💜 Love your new hair cut ! That length really suits you ! 🌺☺️🌸
I love love love your new hairstyle! You have been blessed with wonderful hair as well! Our happiness is the only thing we can actually control in most cases, I believe anyway. It makes my whole heart happy to see you so happy and thriving!
Absolutely my dear we all have to make adjustments, your life situation has changed. I am with you I use to (pre-covid) use the drive through at Starbucks for a highly sweatened cup of frapachino (the biggest size) and drink it all afternoon at work. Well after the world shutdown (during covid) I do not need one everyday now. I'm sure a lot less sugar in my daily life and I don't want to drink all of that sugar (I am saving myself about $45 a week) now. A daily decision that I no longer think "what a nice treat" I do not need all that sugar in my body 5 days a week. Just one change that was needed, I look back and cannot believe all the calories I was drinking everyday.
Sandra, you are so much fun to listen too. Your voice is very calming and pleasant. Like you, I too changed a few things in my life and sleeping soundly after my husband passed during covid was impossible and stayed impossible for quite some time. I listened to a neurologist also from CA. THE ANSWER for me was to say a small prayer and dig into the treasure box and find something of the day that brought you joy. Oh boy, that worked like magic. On some nights I don’t even make it to the end because I’m sound asleep. BTW, I’ll be 80 next year and live in the mountains of Arizona. Also I learned to love myself and do a “high five” in the mirror to start my day. I’m having fun with it. Thank you for the guidance through a difficult time in the “Golden Years”.
Barbara, thanks so much for sharing all those wonderful facts with me. I know after my husband passed my life changed. I was so tired and grieving and just couldn’t get a schedule. My sleep patterns were so disturbed. It’s amazing how somethings so simple like a sunrise and sunset could make me feel better. Thanks for sharing with me today.
I too live alone and I understand how it's important to get out for a walk or coffee. That's why cultivating good friendships are so important. Because it's better to share these moments sometimes. It takes a lot of energy to motivate oneself when we live alone to stay active but it's so necessary.
I loved your video from two years ago, and I loved today's also. Life changes all the time - seasons of the year, and seasons of our lives. After having a mild stroke in Oct. '21, there were many things that I couldn't do as I recovered, and I thought I would never do them again. In the meantime, I started doing new things that I'd never done before, and gradually resumed doing things I thought I'd given up for good. No need to apologize - you've given us permission to roll with the tide, and be who we are today and every day. I SO look forward to Tuesday morning and spending time with you!
Darlene I hope you’re doing better and thanks so much for sharing about your health. I’m sure that was such a wake up call to change your life and make the most of every day. You certainly have proved that resilience is a very important quality to have in life. We all can learn from your sharing how your life has changed, and how you’ve overcome as well. I’m so happy that you’re able to resume your life again and add other bonuses to it. Thank you so much for being here today and sharing with all of us your thoughts.
16:32 This haircut suits you so well… Let’s do whatever colours our lives, here and now…. And be grateful to have the choice… Always a pleasure to listen to you Catherine
You look beautiful. We all need a little pampering. It is so good that you see the need to get out and socialize with people. You are such an inspiration.
Beautiful! Love your new hair and the video was so helpful. I'm consciously trying to pull the good bits I've learned from covid,,like treating a day out with friends as the true treat it is! Keep looking up! Your such a treasure. We live in NWPA where we hardly ever have sun, coming or going,,so I'm glad I have no sleep issues! 🥰❤️
I know there are parts of the country in the world that don’t get much sun. I just happen to be lucky to be here where the sun shines most of the time. It certainly has helped me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Barb.
Sandra, I totally agree with "being at a different place". I think pampering is very healthy I was a cosmetology instructor and I do not want to do my own trims any more, among other things.
Sandra, you came up by chance and I'm so glad you did. I'm 59 and realize that in life, some things stay the same but so many things change and change is usually good. I've also realized that we don't know our future selves which I quite like. I'm enjoying seeing what changes, what stays the same and what's changed that I thought I always wanted to stay the same. You look beautiful and have inspired me to take better care of ME. I tend to treat myself as an afterthought but I'm booking a little something for myself after seeing this. Thanks for sharing so much of your beautiful self. What a lovely human you are.
Wendy a big welcome to you! I am happy I came up by chance on your TH-cam feed. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts about this conversation today and change. I’m so happy to have you here. Thank you so much for sharing.
Your energy and spirit continue to inspire me and gently nudge me to recognize that sometimes NOW (not LATER) is the right time to make changes to my self-care journey. Thank you for a great video!❤
You look great, Sandra!! I wish I could do the wake up to sunrise/go to sleep to sunset routine but I live in Alaska. I would get five hours of sleep in the summer and wouldn't be awake for more than five hours in the winter. It's a good idea for people in more reasonable latitudes, though.
That’s true! I forgot about Alaska and your short days there in the winter, especially! You do live in a beautiful part of the world. Alaska is absolutely amazing.
What a sight you are today. You absolutely shine! Another great message on attitude, moments of clarity, the positive aspects of change and most importantly the gift of grace to ourselves.
Beautiful- I felt the soothing sensation just thinking about peacefully watching and listening the sunrise/sunset. Conscientious intentional Changes that bring energy to life are imperative. But, the only ETERNAL change we can have in our lives is believing and accepting Jesus Christ. That will determine our future after this life ❤
Your hair looks great and your positive energy is radiating through the screen. Thank you for sharing this. We all deserve some pampering and self care and this was a great reminder. Sending love from Palm Beach.❤
Sandra, I love this video! Thank you! And by the way, you look so beautiful and glowy! You are such an inspiration to so many because you also have such inner beauty as well💕🍃
Great advice they also say to take your shoes off and ground to the Earth and if you live at the beach, you’re in the best place. Because that cancels out all the electricity in your body and grounds us for the sunrise and sunset. Great video thank you so much. Love your channel.
Sandra, thank you so much for this wonderful video! First of all, you look incredible! Your hair, makeup, your earrings, your outfit - all perfect! I love the idea that making changes on purpose can be so good for us. You are so inspiring and REAL. And to me, real means you are allowed to change your mind and evolve through life. Your positivity is something I desperately need right now. So thank you a million times for your uplifting messages....you are sunshine. You truly are. Even after tough times, you are sunshine. Thank you!
Beth, you have touched me so deeply by your kind comment. Sometimes it’s really hard for me to know what I have in my head and whether or not it would be of interest to anybody out there. I really genuinely appreciate your support and kindness.
Thank you for sharing! Life is definitely not static. It’s good to be flexible and open to change which can allow for new experiences and new opportunities.
Love your hair! I took the thinning shears to my bangs Saturday and am dealing with that! I am 68 I find your videos uplifting and enlightening. I like a nice pedicures in the summer but can’t be bothered with regular manicures. You are right, nothing is written in stone.
When I wake up before I get out of bed, I read a Bible verse and pray and enjoy the images on Holy Bible App, the brown one. My husband is a early riser for work, too. So we're conditioned for 4:30 a.m. I love to open my blinds and watch the light change til sunrise. Peace and gratitude. The sun sets behind my couch...so, like you, I am going to have to peel myself off of it and go outside on my covered deck and watch it set from our cabin. Thanks Sandra! Your hair and white outfit look beautiful on you!
What a wonderful way to start your morning. The Holy Bible app sounds very good. You will be amazed that once you get off the couch and watch the sunset, you will find even more peace. Thanks for being here today.
Life sure is about change. I find that I need to periodically think deeply about what I'm doing and why I'm doing it and decide if I need to change what I'm doing or keep doing it. I've gone back to using a Franklin Covey planner and using the system where you determine your roles in life and your values and plan round those things first. A light bulb went off in my head and I realized I needed to, first thing, plan quarterly visits to see my daughter and grandchildren in Vermont instead of haphazardly seeing them. Because something would always come up and preempt my visits. I made the trip between snow storms this month! Figuring out what will make me happy and then scheduling it. That's been my big change this year.
Liz, you’ve given us all great advice. Determining our roles in life is extremely important and makes everyone happy including us. It also makes life a lot more easier.
I wrote a long note about missing my dog, Rose, as well as enjoying your podcast ever since I read your book many years ago when you just began in TV. I've lost that post somewhere but thanks so much for your uplifting videos! You've certainly survived a lot and still have a great attitude as well as hair! 😉 Thanks so much for all your positiveness, Ms. Hart. I'm looking forward to today's sunrise & more of your posts. 😊
Listening to Deva and Miten on TH-cam helps me to fall asleep, let go, relax. You know it Sandra about going to coffee cafes to be with people and read a good book. You are a breath of fresh air. Thank you.
I love it when we can openly and without shame admit we have different needs/desires now and will be making changes that more resonate with us.well done to you Sandra for showing us its Okay. You do look absolutely wonderful as always.
I am enjoying your chanel your personality and wisdom so much! I am always excited to hear and see you again. You are such a blessing and for some reason, hearing you makes me feel less alone.
Thank you so much! I am so happy to have you here and know that you are watching and enjoying our conversations. I sincerely appreciate your being here.
Sandra, you are so Beautiful inside and out! Don't ever be sorry for sharing with others how you are living your life. Life is ever changing for all of us. Love your new hair style, makes you look 10 years younger 😊
Great video Sandra. I agree with you about having curtains open and waking and going to sleep with the light. I did this for over 30yrs when I was lucky enough to live in the countryside. Now that I have moved to be near my daughter I am surrounded by street lights so this is not possible as I need absolute dark to sleep so I sadly am back with the blackout blinds and curtains. I think what I shall do though is spend more time outdoors as I love it so. I have an allotment which is lovely and peaceful down by the river so instead of doing housework I shall go down there and "weed"!.
I think you’re on the right track there. Getting outside more really is a help when you can’t get the night light without a lot of street light. Being close to your daughter must be wonderful though.
Sandra, you look absolutly beautiful. And if you want to tread yourself just do it. ❤️ And I wish I could see the suncoming up or going down, but over here the Sky is mostly cloudy 🤗
I understand. I went to the beach this morning and met a wonderful couple from Bombay, who now live in Tampa on the west coast. We both went to see the sunrise, and it was cloudy so we only got a few seconds before the clouds covered it.
Hi Sandra, I lost my beloved partner of 25years not long ago, so was going through a terrible time when I found you on line. I want you to know how much you have helped me. I'm in the UK, but your videos are universal and so full of warmth and wisdom. I love them. Your advice and the way you deliver it has been invaluable. I think of you as a real friend and enjoy being with you on line. Thankyou so much. xxx 😊
Hi Sandra, you're glowing today. You look much fresher and happier. It's been a while, now that I can catch up with you, I am grateful for having listened to your sharing of insights. Our lives are like photograph albums. It's nice to look back at them once in a while, to ponder, and especially to recollect memories and to learn from the experience. Glad that you and Sofie enjoy the pampering. Most of all, celebrate everyday living and be grateful always. Have a wonderful day, Sandra and God bless you 🙏🏻🎉
Julia, I love the way you expressed yourself in this comment. Beautiful analogies. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with all of us. I always appreciate different points of view and interesting takes on our conversations.
Wonderful video. My son Ben keeps me inline when I begin to let myself and house go. I had a heart attack and stroke in 2016 but almost 100% recovered by the Grace of God.
Change is a part of life, too. Think of all the seasonal changes that inspire us each year! For me, simplicity is keeping me moving forward. Less is more for me. It's time to do what I need to do with more time to do what I want to do. I think your hair looks lovely either way!
I completely agree about the morning light. It seems too simple to work yet I tell everyone it is the most impactful thing I have ever done for my energy levels and that has made it easier to wake up and get better sleep. Truly life changing. And it works quickly. I love Andrew Huberman! Thank you so much for sharing!!

Big deal you did a good thing that wasn't even hard or inconvenient.
Thank you.
Thank you Joan. I do think we have a wonderful community here of caring and kind persons. We are a family here.
Joan, thanks for sharing this. stay blessed and happy, Seemi from Virginia.
Thank you so much Sandra for another heartfelt video, and you look radiant. Much love coming your way🌹❤️
What an uplifting video to watch today.
Thank you and trust me, you’re truly is just the beginning Diane. Just a new chapter.
@@lifewithsandrahart l
debbie - ask the Good Lord what He wants you to do.. that might help you with feeling completely overwhelmed.
Swimming is the best! It will keep you young forever. Thanks for being here.
You are an inspiration-thank you for taking the time to share your experiences. My mother died about 25 years ago and I find listening to you comforting as she’d be about your age now had she lived. Blessings.
Thank you it so nice for you to even think that. Blessings your way.
Thank you so much ! I’m going to do it ! I’m alone completely and I realize it’s not good!
Diane, thanks so much. No. I really enjoy being here on TH-cam and sharing my thoughts with everyone. Thank you for watching.
I'm a hairdresser and thank you for needing US again ❤️

I feel your strength as you are finding new ways to pamper yourself and update that list. You have a new sparkle! Great video❤

You are sparkling bright Sandra
Thanks so much! 😊
Sandra, you are so special to my journey. I feel more grounded after watching your videos. I'm in the last year of my seventies and full of wonder for my future. Your gentle messages about aging are so important to me at this point in time. Thank you so much for being here.💖
You are so welcome! I am honored that you are here as well.
Love that! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing. I'm 73 and often feel ov erwhelmed. I pray about it . 🙏 You inspire my desire to accept my age and change.Bless you!
Yes I sometimes have a hard time accepting my limitations but then I think how blessed I am to have reached the age I am.
By the way you hair looks lovely
The freedom of choice is something that I think we often take for granted. Thanks for sharing your wonderful thoughts about that today.
Thank you, Jane
No need to apologize. Life has times and seasons. You are a beautiful person. Enjoy your life! ❤️🌹
Hello 👋🏻 Beautiful Lady 🌹,How are you and the weather condition like?
Love you anyway. I think you are a wonderful person. Your children are very lucky to have you!
You are so kind
Sandra, I absolutely love your hair, your dress and earrings. Very classy.
Love Dee♥️
I have been contemplating getting a salon trim for quite a while but haven’t pulled the trigger
Dee, pull that trigger! If it hadn’t been for my daughter, I’d still be cutting my own hair. It was so wonderful to be pampered. I can’t wait to do it again.😍
Dr. Huberman is excellent. His Huberman Lab YT channel is incredible. I’m glad you were put on yo him. He’s a very caring doc.
God bless.
Willing to adapt and change is so essential to a graceful life!❤️
That is very true.
I have found that I have changed my mind too! I've felt bad going back on what I previously said but you are so right about being in a new phase of life and the need to adapt.👍
Thanks for sharing!! Exactly!
My Love and Best wishes

Omg, how brave you are to say " I apologise for that old video" !! Not many bloggers can do it. Respect! 👍👏👏👏
Blessings!
I hope it helps you as much as it has helped me. I guess at the time the video was a good choice for all of us.
Much love to you

Rita, thanks for letting me know that you were doing that while visiting your son. Wasn’t it wonderful and relaxing. I never thought that somethings so pleasurable and simple would help me get better nights sleep. You live in a very beautiful part of Africa. I hope I can return some day for another visit.

The only thing constant in life is change. You have the right to change! Best to you.
Sandra, your hair looks GORGEOUS!
Thank you, Kara.

I’m happy that you were here today and thanks for your kindness
You look great, Sandra!! I wish I could do the wake up to sunrise/go to sleep to sunset routine but I live in Alaska. I would get five hours of sleep in the summer and wouldn't be awake for more than five hours in the winter. It's a good idea for people in more reasonable latitudes, though.
That’s true! I forgot about Alaska and your short days there in the winter, especially! You do live in a beautiful part of the world. Alaska is absolutely amazing.
Ageing is scary but you’re always positive and bright….that gives me confidence….thank you
What a sight you are today. You absolutely shine! Another great message on attitude, moments of clarity, the positive aspects of change and most importantly the gift of grace to ourselves.
So well said Maria. Thank you.
Remember that expression from the 70s? Well...... I'm just telling it like it is! See you next week.

Thank you so much! You certainly have made me feel wonderful this morning.
@@lifewithsandrahart Always, Sandra!❤
Thank you for sharing! Life is definitely not static. It’s good to be flexible and open to change which can allow for new experiences and new opportunities.
Love your hair! I took the thinning shears to my bangs Saturday and am dealing with that! I am 68 I find your videos uplifting and enlightening. I like a nice pedicures in the summer but can’t be bothered with regular manicures. You are right, nothing is written in stone.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Lorraine. I still do my own manicures too.
Sandra I always had naturally long nails. Now I just clip them short . I have many friends who enjoy mani pedis.
🤗
Thank you so much, Kathryn!
Listening to Deva and Miten on TH-cam helps me to fall asleep, let go, relax. You know it Sandra about going to coffee cafes to be with people and read a good book. You are a breath of fresh air. Thank you.
Good morning! Thank you so much for those suggestions.
I love it when we can openly and without shame admit we have different needs/desires now and will be making changes that more resonate with us.well done to you Sandra for showing us its Okay. You do look absolutely wonderful as always.
I love this Sandra! It's always fun to change things up:). Thank you for sharing❤
Thanks so much for watching Lara.
You look fantastic! And you are so right…….natural light is everything and so is sleep…. Remember the saying “You need your beauty sleep”
Thank you so much!
I’m so happy for you because you deserve those moments of relaxation and good rest ☀️🫶🌙🌈💫
Thank you so much!!
Being close to your daughter must be wonderful though.
so inspiring and beautiful, thank you linda Sandra
Thank you so much!
I'm glad you're honest about it and I'm glad that you understand the importance of Connection and Pampering yourself as part of a Happy Life ❤️
Sandra, you look absolutly beautiful.
Good news that you are okay now! Sons are wonderful!!!
Change is a part of life, too. Think of all the seasonal changes that inspire us each year! For me, simplicity is keeping me moving forward. Less is more for me. It's time to do what I need to do with more time to do what I want to do. I think your hair looks lovely either way!
Yes, downsizing
So true! Thanks so much.
I think what I like about listening to you, is that you are open minded and try new things.
I haven't been back to a salon yet. I've let my hair grow out longer and actually enjoy being able to pull it back.
Me too
That's great! If you were comfortable with it, I say keep it. There is something nice about being to pull back your hair.
