      Hi Jackie,
What do you think about your tenor guitar? Do you use it a lot?

@@tenorguitartime I’m rather a “ichigo-ichie” player than a tenor guitarist, so I don’t play my Kala Tenor so frequently.
Also I take ‘151e tuning’ like GDGD, FCFC and so on.
My impression to Kala’s is like light or bright so smooth to play.
      I like it!

@@JackieMatthews610318 Hi JackieMatthews, I am so happy to find your youtube page with all of that music to explore! I have never heard of the ichigo-iche. Besides, your youtube page, can you recommend a webpage where I can learn more about it? I didn't realize there was so much interest in these 4 string "guitars" in your part of the world! Very cool!

@@tenorguitartime I’m so appreciated to hear that! Not a page to learn because it was invented only twenty years ago, but you’ll find an introducing page for ichigo-ichie in the manufacturer, K.Yairi.

In my opinion the Kala works better with CGDA, the shorter scale allows a more reasonable tension on the A string and allows a more even tension over all the strings. They are very nice guitars, something a bit different and at a very reasonable price in the UK. However I dont think they ever became particularly popular, you could find them in virtually every tenor guitar store 10 years ago but quite rare to see one nowadays.
