I have looked forward to your video every Sunday and you have never disappointed me ever. You both are memory makers and story tellers and I love the music you chose. Your photography is exquisite! Thank you so very much for sharing your adventure each Sunday!
Gail, I too would be hard-pressed not to pick up those pebbles on the beach. Alex, thank you for "Drunken Sailor"!! I've missed it. Also, your artistic interludes with music and beach scenes are as always appreciated. Quite good finds all the way around. Gail, love your creativity and craftsmanship -- that necklace is lovely.
I thought it had been some time since I used Drunken Sailor, so about time I dusted it off again, haha! I’m so happy you like my filming! It’s my favourite part of making videos. Mum is very talented and has a great imagination. Thank you for watching! 🥰
@@NorthernMudlarks Anytime I need to be cheered up, I track down that rendition of 'Drunken Sailor' and it puts me right in the the mudlark with you and gives me a big smile! And I can identify the start of that tune in 2 notes. Yes, Alex, those moments that you capture the countryside or the beach are so special. I really enjoy that. Thanks again, xx Karen
That video is full of the colours of summer. The necklace is impressive again (great name). I'm not sure if any right-minded fish would care to be called 'Gloria but that would be difficult to survey. That undersea 'shot' is somewhat impressive. The sea has the liquid stillness of mercury. And the sea sounds at the start were just right. Thank you for uploading.
The underwater wave shots are a new favourite indeed! The movement of water is beautiful! Glad you like it 😊 The fishy was definitely giving us ‘Gloria’ vibes, haha! Thank you for watching! Xx
I'm speechless! One day soon I'm going to stop living precariously through you two, and do something with my own jars, bowls and tins of beachcomber treasures I've picked up all over the world. Thank you for sharing your passions and talents with us.
Gloria is fab! Excellent use of the sea glass and other items. The hag stone with the silver inset was really well done, as is the cast sea shell. Just a fantastic design, expertly made! (And I noticed the wee familiar song at the end too..!). Another triumph from you two! Willie :) xx
Gail, you are so very talented. That piece of jewelry is a keepsake to be loved and cherished and passed down to the girls in your family forever! What a treasure!
Dear lovely@@NorthernMudlarksLadies You're welcome, it's my pleasure. Thanks for replying and especially for another heart. As I already mentioned, I simply love to earn them for my comments (fortunately I receive a lot of hearts). But still each and every one is unique and precious to me. By the way: Here are two 💚💚 for you. Sincerely yours.
Gloria is glorious! I love watching you both make something so beautiful, if makes me want to clean out the craft area and get to work....The next time I'm near the ocean I need to try and find some glass, hopefully if I do I can make some pretties!
The music What to Do With A Drunken Sailor, made me happy to hear it. I hope that was the name of it. Great rendition. Gail, you are positively a Master Craftsperson, Alex, also. Such creative, beautiful things you make, that come from that wild Scottish sea of yours.
I haven’t used that song in ages! I thought it was about time it came up again! It’s called ‘Drunken Sailor’ it’s an old sea shanty. We were down in England today but of course it’s just a stunning. Thank you so much! 🥰
What a lovely result! I have a couple of questions. You mentioned in the video about some sea glass looking good in plant pots. Could you show us what you have done with sea glass that you don't turn into jewelry? Also, jewelry is clearly your forte, but have you ever used any of your sea glass in mosaics? I have seen others do that and it is very pretty!
That necklace is absolutely beautiful! I would so love going mudlarking, bottle finding, sea glass finding, and all treasure hunting there. Maybe one day. I would be very happy to sit in one spot and just dig in the gorgeous rocks.
Its Monday morning, that means Northern Mudlarks. You had me singing along to the music. One of the larger pieces of sea glass looked like a whales tail.. beautiful. One again Gail you have made beautiful piece of jewellery in Gloria. Stay safe ladies. X
Gloria is just glorious, what else could she be. Truely that was such a delight to see how she was created. What a very talented pair you both are in creating unusual and beautiful, one of a kind items. Even if you made many of these treasures, each would sing a different song, wouldn't they. I wish she was mine. Those charms were a perfect addition. Absolutely precious. A great collection of sea glass, but I must admit...little hag stones and pretty pebbles of the tiny variety....er yes and shells, have always been a beechcombing delight for myself too. Just can't resist. But I am much more selective these days. Honest 😆 Thanks for a lovely trip out to the beach with you ladies. 😊x
The necklace is so lovely, and l love watching you both creating your beautiful works of art. The cast grotie buckie is perfect and the wee hag stone. Thank you both for a lovely video xx

Ok, it's been over a week and I'm having Northern Mudlarks withdrawals. You are my feel good drug that no one else can substitute. We are having another peak in COVID-19 and I cannot go out except to doctors appointments. The necklace is absolutely gorgeous. Too bad I can only support by being a subscriber and leaving an occasional comment. Take care my lovelies and stay safe. Greetings from North Carolina U.S.A.
Hi lovely ladies, love Gloria, I can remember singing "what shall we do with the drunken sailor " in school in the 50s when I lived in England. Getting faster and faster and ending up out of breathe, giggling. Thank you again for your ever entertaining videos. Much love Sue Gosling Adelaide s.a
