I need a track ID on the song that Sarah Main mixes from Jaydee's "Plastic Dreams" at 3:58 I've looked but found nothing, any help would be great! Cheers
@ATuro12345 ive just upgraded to the 2000's and had 400's for 2 years.. there amazing to learn on cause they have all the tools for mixing (eq,instant play, bpm) 400's are awesome and the perfect tool for me to master the basics and intermediate mixing techniques.
well i see what you are trying to say, but its wrong touch sensitive is something that reacts to the electrical pulses in your fingers so when you touch the platter the music stops you dont have to apply any amount of pressure even lighty resting your finger on top will stop the music, Where as pressure sensitive is not like that , on the cdj 400 and the 800 and 1000 there is a small amount of play under the platter 0.5mm of movment making it pressure active not touch.
Whats with all the hate ???... i think the cdj 400s r n unbelievable piece of kit ... i own a pair with a djm 400 mixer n people that say its a beginner set is jst stupidity.
I'm looking to get into club mixing, i'm aware that CDj 1000's + are really what all the clubs are using, but to be honest the price is not on my side. If I get a set of 400's would I be out of my element if I stepped into a club and was confronted with some 1000's?
thanks for the nice video , i have a question pls : is the CDJ 350 + DJM 350 is better than the CDJ 400 + DJM 400 ? i basically have couple of days to decide which of these two im gonna buy , or how about getting a CDJ 350 + DJM 400 for example! any help will be much appreciated, ty :)
would anyone recommend this over the DN-S 3700?and how about live performances w/ a drum machine;is this compatible? I'm either buying this or that very soon. please do help.
when i plug my ipod into these and use the mp3 files, the tracking on the song is so unresponsive and jumpy, i cant just fast forward or rewind thro a song, it stalls and stuff. dusnt happen with cd's though, anyone else find that?
I got a pair of cdjs 400... I like the turntables, but i have a trouble with it... Does any one knows how to disable the function that plays automaticaly the next song when the current song ends? I like to do big mixes and let the music ends without passing the crossfader to the other song... Sorry for bad english.. im brazilian
@pillefreeride I agree except maybe the 200s. i use one with an 800 and there is a significant difference between the ease of use in the jog wheel. 400s seem immensely better tho!
I've tried em out in guitar center and the main thing that stuck out was that spinbacks don't really work too well... if you do them really hard/fast, it starts to cut out.
yeah !!!! i know that u shipped them from america...but from which store did u bought them....??????? because 440 euros is too cheap!!!!! tell me the store man...or the website!!!!( thank u)
thank you for sharing your thought with me and others, I was thinking about buying one of these but i think i will go for the CDJ800. But yes i've heard similar story's to what your telling me, Thanks for that mate :)
Dude I still use my technics everywhere I play, but Im gonna have to say that most people would probably choose to use 1000's at concerts because you see that aloottt, mostly over in Europe like benny, guetta, joachim, prydz, leger and alot more
@ew0kfarmer htf do you think i learnt how to beat mix. i got 400's after i could beatmix which allowed me to do 'DYNAMIC MIXING' and use more EFFECTS. have you ever worked in a night club? cause bpm is the last thing you need to worry about. you should be worrying about the quality of the mix not on the tempos. bpm is basics..
The ipod, the hair style, the cd folders.
Long live the 400s. Just dug mine out
You can take it to your friends' villa's AND use it in your own villa! Revolutionary!
I think this is the most in depth review I have seen on the CDJ 400.
I bought cdj 400s 11 years ago and I'm just watching this today
Patrick Casper same haha
I just purchased some from guitar center. Looking forward to using these as my step into mixing.
I've had it for around three weeks and I love it...!!!

Interesting seeing him doing the pioneer commercials now:)
Just curious, which mixer is next to the CDJ-400? As seen on 9:42

Whats with all the hate ???... i think the cdj 400s r n unbelievable piece of kit ... i own a pair with a djm 400 mixer n people that say its a beginner set is jst stupidity.

Yes of course it does! Watch the video at: 02:4
can cdj 400 be used with numark total control?
@00woolley
and also. Cdjs didnt kill turntablism, auto syncing of tunes did..
You criticize someone for making generalizations by making a generalization. Top notch logic.
was out the other day lookin at pioneer dj equipment n the price is going up on all types of the pioneer dj gear...damn.
would anyone recommend this over the DN-S 3700?and how about live performances w/ a drum machine;is this compatible? I'm either buying this or that very soon. please do help.

wow man i need a good setup and this would be a good feature to have.
Bought one need ANOTHER
It works well for you?
At 06:37 I think I can hear the tune "Enter Sandman" by Metallica.
I've tried em out in guitar center and the main thing that stuck out was that spinbacks don't really work too well... if you do them really hard/fast, it starts to cut out.
Care to tell where from?
This helped me decide to buy cdj2000. I think 400's are alright for basement djs. No waveform, jog wheel too small.
should i go for 800s or 400s
Would it be bad idea to invest in a used one in today?
not if its all you can afford
add a cheap used
mixer youre spinnin under 600 bucks
Not at all! Mine are 10 years old and still running :-)
yeah !!!! i know that u shipped them from america...but from which store did u bought them....??????? because 440 euros is too cheap!!!!! tell me the store man...or the website!!!!( thank u)
Big up David!!
j
I will sum it all up for you, DJing is about the music. Period. If all you can think about is complaining about the format then you are'nt a real DJ
Thanks for the reply. But why not?
is it rekordbox compatable?
which song starts @ 7.00?
need it!
dam why no tap control?
Anyone knows the track playing at 3:48 ?
song at 1.20? it would be awesome if someone knew. thanks

ANY 1 RECORDED A MIX THROUGH SERATO AND DJM400?
is this midi?
wa da track at 14:50?
what mixers can you use the cdj 400 with ?
Pioneer djm 700
yeah most djs these days don't use vinyl because it's so heavy and unwieldy. but they'd use 1000s in the club if they were using cd.
NumbMuzik
The Migrants - I Thought That (Boris Dlugosch Remix)
fantastic music!!!
Kinda crazy all these things look old school now
Nop... The only cdjs that go with recordbox are CDJ-350, CDJ-850, CDJ-900 and CDJ-2000NXS (I think)
i think.. so you don't know.. thanks for the answer// LOL
y wouldnt u use these in a club???

Pioneer CDJ 400 FTW!
