CDJs are just a buncha players. You know they all hook up with Miss DJM-V10. She's all about the back-to-back tag-team cueing. Hooks up with six players at a time. And she's down for Multi I/O ... inserted on any channel. Nasty AF.

The MPU is actually the NXP iMX processor, which is an ARM Cortex CPU running a special addition of Ubuntu Linux OS, which was introduced with the RX, RX2, RR and XZ. The NXS2 uses a TI DSP chip with it own firmware. That explains the faster boottime of the 2000. The 3000 is mostlikely multicore, where XDJs are single core.

I'm one of those people who rest their hands on the bottom of the CDJs when using the Jogwheels...so I very much appreciate the Hot Cues being on the top.

Great introduction yes for the coin my coffins will stay at the moment. It’s great n all but I’m a little disappointed with some things lacking on the 3k but it’s all good it’s a workhorse and still cheaper than the tour edition lol
People are hating on the hot cue buttons' placement. But to be fair it's just a matter of getting used to it. In my opinion, placing them near the screen and just under the waveform seems more logical and fluid, so I like it.
To be honest not sure how many of these Pioneer will sell but let me tell you lots of clubs and big festivals still play on CDJ not even the NXS 2. Sometimes I'm thinking why? Not worth it the upgrade?
Pioneer is going to sell a lot of these? Not meant for the consumer but for clubs that aren’t open which already have the 2000 Nexus/Nexus 2 installed.

Personally, I wouldn't mind having 3000's . Wish the pads were down the bottom though. I guess they did that for anyone leaning on the decks and press a hot cue point
Made my mind up on the 3000’s then - i would love your opinion on the V10 vs the DJM900NXS2 mixer as a purchase with CDJ3000’S. i have 4 x original 2000’s and a 900nxs1 mixer and couldn’t decide which route to go - at least i’m convinced on buying 4 x 3000’s.
Cole Krueger i don’t own an oil company i’ve saved, have stuff I can sell and own 4 original 2000’s which i’ll offload in the process which will net back around 4000 GBP towards the 10000 needed. This coronabullshit thing has affected my work but also helped me save for things as i’ve no travel and other expenses other than home which i’d normally blow any spare cash on. I couldn’t see the sense in getting NXS2 now after seeing this and many other reviews.

I don’t fell touching that screen so much that is is going to last or even look good for long. Unless maybe they come out with a screen protector like an Apple phone I see it having blemishes on it and scratches real soon. That is my worries. To spend that money in in a few month they looked damaged or used

i for one do not see the 2200 dollar value in cdj3000s i will be sticking with my cdj850s theyve served me well for over 5 years and will keep serving me well although a set of 2000nxs would be a nice addition to the 850s maybe even 900 nexus

@@dominickd16 Heres my take on sc6000: I have used CDJs over 9 years, last year i sold my nxs2 setup and couple weeks ago i buyed denon setup (sc6000 &x1850). Heres my honest review : The platter is not great on sc6000 if you have dry hands its super slippery really hard to spin without lots force at higher tension setting. The tension adjust makes the jog wheel just feel like its sticking its not smooth like on cdj. Also jog wheel wobbles little bit you can feel it and my other jog wheel is faulty, the tension doesnt make much difference and makes bad sound when spinning. Hot cues are rubber and feel way harder to finger drum than pioneer plastic buttons and some people rest hands under the jog wheel yep thats me. Also i have muscle memory for cueing tracks with pioneer style and with sc6000 it doesnt work same way that was extremely frustrating. The touch screen response could be better sometimes had to press couple times the same thing. Its stupid that theres no different values for loop and beat jump, its all the same so if you want to have 32 beat beat jump and 4 bar loop settings you cant. No different waveform colors. No touch bar counter. No track filttering like on cdjs just really basic way it filters just your whole collection in order. Some positives points Tempo fader feels amazing just like vinyl fader. The actual body build quality is nice. Big screen easy to read, could be brighter tho. dual layer awesome. SSD slot awesome. But all those bad things makes not great DJ experience for ME and thats why they go back and i stay on pioneer. Dont get me wrong SC6000 is awesome specially if you never used CDJ. But for long time CDJ user its not great. Also it is so funny to see these people comment SC6000 is pioneer killer pioneer is shit etc.. 90% them never tryed both gear. oh yeah and the x1850 we dont need to talk about it was disaster mayby worst mixer i have ever used in my whole career.

Pioneer is leading because of software and quality. My most recent pioneer purchase was the djm v10 and i am very happy with it. I will look into these CDJ's more as I still own 2 2000 nexus 1's

Undoubtedly the biggest issue the CDJ-3000 has is that the XDJ-XZ exists and is $200 cheaper. I've decided on Denon PRIMEs
So its not an issue as if people buy the XZ they still can sell their 5 year old outdated parts for a lot of money! :D

I use the RB-DMX1 if i’m using Rekordbox but I normally use Light Rider on my iPad
