I woke up early to prepare for my trip to Biwako Valley and Kyoto! I travelled with my friends. We rode on a cable car going up to the mountain to enjoy the valley in a snowy surrounding. On top, I witnessed the largest lake in Japan, the Lake Biwa!😃 What a wonderful experience I had!
I also enjoyed the snow sledding. What a fun day in snow.❄️😃
We visited the Arashiyama and enjoyed the street foods! Matcha ice cream is the best!
At night, we visited the Inari Shrine.

Hi Cherry. I had to smile when you said you were like sardines in the train. Although we live 4000 miles apart we also say, “Packed like sardines.” although now that I think about it I rarely hear people use that phrase anymore. It makes me wonder who actually came up with that reference.

As I'm watching you and your friends in the snow, I'm looking out my window at my own snow filled yard. Winter is my least favorite season but I have to admit that when we have new snow as we've had the last few days it is very pretty as it clings to all the branches and covers everything a dazzling white. You will look back so fondly on these moments when you are sweltering back in the Philippines!
