Ok I'll check them out. Yeah that's a monster for Ohio! I grew up & lived just north of Cincinnati my entire life. My PB for that time in Ohio was just 4.8lbs this was my 3rd summer sense moving down to southern SC & bass fishing has been very good. I've upgraded my PB many times! Big baits is ton of fun
I fish a lot big swimbaits almost 4 years now. I haven't tried oversized hard jerk baits. But I do fish a lot oversized soft plastics. Including big 8" zman soft jerk baits, 5.8" bellows gills, 7" sencos & other big worms like SK bull worms. I have found a really good bite in my area of SC on oversized soft plastics & usually do pretty good. Besides dragging big worms on bottom I fish big flukes & bellows gills with weightless & weighted swimbait hooks. To change rate of fall. My current PB an 11.4 was on K9 but my 2nd & 3rd biggest were on big softies. 9.3 & 8.6
Give the 9" Slug-go a shot...had what looked to be around 7,8 lbs. throw it by the kayak last year....a trophy in ohio...I too, really enjoy big baits...serious addiction
Lost my first vision 110 last week, my TW order came in last night had 2 in that color... its been the deal for me lately, lost it on my PB unfortunately thing was a tank not roughly a 6 or 7 but that was when the fish was in the water couldve totally been just a 5 but still... remember boys inspect your line if you're smashing fish on a bait
Big bait addict here, there's something special about catching bass on BIG baits...Megabass K" & Rapala 18 are my 2 big jerkbaits...years ago, the Rebel Spoonbill was used as a big jerkbait especially in standing timber...big soft jerkbaits can be great baits, too...don't sleep on the 9" Slug-go, the original
You're rolling out awesome tips like nobody's business, thanks!
I really love what you’re doing- extremely innovative traveling and teaching great techniques! Thank you!
