recently I've been watching all your videos and i"m doing those upgrades myself. All those changes are worth it and doesn't change the character of the bike.
I did, however, it proved to be kinda costly. :P Money that I wanted to save for buying the cross spoke tubeless wheels for my Himalayan. Thank you for watching the video. I'm glad you found the video helpful.
My Inti battery died exactly after 13 months !! After 15 days of hibernation the battery died !! So without any thoughts I changed to new battery as local exide guy brought new battery & old one is completely dead .. it seems regular riding extends battery life !! Nice and crisp review 👍👍👌👌
Thank you so much for watching the video brother! Regular riding does extend the battery life, however if you are not planning to ride for 2 weeks, then better to disconnect the negative terminal. That will greatly extend the life of your motorcycle battery!
Hi Sri, it's so soothing to hear you talking about inty !! I recently bought my inty and I feel the pain on my knees and my ankles are stiff after rides because of acute riding angle, I dont know if I will get used to it or I need to go for a foot peg extender. Have you thought about the foot peg extender for yourself considering you are a tall dude.
I never thought of it, on the rides if it bothers me too much then just stretch it on the ride. I keep my leg on the leg guard. If it starts to pain, then stop the ride and stretch and back to it.
I clean them regularly and don't let water sit on them for too long. General rule of thumb I have is, avoid potholes and riding on water. If you can avoid, then do avoid.
Ayoooo .... my battery gave up on me ... I have been struggling with misfires lately .... tried everything besides the obvious RR and battery units ... need a new battery .... how's this lith ion battery doing now bro , u recommend thus or oem ones ???
Four years is a lot for one battery that too when the Motorcycle has no Kicker to start it every now and then, the Battery on my Bullet lasts for around two and half years, three once ( I guess I was lucky ), is four years typical for Interceptor Batteries, if the Motorcycle is ridden regularly , or, have you taken some additional steps to keep it in such good condition ?
the only step I took was to ride the bike almost everyday. Since I now have Himalayan as well, it has come down to alternate days. However, I am planning touring on the New Himalayan, so if and when that happens, I will simply disconnect the negative coupler. To extend the battery life.
I suggest that you apply some petroleum jelly or other suitable substance on the battery terminal. Modern batteries are pretty good but you'll want to avoid accumulation of salts or rust on the terminals. Better to play it safe and risk some dust rather than corrosion.
Hi Sri, to save charge of my battery during winter time here in Italy I removed both poles. Do you think that removing the connection only fir the negative pole could be sufficient? Bye
@@SrinivasGanesh I'm assuming you've done initial free service in RE service centre and what difference have you noticed since you started using liquimoly? I'm thinking using either Liquimoly or silkoline or just tell me if f it's worth switching to fully synthetic oil, my Inty just finished it's second service.
Bro The handling of my Interceptor 650 is very tight, making it difficult to ride smoothly. Which brand of cone set bearings are you using, and what could be causing the tight steering? Could you suggest a specific website and brand, other than the stock Royal Enfield one, as it keeps being faulty?
How was your battery tray 🤔 I found rust on the left hand side where water must sit there due to the tray is angled to the rear of the bike. I took the tray out in the winter while I did engine upgrades and sanded off rust and repainted black. Would be much less work to leave it in the bike and do it😂 I went with the lithium battery and save the weight but the cost😮
Yeah the cheapest lithium battery here is of $180. This one costed me almost $40. And yep it will shave a lot of weight. As much as 6kgs!Nope, no rust on the battery tray. Just a lot of dust. Which was cleaned with utmost efficiency😅. So far the only place in my bike that has rust is the starting of the header pipes, which is rather minimal. You ,must be storing the bike during winters, you have that option, here, in cities, the bikes are always running. Question. You have an instagram account?

Negative coupler* The one you can do by hand and don't need any tool for it. (sorry for over explaining)
Saw that one comment comparing you to a DDK Doc narrator...and...the more I listen...the more i am reminded of the oldy narrators too. 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Wow what a memory. After so long you remembered to upload the video😂😂😂.
Nice 👍
😅 was busy with office work hence the late upload.

Make a video on how you painted the engine covers or casing? What paint to choose and other things
Got it. Next week 🙏🏽🤩
How did you keep your Bend Pipe (where the Engine connects the exhaust) still Shiny when even though I tried my best to maintain it got rusted.

Hey just noticed you changed the color of your engine covers. How much did it cost? And what type of paint is used ?

Where do you paint engine cases
I never said I painted them. Watch the only live video on the channel, you'll get an idea. :)

Removing both poles is the best. If you are up for it that is. As that requires extra work of removing the tool tray. 😎🫶🏽

Hahahaha thanks man
Bro which engine oil are you using? In RE service centre they told me they use some semi synthetic.
Using Liqui Molly full synthetic oil.

Try roadpowercustoms.
Or take it to a different service centre. It makes a difference when different people work on your bike.
Ok bro thank you

Is this color discontinued now? So there is no other way to get this bike?
Yes sir, it is discontinued.

Oh no. Well now you can always refer to this video should you need to change the battery. 😜🫶🏽
why don't you go on long rides?
I do, just not that regularly. Will start soon once office work is sorted.
Invest in a battery tender/trickle charger
I will. Still researching it. :)
install alloy wheels now.
Nope. Don't like those on a classic. Personal preference.
